This is how to easily remove an instrument gauge cluster from a Jeep Wrangler JK in order to mod or paint it. Turn your lights on BEFORE you reinstall their retaining ring so if you have a defective headlight you will not have to disassemble the work you just did. Saves time and energy. I also put some die electric grease on the wire harness plastic electrical connector that attaches to the back of the headlight before mating it to the headlight connector to waterproof the electrical connections and to help seal out dirt and dust. Never, ever set parts or tools on the body near the engine bay as things can accidentally fall in and best case never see them, worst case interfere with engine operation.
Jeff did you have to do any modification for the light to fit your passenger side?
I ordered the same headlights for a 2014 Wrangler. Mine did not come with adapters. Do I need adapters for the 2014?
I’m thinking about getting new headlights, and was wondering if these hold up well I don’t want to spend near 100 dollars and have them break in like 2 months
All I can say is that mine have done a great job. It’s been a few months and I love them they are solid. And very bright. Good luck
