Some aftermarket headlights require a red wire running to the fuse box, for daytime running lights. If you have the pulse switch modulator, will you actually need the red wire? I noticed you didn't use or mention it.
Is there a video on changing out OEM LED headlights on the 2017 JK? Same question for changing OEM fogs on a 2017 75th Anniversary JKU With the AEX bumper.
If you look around the outside of the housings there are 2 adjustment screws. one up-down and one left-right. best thing to do is pull up to a flat wall or fence when it is dark and adjust the screws one at a time and watch the pattern move. Adjust them until they are even and not too high. I cant tell you the exact height, but if you get flashed by oncoming drivers then just lower them al little until other drivers stop flashing you
I recently installed these on my 2015 JK. The beam pattern seems to have a bright "spot light" about 30 feet ahead that combines the left and right lamp. There is a less bright and generous amount of "ambient" light outside that "spot" pattern. Is the intent to have this "spot" as I describe? There is no factory adjustment to separate this spot. Thanks! Erik
Question: are the retaining rings and screws precisely engineered so that when the new headlights are added, they will be properly aligned? Thanks, good video. I am ready to try this.
They should be good to go as far as alignment goes. They fit in just like the factory. Lots of folks like to reaim because of the different beam pattern.
I would not use Factory Mopar LED Headlights! I ordered the LED Light package on my new 2017 Jeep JK from the factory. If one bulb goes out, you're screwed. Replacement bulbs Are Not Available! The only way to replace your burnt out bulb is to upgrade the Whole LED Lighting package! $$$$ Nobody sells 1 replacement LED Mopar HeadLight Bulb!
Everything worked out so flawlessly with this guy, if I was to do the same exact thing all kinds of things would go wrong.
He edits out those parts.
Very easy, however my headlight wont come off as easily. Its stuck on there pretty tight i keep checking if i missed a step but nope

I don't have clips like that, mine are screws? What do I do??
I thought you flipped us off in the intro 🖕🏽
does this work the same as the facrtory LEDS?
How do you align the beam once a headlight is placed? Anyone?

Great video - thanks! I live in FL where it is extremely humid. Is there any harm in putting a bead of silicone around the retainer ring?
Your adapter does not have a water seal like the original, could that be a problem?

No way this actually this easy.... a shops would charge $1000 or more for this
Just tried to just change a bulb for the first time on an 08 wrangler. It isn't this easy.
If you're good with your hands, yes, it's this easy.
that was pretty easy

No, thank you. I'll keep my old halogen OEM headlights and keep the $300-500 in my pocket.
