ADHD Medication Alternatives that Work | Dr. Daniel Amen

- Do you (or your child) have ADD (attention deficit disorder) or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)? Do you think prescription stimulants such as Ritalin or Adderall are the only treatment options available? They’re not.
Although stimulants may be helpful for some people with ADD, they aren’t effective for everyone and they can make some people worse. It all depends on which type of condition you have. Brain imaging studies show there are 7 types of ADD, and knowing your type is critical for finding the right solutions.
In general, medication should never be the first or only thing you do for any mental health condition. There are many alternatives to medication that can improve ADD symptoms, such as lack of focus, impulsiveness, being easily distracted, having difficulty staying organized, and a tendency to put things off until the last minute.

Thank you 😂
Thank you! I'm not patient at all.
I'm giggling because as soon as I did this I could focus on it better haha! ♥
I always do
At 1.75x, it seems like he is now just an enthusiastic speaker. Thanks!

omg thank y'all bc I was about to waste my time 🙏🏽
It is a waste of time because, as usual, his recommendations are complete BS. Neurofeedback for adhd? What an embarrassment
Not all heroes wear capes
Thank you so much! If I have to hear him slurp and gulp, one more time, I’m turning it off.🥴🤦♀️
Hearing him describe my life-long issues is making me cry. Jeez, it sounds stupid, but they’ve been debilitating since I was a tiny child and caused me to be severely depressed for the last 6 years. I’m just so tired of not being able to function.
You're not alone.
You're not alone. Put your trust in GOD that you may find the solution ❤️
Yeah, I feel the same way. I'm textbook, but when I went to school, ADHD wasn't even a thing. It wasn't until I retired, and got into therapy, that I realized this was the main problem in my life. I don't want to take Adderall, so I'm chaining various non-pharmaceutical remedies to get to grips with it for this last phase of my life.
Thank you :) God is answering my prayers and things are going to get better from here. Much love to you❤️
I wish you luck and send my prayers! These years are going to be your best :)

thanks man
Also, strict diet. Basically, just fruits/vegetables/meat. No modern-day food.
thank you for this video. for all my add people, watch this in 1.50 speed. i was having trouble with paying attention but the speed increase helped me watch the whole thing!
Thank you!
Yeah, my normal speed was 2. Even then I was doing research about Vinpocetine.
Thank you!
That really helped
I love other ADD folks... the only ones who understand that playback speed sometimes needs increasing!
4:57 "They wanna get things done early but they _wait_ until the last possibe minute"
- Or more correctly, they _get stuck inside their heads and forget everything they're doing_ is more the case I think. Because merely waiting would more likely be a choice, but what happens is they DISAPPEAR in their heads, into a void of thoughts, or they simply suffer so much inside their heads they can't snap out of it.
...and because there is constantly _noise_ going on, like a broken receiver that tunes up & down picking up bits from every channel but can never stay on one channel.
We’ll said!!! This is me!!!!
Same here as well.
Thanks a lot!
Dr., food affects me drastically. I noticed if I don’t eat breakfast and lunch, I’m better with energy, alertness and thinking. The minute food hits my stomach, I become sleepy, tired and bored. When I eat because I’m really hungry and can’t hold on any longer. I dread it. Because I know my day is over with being productive.
Same !! It's crazy
That's why Intermitted fasting has so many benifts
Sounds like the food you're eating. My wife has been struggling with that a bit too. Maybe take a look at the 10 day detox diet by Dr Mark Hyman or something like it. It made a world of difference for my wife
Don't eat carb-heavy meals. That'll burn you out. I find a protein-exclusive breakfast gives you a neutral feeling. Classic bacon and eggs is my go-to.

I feel like this video should be a REQUIREMENT for all teachers and school staff to watch.. nothing worse that the shaming that often comes from adults on an already struggling child…
I received the diagnosis in 2017 with ADD. I was given medication but really nothing else. I felt a difference with the medication but it did not help the emotional problems as well so I started trying to find out why I still felt that way. I was in psychotherapy for 3 years without any results. I found a therapist that has ADHD and he had me read your book “healing ADD” it was life changing. I can not express how this book has helped me. Thank you so much!
Do you mind if I ask you wether you quit taking the medication when you started psychotherapy ?
nioosha shafiee I don’t mind answering at all. So I had to switch to a therapist that specializes in ADD. I was off my medications due to a pharmacy change. The therapy helped me a lot with routines so I was able to make it through it but, I have to have the medication. Everyone is different so it will be a different experience for you.
Keshia Benavides thank you so much for your feedback🙏🏻🙏🏻
you have adhd and read this book, LOL.
@@rickspalding3047 what is there to laugh?
It's sooo great when the people understand ! thanks Dr. AmenA
My goodness. I'm a mother to a 7 year old recently diagnosed with ADHD. We are pretty much struggling over here. Every day seems like a challenge. I am happy to see you have a clinic in my area (sf bay area). I will be calling very soon. Thanks for the informational video!
Today is really a special and great day as I watch 3 videos of this great doctor and learned a lot about myself. As I have issue with depression and focus, so far I watched lots of videos and read so many articles, I can say this channel is real, reliable and absolutely helpful. Yes, foods, sleep , exercise and meditation is MATTER! Today I understood how much I helped myself with taking good care without medication as I’m not able to see good doctor financially… but today watch this video and other one about Dopamine helped me a lot. Thank you doctor.
living in the world but not of the world and finding your place in the world! thanks for helping us understand ourselves and accepting and working with our brains not against them. I'm so thankful!
I got your book a few yrs ago and it's helped me immensely in my life. I also sent one to my older sister who's husband and oldest child have ADHD. Possibly here 4 child has it also.
Just so much wisdom and care from Dr. Amen. Wonderful advice.
My husband & I have thought for awhile that he has ADHD....but when you listed the symptoms, my jaw dropped..you described me ! Holy cow. Every time you said another symptom, I just looked at Ron (husband) & said "Yeah! I do....I'm like that." Short attention span for some things. See, hear, feel too much. Body too sensitive. Can't stand wet clothing...if a sleeve gets wet, yuck! Can't stand clothing too tight. Organization not strong suit...in very limited areas, yes...overall ? No. But I WANT things organized. Nodding to "organize by the pile system". Yes & if those piles are moved or re-arranged, it throws me off ! Can't find what I knew was in this pile. Struggle w/time..yes ! all my life. It slips away from me. I'll think 5 min. has gone by when it's been 15. Yes, I wait until the last minute & then pour on the steam ! In my old age , I'm better about thinking before I speak or do (THANK GOD)….that got me in trouble when I was young. Yep....ADD describes me. I'll admit it. No relationship problem...celebrated 50 yrs. of happy marriage in March !
That is awesome.
Amazing to hear to that story seems like you might have a great partner as well.

Searching about how to deal with pregnancy and adhd lead to this video.and thank God i watch this video.this is very good indeed
Ugh I'm frustrated w my own brain lately. Feeling very betrayed. Wish I had a normal brain. ❤ to all struggling. You are not alone.
I felt the same 3 weeks after taking pills in a daily bases, i cant believe i used to live with that brain.
Thank you so much for all your help ❤
Thank you Dr. amen. This is like your greatest hits compilation. And for those complaining about Dr. Ayman's slow thoughtful speech, all you have to do is hit play back at one .5. Especially if you're of the short attention span variety like me.
You are just an amazing person. First do no harm. Thank you for not being like most drs today. Every symptom literally, every single one is my life.
My now 14-year-old granddaughter homeschooled during COVID. She told me that she did better at homeschooling then in the classroom because she was not so distracted in the quiet of her room. (Her entire elementary school years she sat next to the teacher to help her focus better.) At 14 she is now on the honor role and has 100% days at school (not one absence.) She was diagnosed in the second grade and has been on medication since her early diagnosis. (her father is also ADHD.) We are so proud of her!!
Excellent video, thank you!
Thank you de Amen! informative video! Blessings to you and your family!
It’s funny because actually many adhders love to multitask I have to watch a video but also listen to music, I can focus to both. We assume anything with attention is a lackluster but its only towards things we hate doing like chores or homework. Adhd is very complicated for outsiders . This is why people with adhd themselves would make better doctors for treating adhd patients
I just can't listen to a video without reading the comments at the same time so I fast switch between the two to push my attention.
Hi Doctor Amen! Thx for the video!
EVERYTHING you said on this video is true. People without ADD/ADHD usually don't understand that no matter how hard we try to "focus" sometimes it's just not possible! I was in my 30s before getting diagnosed and that suddenly made everything make sense to me... all the struggles growing up suddenly made sense to me. THANK YOU for making this video and the other video on this subject that you made a couple weeks ago.
Whitney P How do you manage your ADHD? Do you use supplements or medication?
Dr Amen,
When you talked about the elimination diet with the fruit vegetables, lamb, turkey etc, did you say”PEAR” juice or “BERRY” juice?
Hi,@@melissap9416. I use so many different methods to reduce my ADD symptoms, but I still struggle a lot with it. What has helped is meditation, breathing exercises, I gave up sugar 2 years ago, and I create habits/routines to keep me somewhat organized. I wear headphones @ work to help me focus. For insomnia, I drink chamomile tea and take 5HTP and listen to meditations (on UA-cam) specifically for insomnia. And I set a lot of timers and calendar reminders on my phone, so that I'm never late (which was a huge problem for me until a few years ago!)
Whitney P That’s awesome! Your doing everything right 🙏 I need to quit sugar. It’s so hard 😩my mom just introduced me to breathing exercises and I can’t believe how much that really helps, I thought it was just a joke.
@@gitnbizy Sorry i had lol at running late solution. Setting timers for everything, that is my life if i want to get things done, also I pray alot.
Great content! Thank you! Had to put on 1.5 speed :D
I realized that my parents sent me to school 1 year later and I was regretting that until I heard Dr.Amen's suggestions. From grade 1 I walked to and from school, which is about 2 km. My mom kept up a very structured routine of sleep, meals, I also was sent to a music school and had to help with work in the garden, laundry, house cleaning, babysitting. Also my mom is very creative and would always come up with creative projects for me and my brother. In terms of diet she kept me on all natural things, no junk or preservatives, no processed food and limited amount of meat and sugar and no salt added. I was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome Minimal Change Disease at 2.5 years old and all my parents did was because of that diagnosis. It is possible that all of it helped me to be just a little more active than average. Only when I started to live completely alone (3.5 years ago) my ADD became debilitating and obvious to me, but I had no idea what was happening or why have I become so unorganized until I heard Mel Robbins describing herself. It was like a mirror. I started to look for ADHD symptoms in women, got through to a good specialist and was blown away...Many things would be different in my life, if I had known sooner.
I was kept back a yr but skipped a grade because I had a year delay.
OMG this is me! I need to buy the book!
I appreciate this guy. Thank you.
I have been dealing with ADD, ADHD in my family for almost 50 years. Thx Dr. Amen, you are so right in your diagnosis of what it is & what helps & what hinders it. And that these are REAL Disorders You are a Dr. thru & thru & definitely have the gift of healing!😊🧑⚕️ May many people adhere to & follow your Counsel in this video.
Finally got diagnosed couple of years ago. Things started to get better. I was lucky to get Dr. Feldman who is a psychiatrist, but takes the time to learn about his patient's behaviours as much as possible, like a psychologist. Then in January of this year I had a stroke...Good thing it was a cerebellar ischemic stroke, bad thing - my ADD symptoms jumped in intensity (impulsiveness, focus, distractibility, forgetfulness etc...). Also I was switched to a different psychiatrist - neuropsychiatrist and she took me off a stimulant and switched to 25 mg of Atomoxetine...I am improving in terms of stroke (balance, coordination, fine motor skills, memory), but ADD is a big issue...I still have very low energy and a tremendously hard time to keep myself organized. Now, that I am aware of my brain's special features, I am constantly working on being organized, but it is extremely hard this year.
can you please share this doctor's information?
Only took me a few times of listening to focus on what was said. Thank you, looking into more.
Oh DEAR LORD!!! Thank you for this hope!!! 64 and JUST NOW learning about this!!! I’m fairly pissed for a variety of reasons!! Trauma by stupid selfish people, guilt that wasn’t mine, chaotic husbands, inept psychiatrist, well-meaning rogue egotistical pastors and now I’m picking up the pieces of my broken brain! No f-ing wonder!
Dear Dr. Amon, thank you for the great tips. I would also add Niacin, it brings blood flow to your brain. It helped me tremendously.
I self-diagnosed as ADD late in life and it wasn't until I heard a lady on TV use the term "time blindness" that everything clicked. Throughout university I didn't hand a single paper in on time. Deadlines just seemed beyond me.
Awesome doctor, may YAH bless you
I love listening to a video where the doctor TOTALLY gets it. I will be buying the book! Being diagnosed at 41 is quite bizarre but I need all the help I can get.
You still have time lots of time once there iss ife there is hope
Pretty much everything he recommends has been proven ineffective
Yes! And hey I was diagnosed when I turned 40 and started medication and this month I'm graduating from university at age 48! It's never too late!
Yes I'm a strong believer of the 'pile system'
Unfortunately my boss, my co-workers, my girlfriend, and my parents don't seem to think it's a great system
I used to think I was crazy about the piles but now I’ve accepted it. I found nice baskets that I can move around 🤣and nothing spills
Neurofeedback didn’t help my two sons at all. Lots of money wasted.
Being a night owl is a big hindrance to my life for exactly the reasons you state.
This is so helpful to me. The harder I try to concentrate, the harder it is for me to do so.
I just love you, Dr. Amen!! It’s like sitting down with you, enjoying tea together. Thank you thank you for taking the time and effort to share your extensive knowledge! It’s a God-send! May God bless you and keep you ❤️
There was once I was trying the plate portion diet, I only eat rice 1/4 of my plate & try to have more healthy fats & protein & vegetables the other parts of the plate. Also replacing coffee that makes me jittery & anxious with green tea, my focus was much better without the crash.
I can't quite remember the effects but I remember generally it helped that made me want to stick to it.
The one that helped me the most was fasting during the day. Plenty of rice and chicken breaking my fast, salad before starting my fast. That was the best diet for me.
There were times I was active but not eating well, I still had the symptoms though milder. The best was when I was active & eating well. Though my impulsivity always fails me for as long as I can remember, making me cringe even now remembering them.
Never had the opportunity to take medications to know if it could help me. It's hard here to get access to the doctors so I gave up that route.
This is really spot on. It seems like the harder I try, the worse it gets sometimes and lately I've been getting depressed. Went to the doctor and they want to treat my depression instead of the ADD which is causing the depression.
I hear you. For years I was given SSRIs for being depressed while I had inattentive ADHD the whole time.
Depression can appear as ADHD just as well as adhd can appear as depression. Dont diagnose yourself
@@Adam-zw1ckyou seem to have a lot to say to discredit people or tell them what they shouldn’t do in the comments section. Since you’re such and expert, do you have any sources of these studies that prove him to be wrong, or maybe share what you we all should be doing instead? 🤷♂️

Wow. This is me. But I’ve been procrastinating on getting help.
I’ve got ADHD and for the past 5 years I am the calmest person in the room.
I don’t eat any food until the day is complete, around 7pm to 10pm.
I cant focus if I dont eat !
@@elise9537 yep, it took me years to adapt but it’s the best thing I ever did. No more ups and downs, no more hunger during the day. Everything feels better.
Just miss out breakfast and eat as late as possible then a second meal in the evening. I’ll bet you feel better in a week.
Thank you!
THANK YOU !!!
At 4:30 not unless you practice extreme discipline. It's possible, I know because I've done it and am able to keep on track with a strict routine.
I read, possibly in your book, that ADHD can be caused by severe enough head injuries. I asked this because my younger sister has had several head injuries causing concussions. She is in college right now and she has had extreme difficulty of keeping up with her classes keeping herself organized and she has general symptoms of possible ADHD. It's taking her longer than the typical 4 years to complete college.
I had a stroke. Yes, this is true.
Finally a wonderful person who thinks if do now harm
15 seconds in and youre killin me! Gotta talk faster and with more purpose if you want to draw a crowd of ADHD folks. Get intense, stand up or just talk with speed but do something.
I’m grieving the life I could have had.
Thanks so much. Great video. What chapter were you looking at in the book?
I don't have a diagnosis but listening to you makes me understand myself so much more, I've ordered some supplements and am excited to see results, thank you for the information you share 😊
This is the best video I have ever seen about all the little habits that can improve life, personally, I had to discover all these things by myself because no one was going to help me, I want to add some more advice from my experience:
1) Hold the workspace as minimal as possible "less is better", distraction comes when you don't expect them and this includes:
- folders on the desktop
- if you use youtube, use different accounts to manage a clean feed
- only the apps you need in your smartphone home, personally, I bought the Niagara launcher and it saved my life
2) Start to use something like the tomato timer for any of your activities, it helps to remain aware of the time that you take to do things.
3) It can be a lot useful before going to sleep to write down all you want to do the next morning, before this I was used to waking up and having my mind completely reset,
there was no purpose for me in waking up.
4) Someone says meditation, I say at lunch, take some minute to recalibrate your day
5) When I find myself lost in my thoughts, I start to count to reconnect with myself (it is a my thing, maybe I'm weird)
Great suggestions, thank you! I keep my desk/workspace very tidy with minimal ‘things’ on it. No decorations or photos. I’m too prone to distractability so the fewer visuals, the better. I see other co-workers areas and wonder how they can focus and then I realize they’re neurotypical so they actually CAN focus.😅 Reminders on my phone are super helpful and better for me than the many post-its and pieces of paper I write on to remind myself of things. Thanks again for your comment.
Great tips. For children, schedules & set times for homework, meals, tv, etc.
I am old, so my elementary school & onward was ver traditional. With very hig standards, & no tolerance for bad behavior. It was wonderful for me. Hard at the time, got spanked in
the first year of school for wiggling in my seat. But the structure saved me.
All the lack of standards today has got to be a factor. Not rigid cruel treatment. Just some organization.
Thank you for this video! 👍👍👍
Thanks for these helpful information about human brain. I just subscribed after I watched a video of you and Jay Shetty yesterday.
I have been looking into this after seeing you talk to laura clery husband about having this. I don't feel like I necessarily have the 5 things but I do procrastinate a lot,I am always loosing interest in career choices/hobbies jumping from one thing to another and have been like this for years and can't decide on a career even been studying for 2 years and loosing interest now and it's so frustrating, I also ovethink and get alot of anxiety but mainly when going through stress. Also doing chores I find boring and almost find it depressing to do them but maybe that's just normal.
This is good. I am really struggling right now as my country, being sooooooooo "developed", makes it a SAS mission to get treatment, of any kind, for ADHD. Consequently, my business is suffering, and I am losing hope of having a family as I need to control my symptoms, and the healthcare know -all-alls couldn't care less about ADHD.
I will have to try some of the suggestions made by the Dr.
Thank you Dr Amen
Yes! Food matters. What an incredible improvement with the study you referenced. Did you say they had pear juice? TIA
Dr Amen my son, Parker, thst is a current patient says hello to a fellow penguin fan!!!! He’s a big fan of yours 😊
Eat healthy , exercise and get good sleep will also help you be healthier overall .
Everything you said in this video applies to my mother-in-law, who has unfortunately passed. Every single symptom that you mentioned which causes low blood flow, she had...she died because her brain just shut down. She came down with gastroperesis all of a sudden, didn't eat, literally, for an entire month, and then her heart stopped and she practically went brain dead. But she had been struggling with thyroid problems, blood pressure, diet, NO exercise ever, obesity, etc., for YEARS. I think my wife may have ADD, but she's also Dx with OCD, and she probably has both
That's the coffee mug I need in my life. One and done
I took it to 1.5x wow I’ll be using this tip loads more.
My mom has severe ADD. I wish she would listen to other people and get help. I have it too, just not as badly, and my mindset is different so I'm able to cope much better.
The biggest issue for me is the diet. I can’t focus and plan enough to change my diet, and I can’t stick to it.
I was diagnosed when I was 50 tho’ I know I always had it as a child. There is a “shortage of adderal” accdng. to my pharmacist and thanks be to goodness I have been off of it for a couple of mos. I have all 5 symptoms but the worst is the concentration problem. When I try to focus, concentrate or learn something, it actually hurts the frontal lobe of my brain. I had a bad concussion when I was about 10. 🤷♀️
I’ve always said I’m an organized person and being unorganized is the only ADD feature I didn’t get.
I laughed out loud when he said “organize in piles” because that’s me. 😂 I really thought I was organized & now I’m realizing, I’m not. I’m organized chaos. 😂
I laughed so hard when he said his book starts with " I know you're not going to read this book, just read the first 5 pages". Thats a very true statement.
9 mins is when he actually starts talking
Haha I saw this halfway though and had already speeded it up and couldn’t tell! Good info 👍
Omg so glad you brought up ferritin. Nothing works for me unless i have my ferritin good.
Thank you Dr Amen 🙏.. i was asking God pls let me to know if i should start my special kid's school a year later or not.. since a couple of days .. i got the answer and many more 🙏
This is so me!
I'm shaking my head yes the entire video and laughing because I might read the book but it won't be fast! Haha I did not struggle with mental health until my mid 30s - then you pile on life and I have felt overwhelmed since. The part about almost needing the stress to move is soooo true. But I hate it. I tell myself to move, I'll be real mad and cranky if I don't get it done. Doesn't matter. It is comforting to know someone genuinely knows how I feel. Thank you!
I don't comment much, if at all on social media platforms, but this video was extremely helpful and I want to say thank you for articulating all of this.
I'm an adult and was recently diagnosed with ADHD. (Not sure of the subtype yet if not both) I remember a time in my early 20's where I felt "normal" yet all sources say that it is something you are born with. These last few years symptoms seemingly came out of nowhere and were impossible to ignore by me and loved ones around me. I have found my nephew has ADHD, and just about everyone on my mom's side has some kind of mental disorder/condition. So with that in mind, what caused this, "unicorn" period? As I also had many people tell me when I was a child I did show symptoms as well. It didn't make sense to me and led me to believe that "everyone has some amount of ADHD" that varied based on brain chemistry AND that the 'medication' was either complete bogus or for extreme cases.
By some sheer chance, I was following almost 100% of your diet recommendations by my own choice. Fish and rice every morning. A high protein diet as I was trying to add lean muscle through 3x a week lifting workouts. (Mainly fish which most likely gave me the EPA) Vitamin D milk I drank like water, both out of the jug and for protein shakes. Said shakes were consumed 1 or twice daily and also had zinc, magnesium, and iron additions to them as well. I am definitely a night owl when it comes to my natural rhythm, and once again lining up with your advice...I worked a 3rd shift job. Essentially, I was living the "perfect" lifestyle to naturally compensate for any symptoms. So to me...I didn't see any, so they didn't exist. A logical conclusion at the time.
After watching your video, all confusion about this as it pertains to my life has been completely removed and I feel like can now accept my condition and move on with rebalancing my life again. I now know from (accidental) experience it's possible to mitigate or remove symptoms by following your recommendations. The boon of hope you have given me is the first breath of fresh air I've had in the last 5 years of flailing around trying to "fix" all the results of the symptoms that I wasn't sure even existed at times.
Thank You!
You drink Milk? Didnt Dr Amen say avoid dairy for adhd?
I'm pretty sure you were just unhealthy so that showed a few adhd symptoms that anyone can get
Doc Please speed up .. with all due respect this presentation was difficult to listen too due to the slow speed at which you speak .Thanks for the great info . Yup I too watched on ff.
True. In my case it is the time I should be on a place that make me move. It is as if I don't expect to take any time before. When the time comes, I'm l BE there and ready ( without any preparation ahead as if by Magic).
The worst is, it never stops being like this só I have walk backwards on every step before getting there from arrival all the way backwards to the first thing I need to do to get ready ANd writte it down. Otherwise I'll forget.
All the other ones apply too. Learning how to deal with them

😂🤣😂 everything you said is me I'm 39 and people would ask me were you ever diagnosed with ADD I said No but I guess they must of knew of the symptoms it seems. But it does explain alot to me all these years later I still have all these habits I guess I'll look more into it now.
Wow this is an excellent video!!! Thank you so much! 💓
Im just a walking checklist for ADHD- didn't realise until this video that I'm also body sensitive as a result. HATE wearing shoes and socks and underwear. I am barefoot and naked as often as possible. Love being in the rain, swimming etc but wet sleeves make me gag. All clingy round my wrists! Yuck!
Always feel too hot too. It affects so much of my life. Can't believe I only figured it out this year.
Don't diagnose yourself because you're probably wrong
@Adam-zw1ck Diagnosed severe combined-type ADHD. Sad it's not something I'll "grow out of" but happy I understand myself much better now.
Lol. I literally jump around books but I love them hehe
That Xtra Lage mug of Fantasy Coffee😍🤤 is HIGHLY distracting🤣🤣🤣... I've had the book "Healing ADD"... from the library... on my shelf for 3 mos🙄 I've renewed it 2x... I did crack up the first page😂... There's 12 other books there too... My Heart is FULL of intentions🤩
Yes food matters! I had to change my diet to a keto diet not for weightloss purpose but for health issues that doctors can not figure out because my blood test come back normal. Yet i had constant yeast problems, fatigue, brain fog, itchy skin, urinary track problems and the list goes on and on. I been on diet for 5 months and a lot of issues resolved I was not expecting to be able to think clear and be able to focus better. I had a relapsed on my diet because of Thanksgiving and my family was like eat is not like your doctor told you to change your diet and you are not diabetic. Well I ate cake, dairy, carbohydrates a little of everything after thanksgiving yes the leftovers for a few days 😅 , I am back to the metal fog, cannot focus and the itchiness is back, urinary track problems are back. I am going back on the keto hopefully I can be stronger for Christmas. People don't empathize with you, how bad do you have to be feeling to drastically change your diet and give up your favorite foods. My family makes me feel like my doctors like I am the crazy one that there is nothimg wrong with me yet why do I feel like crap . Thank God for comment section I had to get stuff of my chest 😊
what medications works for ADD ?
- Not ADHD -
I need help focus and getting started ...
His oldest daughter has ADD. They started with a low dose of Ritalin, but soon switched to Adderal which made a huge difference.
Is saw this in the video called
Healing ADD - See and heal the 7 types. In the comments someone made a list. Choose Inattentive type
ADD is just ADHD (inattentive). They're treated the exact same. Sometimes you try a few different kinds of stimulants before finding one that gives good results and low side effects
Cocaine
my daughter and I are both night owls, which has been very hard for her since she's in school.
I hope Dr. Daniel Amen sees this also . That mostly we want to keep the kids off meds. Mostly because they are developing minds. I have the into the new pill then years later from being it causes diabetes, leg problems, heart problems etc. I my oldest son Jacob's stuff was caused by the car accident so I really want to work with your NY group telehealth so the oldest the youngest and me and most definitely my husband can be helped properly. He is still a brilliant kid with music and programming.

It’s like he knows me so well lmao I also thought it was made up and everyone was like that. But WOW everything he described is me in a nutshell
