All 3 herbs are great for lowing sugar levels and all mentioned in this video. I drink 16oz of it daily to help with my HB Pressure. Great stuff. Oh, did I mention that I never gain weight. Each month my doctor is shock how I’m always weighted at the the same weight. If I excercise or walk I’m sure I would lose weight. I’m bedridden and can’t move, but thank God for this herb and others herbs. Mexican drink “Jamaica” (hibiscus) juice daily with some sugar. Best refreshing drink Mexicans love and enjoy. @@bonaai hi, regarding your question: I don’t know. I just know that you will lose weight and and lower your sugar levels. How to avoid eating a lot of sweets? You may want to look for a video on why your body craves so much sugar. Are you a diabetic? Some very thin people have type 1 diabetes and thus eat a lot of sugar. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer. You may want to inquire with a specialist why your super thin and eat alot of sweets? Refine sugars do alot of harm on the body. Check your blood by doing lab work. Maybe you’re a diabetic without knowing you are??? Anyhow, best of luck.

@@Organico559 Thanks. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis diagnosed around 5 yrs back after which I lost a lot of weight and became frail. Then sugar test was fine. But recently I'm dealing with slow healing leg ulcers and neuropathy issues .. and the person who came home for wound dressing did a home sugar test and the reading was high .. 6hrs after meal it was 146. I don't take sugar or processed refined products or crave for sweets. But I love fruits and that's what I can easily take for my RA. I don't have health insurance and no support, siblings, friends living with two senior citizen parents one with prostrate cancer and other with dementia .. and living in a flat with no sunshine or much breeze and now mouldy. Taking my father (3hospitals alone) and mother for treatment few years back has taken a severe toll on me. And many care giver s or help we had were very bad and exploitative .. now we don't have any 😭 No help from relatives .. whose little help can reduce my suffering .. not asking them for any monetary support. @@sharnabrown7728sorrel/roselle/flor de Jamaica/ hibiscus and other names from other parts of the world is the same thing. Most know it by steeping or boiling it fresh or dried with cinnamon, cloves, ginger etc., Sweeten it and having that cold as a drink/juice, some drink it hot as the tea. It's tart and if to make one cup of tea then you don't need much or else it will be too strong and way too tart. It's also used to make jams, jellies and in many other recipes. Most people in recent times with the health benefits being more known have confused the hibiscus name with the tropical ornamental flower hibiscus, which also has health benefits. But I believe the one reference to in this video is the hibiscus known as roselle or sorrel.

Many commercial products being sold also various videos and content creators place the image of the tropical ornamental flower hibiscus instead of the other plant hibiscus/roselle/sorrel/flor de Jamaica which they are referring to. This tends to confuse many people who aren't aware of it and learning about this for the first time. In many cultures it's steeped or boiled with cinnamon, cloves, ginger etc., Some add pineapple skins and or orange or mandarin skins to it and when sweetened drank cold as juice, some even add alcohol to it , some leave it to ferment before consumption. In recent times with all the health benefits being known , it's also being sold and marketed as tea. This is tart so if you're just making one cup at a time, you don't need much.

What about hibiscus powder? I bought some of this in Egypt and they shopkeeper said it was easier than using the leaves. And he said you just have to mix it up with some cold water. But mine has a lot of grit and sediment in it. Do you know what I’m doing wrong?
