0:30 How this remedy for high blood pressure works
3:00 Hibiscus tea for high blood pressure
4:40 Other benefits of hibiscus tea
5:08 How to use hibiscus tea for high blood pressure
Today I want to share a simple remedy for high blood pressure. It’s important to figure out the root cause of your high blood pressure and fix that issue. But, in the meantime, hibiscus tea is a fantastic natural remedy for high blood pressure that has virtually no side effects.
Different studies on hibiscus tea have reported significant blood pressure lowering effects in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Some studies suggest it may be almost as effective or just as effective as certain blood pressure medications.
Hibiscus tea may have a slight diuretic effect, but it doesn’t reduce potassium. It can also help lower triglycerides and LDL cholesterol.
The pigments in hibiscus flowers are composed of a certain phytonutrient that acts as a natural ACE inhibitor. Many different blood pressure medications are ACE inhibitors.
Try drinking hibiscus tea for about six weeks to see the full effect. You may also want to focus on getting your vitamin D and potassium levels higher. Just be sure to check with your doctor before drinking hibiscus tea if you take a diuretic.
    Other benefits of hibiscus tea:
    • Studies suggest it may help inhibit gastric cancer by up to 52%.
    • Studies have shown that the phytonutrients in hibiscus tea have antimicrobial properties that may be as effective as certain antibiotics and more effective than penicillin.
    • One study showed that it may help you decrease fat on your liver.

Dr. Berg. I just want to say that I listened, you delivered and you saved me. Normally, when I go to the doctor my BP is usually like 122/80. My last appointment was July 27th. I am recovering from surgery so at the time I was still on meds, having pain etc. My BP was 179/110, which is very unusual for me. I ate blueberries 🫐 drank hibiscus 🌺 tea in the evening and only water. Today when I went to my appointment, my pressure went down to 122/70!!! I am so grateful 🙏🏽 for you giving us the info that's gonna save our lives. I even lost 6 lbs. I wish you could be my doctor. I'll just continue to keep getting info from you to live a healthy and full life. THANK YOU! ❤❤❤❤

I had a high blood pressure for almost 30 years. I also have reumatic disease. Well since I look to the video's of Dr Berg I know that reumatic patients have often a potasium shortage. I let it checked out and indeed I have short of potasium. So I supplement potasium, you know what? I feel much better and I have a normal blood pressure. My doctor and rheumatologist didn't made the connexion to potassium, but Dr Berg does! Thank you Dr Berg! 😃

If you aren't eating a high sodium diet, also look into celery smoothies or celery juice. It really helps with blood pressure. However, peoole who already have a high sodium diet dont benefit as much or notice a difference due to the natural sodium present in celery. I do celery, fresh ginger, and beet root powder smoothies. Those 3 are a powerhouse for blood pressure control too.

After 15 years of taking high blood pressure medication I found a natural remedy that I use and I no longer have high blood pressure at all! For a year now, my blood pressure has been normal WITH BEET JUICE! Of course, important segments are normal exercises (walking), reduce salt, fat, alcohol, coffee, reduce but do not eliminate, but the holy medicine for high blood pressure is beet juice! Also, beetroot juice must be drunk in moderation, because if you drink, say, an entire glass your blood pressure can drop below normal! So, who has high blood pressure, half a cup of beet juice before noon and half a cup after noon! And you don't need that therapy every day, just sometimes! I now drink one cup a week, sometimes two!

I am Jamaican, and in Jamaica we use it as a herbal medicine, plus we use it as a beverage at Christmas, it is boiled with ginger cloves and cinnamon, left overnight and then sweetened with your choice of sweetener, add Jamaican rum or red wine poured over ice and served. Every West Indian home has this ingredient in their pantry and it is easily available at Korean and West Indian Supermarkets
