I got the pearl full yapp CSB PSQ on Thurs. Beautiful Bible and complements my blue quentel CSB. I used it for our Good Friday service. This will be going with me everywhere.
@@CalebBatts Yeah, I can see that. I’ve really grown fond of the CSB. It’s a great balance of formal and dynamic equivalence. I think their ‘optimal equivalence’ is a wise translation philosophy. I don’t mind them the “brothers and sisters” because it does accurately represent what the original audience would have understood the Greek there to mean. Btw, I just stumbled upon your channel but you got my subscription. I enjoyed that video.
Love this Bible. I got the Tuscany. For me, it is the perfect Bible. Question- I know the website says it’s the 2020 edition, but mine has the 2017 copyright. It doesn’t say 2020 text like my regular size CSB Quentel does. Is yours that way?
Maybe there is less margin space to make the text less crammed? Man, that green goatskin with that red calfskin is a majestic juxtaposition of class. I love the full yapp. My dark brown LSB Bible is full yapp and it looks amazing and it does protect the guild and gilt very well. It looks about the same as the Cambridge Clarion yet with much better materials. If only Cambridge could step the quality all around on the Clarion it might compete with the psq.
Such a nice looking Bible! I’m looking into a Treveris. Do you know if there is a huge size difference between the two? Thanks! Great video. In Christ, Davis
From Schuyler The Treveris is unique in that it seeks to give the Bible reader a format that is free of human commentary, i.e. without subheadings, references, etc., but at the same time remains practical for Bible study. To that end we have designed a format where the text itself is free from callers, subheadings, and numbers, but verse and chapter designations are available in the margins, with subheadings in the header. The Treveris is also unique in the King James translation to have poetic sections and quotations ‘set off’ in a block verse- by-verse format. Trim Size: 5.5″ x 8.5″ x ~1.1″ (140mm x 215mm x ~28mm) 28 GSM Paper Font: 10 pt. Single Column Paragraph format Single Column, Verse-by-Verse format for Psalms, Proverbs, Song of Solomon, Poetry and Quotations Ornamental Drop Caps Red letter (for King James Version) Italics for supplied words Epistle Dedicatory & Translators to the Readers (for King James Version) Concordance Line Matching to avoid “see through” Art Gilt Edging Schuyler Bible Maps
I have a regular size CSB with the darker print and an ESV. This CSB PSQ I got has the lighter print like the ESV I have. I just compared all three to verify.
Evangelical Bibles still has some new dark green with red art gilt PSQ in different translations on their webpage. I believe the NASB is $190 right now.
@@CalebBatts This is my first premium bible. How do you bring yours back and forth to anywhere you go? I want to use it but not trash it. Do you use a case or anything?
So for the slate psq that has been my travel Bible, it has just been put in my backpack. I have not used a case. I know a bunch of people have used ipad cases to protect their Bible. When I take my preaching Bible to church I have a bag I use to put my Bible, travelers notebook and journal in. I also duck hunt so the bag I got is a Sitka sling pack. It works perfect to protect those 3 things. @@AndrewJTakacs
As you said, nothing beats unboxing a brand new Schuyler. Love the unboxing videos. Thank you for sharing. 👍
Thanks Mike

Is the print extra dark like the CSB Quentel (darker than most Quentels)?

That’s good to know. I will have to take a closer look myself
Dude it took you over 3 minutes to unpack the Bible!
Can I buy this Bible from you so I can sleep at night 😂. I’ve been on a quest I find one but I can’t. I even considered switching translations lol
I actually sold it a few months ago

Having both the FY and non FY, which do you prefer?
I love both. With that said the FY is what I would prefer. Just for the fact that it helps protect the pages.
@@CalebBatts I appreciate it brother!
