It touched my heart when you said people in your family don’t get excited/care about the Bible. Be encouraged in your journey! Thank you for sharing. ☺️
Oh Lord, do I ever get excited to get new Bibles...I love Bibles, so I have a few of them and I still get excited every time I get a new one... Your's is beautiful... Rose gold is a favorite of mine as well...I hope you enjoy your new Bible...I use the NLT ...But I do love the NKJV and ESV...🙌🙏✝️🙏🙌
Yay! I am SO excited for you !! And I 💯 get your excitement for a new Bible!! I am currently reading through A Complete Jewish Bible version. This version was and is a gift 💝 It has opened my eyes and my heart to the people of Israel 🇮🇱 our brothers and sisters in union with Yeshua! 💙🤍
NLT and even ESV & others do not have the "missing" verses you mentioned because they are going off of older manuscripts that did not have those verses in there. They usually put them as a footnote at the bottom of the page with a number or asterisk. All translations are good to use. Helps get a better sense of the verse. You might find insight with one translation that you didn't with another. You can't get a 100% accurate Bible no matter how word for word or dynamic you go. On another note, I wish they would come out with a extra large print journaling Bible. Sadly, all large print journaling Bibles are only 9/9.5 font. I keep hope for one day lol. That is a beautiful Bible I have had my eye on.❤
It's good to compare various translations to find the one you prefer. Each Bible has its own purposes. Reference bibles can also be wide margin. Thinline is paper fine tissue like. CSB is a great translation. ESV takes it it further. Watch some of Tim Wildsmith videos. He's amazing at explaining. You will see paper thickness and font size. Tyndale is known for their great print. Look up Tyndale Large print compact Bibles. Awesome! Hosanna and Crossway tend to have the words large print but after many purchases with Zondervan and Tyndale large print it's very very different. I understand 1000 times why you are excited. It is exciting. You have to find a group to share it in with you that are sharing your love of Christ. Church Bible study, church womans group etc. I learned over months of buying Bibles the various publishers and paper, font, Wide Margin compared to journaling, reference bibles etc. I have Compact NLT loaded with ways to make it them my prayer bible. Christianbook store online is one place I would recommend purchasing. I wanted an interleaved CSB but it doesn't exist and the ESV interleaved font is too small. I bought a large print (not as big as Tyndale. I don't think you would be comfortable at all.) CSB Wide Margin and I am going to attempt adding my own cream or Ivory 20lb print paper tip ins to it. It's a project but I'm excited to make it my own. I think your enthusiasm is great! Keep on getting in the word of Christ and doing it your way!!! All translations count as long as you are learning and growing. 🩷🙏
You might want to look up the Inspire prayer bible giant print. There is plenty of room to journal and color. It also has the filament app. I love mine !
Yay! So happy for you!! I have not found the perfect Bible. But I think each Bible is perfect in its own way. However, I think we can make our Bibles perfect by personalizing them. I just found your channel today!
That is so pretty. I have a favorite Bible and am hoping to get it rebound. It's an ESV single column wide margin 9 point. It is no longer in print, but they have one that I think is similar. I also have a small CSB that was 11.5. I like that size print, too. Definitely like a bigger font also as I get older. 😊
Hi! I totally understand your excitement about getting a new Bible in the mail. I share your excitement! I love buying more bibles. I have to try and curb myself because it’s overwhelming. But I love my bible collection which includes many different translations. God bless!
Pretty Bible. I love the Rose gold. I like a more portable size that is easier to hold. One option which you might consider adding to your Bible study is a small portable audio Bible. One brand is Wonder Bible. I have a different brand. These are available in a variety of translations. My perfect Bible is old school NASB Open Bible that is 40 years old. I just received a clean used copy 2 days ago. The amount of Bibles I own is crazy but I love them all for various reasons. I totally understand your excitement at receiving a new Bible. For those of us who understand the joy of reading the Word, a Bible is so much more than just a book.
absolutely!! I use the youversion app for audio, is that different? I'll check Wonder bible out! edit: wow I just looked it up, it's an actual device! wow!
I’ve been looking for the perfect Bible for a long time. I have probably over 40 bibles and struggle with which translation etc. I recently stumbled across your channel. And this Bible is beautiful! ❤
Thank you so much! Wow 40!! I am really loving this bible so far and I love the app as well. I like their audio option because they have music and sometimes multiple voices to make it sound like a real conversation when people speak. Pretty cool! And I can read it without glasses 🤓🥰 i found they have a smaller personal size I have my eyes 👀 on. This one is quite large so i only read it at home. I can’t have too many bibles 😂 i only have around 10 lol
Totally understand, i get so exited when i get a new bible ❤ i write only in one bible so all my notes in one place but i read multiple bibles and different translations. Because of you i bought this super giant print, Because i didnt even know they existed. I love it, prinf sooo big, so easy to read, love it ❤
Ahh yes! Same! I only write in one as well. The app is also very handy! I’ve been doing the same looking up verses in different translations it’s been very helpful!
Thay rose gold is fabulous, the soft cover and smooth bunding. Guilded pages.. yes... extra big font, so good! Ghosting on the pages would make me return it, its too distracting. I also prefer NKJV version. I like there to be chapter introductions and cross references throughout scripture, and now im looking for something like a thompson chain where i can break into understanding the greek and hebrew. But maybe not quite as fancy... slightly more beginners. ❤ blessings
@DejaDrewit yes ma'am, thompson chain reference bible, it's a type of Bible, not a translation, so you should be able to get a few different translations. It's a deep dive reference bible mostly used by pastors. I've never had one, thinking about it tho!
I was told the perfect Bible translation is the one you would read. I would read the Message just as an easy reading Bible but my go tos are ESV, NASB, and CSB for in depth study and NLT for kids church teachings. Oh and Lexham Bible on Logos. My ideal translation would be as close to word for word translation with wide journaling margins. I love some of the word play that the Hebrew offers and learning about it from Bible Project Classroom has been beautiful.
I have used the NLT for reading, I started with just reading the bible in NKJV and I just found it hard so switched to NLT. That is a stunning bible, ideal for just reading, you can make it a prayer bible or scripture writing. I study with the ESV and Amplified version and use the NLT or others for reading and prayers.
I have over 30 bibles and a lot of study tools. I have not found a perfect bible yet. What I have found is I have several bibles for different purposes. I do have a journaling bible, but like you mentioned the print is still too small for my older eyes. I have a couple coloring bibles for when I just want to get more creative and color and meditate on the word as I do it. I have study bibles I use (like the Thompson Chain Reference Bible) for study and I use several translations when I go into deep bible studies. I like the NLT or New King James for when I just want to read and not have to deep dive. For study I love the ESV, King James and the NASB together with a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and an interlinear bible set. I recently got a CSB and I am liking that one too, it's like the NLT. Sometimes I just want to read the word in plain modern English. CSB is newer and supposed to be the most accurate word for word and thought for thought, as opposed to using the NIV for a basic translation. But, I think ESV is supposed to be one of the most accurate and the NASB is the most literal. I could be wrong, but that is what I have learned so far. The earlier translations do have text that is not there that you will find in the KJV. Which makes me wonder if they were notes in the margin added in the KJV. I think finding the perfect bible is like finding a unicorn. So that's my excuse for buying so many! LOL
Absolutely LOVE this!!! Wow! Now you’re making me want to check out more translations! There is a coloring bible that I’ve had my eye on as well I love the idea of actually using different ones for different reasons! Thank you for your comment! 🙏❤️
@@DejaDrewit Yes! The way I see it, is the word of God is alive and is such a personal part of our life that I just cannot settle on one bible for all things. And so I have finally given up on that one perfect bible and just found bibles that suited my needs. I even have a smaller personal bible I have dedicated to prayer. I used colorful post it's to write subjects and stick them on those pages with that verse. Such as, when I am feeling anxiety, sadness, or it's health related (so verses about God's promises or healing), etc. I flip to that verse and pray talking to God about it. I know some people this will not work, I think for those of us who are more creative or maybe just really love to nerd out over the word this is helpful. It's so personal right? As for coloring bibles I have "My Promise Bible" and I have the NLT Inspire FAITH Bible. They have an entire series of coloring bibles. Be careful with that rabbit hole! LOL PS I could not help it, I went and just bought your rose gold bible. Haha! It's on sale on Amazon right now.
exactly! or not having your glasses and not being able to read. I love it!!! It's so pretty especially after I put new tabs on it! (posting that video today)
You should look at the Giant print Inspire Prayer Bible yes it is also NLT BUT it has the large margins to write notes, pages you can color, beautiful vellum pages with prayers, 12.65 font , It's AWSOME !!!!
I completely relate to your search for the perfect bible. I’ve been looking for a study/cross reference bible and it’s so hard to find just the right one. I received a beautiful Bible that my brother sent me for my birthday the other day and it looks like the warehouse must have accidentally sliced the spine of it with a box cutter when they initially unpacked it. I didn’t want my brother to feel bad so I haven’t mentioned it to him but I really wish there was a way that I could get amazon to replace it. The print is very large too. I had never seen print that large. I want to find a bible with the book taps in it. Your bible is beautiful.
What a great brother! Maybe there’s a way to tell him you love it so much but noticed they damaged it and kindly ask him to have it replaced. It wasn’t his fault amazon sends damaged stuff all the time and replaced it. I’ve gifted a bible to someone years ago I can guarantee they never even opened it lol. Maybe one day if they still have it. 🙏 I actually wrote if you dont want this bible please send it back because I do 😂 it was so pretty i didn’t want it to go to waste lol. My fear is always gifting something to someone they don’t actually want and then them feeling bad.
I would love to see how to put tabs for each book of the Bible. My favorite translation is the Amplified Classic which is out of print. Kenneth Copeland has the Amplified Classic Translation through his ministry.
Nice! I wish there were a lot more options in Super Giant Print. I definitely plan to get one. May I suggest reading your NLT Chronologically and following a 90 day chronological plan on YouVersion? I recently did that with an NLT. I would sometimes put the narrator on too. It’s next level and puts everything in context and as one continuous story.
The Life Application Study Bible is the perfect Bible for me! I have the Large print (11pt), maps are amazing. I got the pretty pink & grey faux leather-it’s beautiful! It has a commentary from leading scholars and lots of references to other scripture that applies to what you’re currently reading. The beginning of each book has vital stats and an overview of the book. In the back a layout of reading the Bible in one year, how to talk to others about Christ and leading them to Him, plus a follow-up discussion to have with them later. It’s over all an amazing Bible-it’s one of the best study bibles I’ve found and I love collecting Bibles. It doesn’t have a side area to take notes or draw but to get a larger print you have to give up something-it’s already a thick/chunky Bible. I have lots of Bibles for Journaling for art work things. You can still take notes in the Bible but I also like my Journal so things are in one place-I organize it by Books and Chapters so it’s easy to reference back to. I have the NIV because it is easier to understand when studying but keep KJV for reference. I watched many reviews on different translations from more experienced people and the things that seem to be missing still lines up with KJV or some others. An easier reading Bible version is going to have things that are "missing" but it’s actually how it reads to be easier-it still keeps the same meaning. Most of those ppl say it mostly stays within the realm of the KJV while keeping it more understandable. Many ppl would easily give up on reading something they don’t understand at all or spend more time trying to understanding so rewording it as long as it doesn’t change the meaning is much better for the average reader. ***Just my opinion from many hours of watching reviews, reading reviews or talking to Pastors. Everyone has to do what they feel is right for them. Love and blessings in Jesus’ name! 🙏🙌❤️🕊️
Btw, I’m excited for you to find your perfect Bible. I so felt your excitement for Gods word and the love of different Bibles. Prayers for your YT channel and talking to others about how great God is!🕊️🙏🙌🙌❤️🕊️
Thank you SO much Pam!!! I have have that same large print study bible but in teal! It has so much good information!! For some reason I only use it for commentary but not for daily reading. Maybe because it’s so big lol! 🙏❤️ blessings to you as well!
Hello, thank you for sharing I recently saw this book in a bible study group I'm apart of on Facebook I had in my shopping cart on Amazon for about three days, because I wanted to order something else, but I just went, and ordered it as soon as you opened the box, and showed the font size, and I understand the excitement, because its discouraging trying to read something when you can't see it, and this was the problem I had for many years as my eyesight changed my very first I got in 2000, and now the words are to small. I ordered another bible about which was large print, and I was like you when I opened it so excited I hug, and kiss my bible, because I don't want to be on line trying to read the word of God, because I can enlarge it, but it's a distraction being on line, unfortunately that bible still wasn't large enough, and it didn't have the the captions to say what the chapters were about, but I kept it regardless, because it was bigger than the one I had. This video popped up out of nowhere, so I guess this is God approved. God bless. 😊
Hi! Thank you for your comment and I truly hope you love this bible!! I really enjoy it even though it’s a different translation than I am used to it’s actually helped me understand verses I overlooked in the past with NKJV ! 🙏❤️
I recently bought a very late print NLT and I love it. A nice big 14 font. Like you I want the font size. Personally I won’t even consider a bible that does not have at least a 10 pt. Font.
I love the audio Bible as it light , portable, has a long lasting rechargeable battery, doesn’t require data or internet, and can be used with or without headphones. Therefore it can go anywhere in a purse or be used at bed. It is a great augmentation to a physical Bible. I have bought and given away several.
I love the Chronological Bible which I have now. Unfortunately it’s NLT translation by Tyndall. But I also have the evidence Bible by Ray Comfort which I read along side it.
Oh I had the evidence bible! I never used it tho :/ so I gave it to my chuch. I am definitely interested in reading the bible chronologically one day ❤️🙏
My sister and my daughter both have "favorite" Bibles. They were surprised that none of my current Bibles are my favorite. (Mind, I am not rich and have a limited collection.) I guess if I could make a favorite, it would have: *The NKJV translstion *A verse-by-verse layout (It's easier for me to read that way.) *Double columns * No red letters (Red letters are hard for me to focus on.) *Cross references *Larger font (I am middle aged.) *Helps in the back (Concordance, maps, etc.) *Nice paper *A pretty cover
Hey Rachel I think you just described my ideal perfect bible! I love the red letters just to know it’s Jesus speaking but honestly it can be any other color I suppose. I never realized some people have a hard time reading the red and always wondered why some bibles don’t have it. That maybe explains it! Thanks for watching!
I like the ESV and finding a large print is easy but all of the covers are brown and black. I’m the same way I want my bible to look beautiful and be functional. I want at least 12 point font for comfort. Definitely thick enough paper so ghosting isn’t a problem and a little margin space but it doesn’t have to be much. I also prefer Words of Christ in Red. I will keep searching for that perfect bible along with you.
Hello ! Yes I do get excited when I have a new Bible. I currently am using the NKJV but I'm not sure of the print size. It's bigger than the 12 point size. I have a suggestion, I hope you will like, in regards to the ribbons, I made my own ribbon holders by gluing with a hot glue gun on a piece of cardboard that could fit inside the open spine. It stays in place as long as you make the cardboard piece at least 1/2 the length of your Bible. TYFS 🤗
Hi! Good idea! I’ve added ribbons but without the glue just stick it to a piece of cardboard and shoved it into the spine. I need to get a hot glue gun! Thanks for watching!
I had to start buying large print versions of my Bibles because of vision problems, called old age! I have only purchased the Bibles with a few references and narrowed down two of my most used Study Bibles carefully before buying them because they are more costly than the regular Bibles with references. I own and use several translations because they help me gain better understanding of difficult passages. Every Bible I own has highlighting and underlining and a few notes. That's just how I roll! :)
That's interesting but I encourage you to also take everything with a grain of salt. I was raised in a very Catholic home and went to Catholic school and church in my youth. If you study the origins of the Catholic Church and why Dec 25 instead of Sukkot it's pretty wild.....the Romans needed a way to keep power as their empire crumbled at the same time "Christianity"/Messianic Judaism was already underway for at least a century. Jesus was PERFECTLY placed within each appointed holy day that God tells His people to partake in in Leviticus. Jesus tells us he fulfilled the law and he wants us to follow it to the best of our ability. He tells us love is most important because it's why he made the law. The 10 are the core of the 613. Those are Biblical. Can study it in a year or less if a few a day. The TALMUD is the text that's Rabbinical and that he was upset people were taking more seriously than His Word. But thank you for sharing your favorite. 💕 My great grandmother was Catholic and she helped raise me. An amazing woman I just have faith that she was one that didn't fall so far from the truth. Jesus says there will be those that cry out that they did good works in His name but they never knew Him. Sometimes we get caught up in what's comfortable for us and what a group likes vs what God is calling us to. Pray for discernment and definitely keep studying your Bible. Though versions like KJV honestly remove a lot of previous context and verses...they have general ideas the same I believe God's will. But if we grow in our faith and become more interested in the closer relationship with Jesus, makes sense to study MORE deeply and not just reading what one or two versions say. Blessings.
😆 yes it’s pretty large! 7x9 though sounds nice!! This one is pretty large. A personal size would be great but it would be suppper thick if they even made one. ❤️
@ i will have to look into it! I’ve only found 10.5 point in that “small” size thank you! This one in the video is 10.5x7.5 but feels massive for some reason lol. I have a 6x9 nkjv but it’s 10.5 point.
I feel the same way. I am a failry new believer in Christ (6 months) I had a 10$ NIV Bible which served me well, but it was falling apart. I got an NASB Bible with 11 font. Which is good enough to read. But I feel the same, the excitement to read a new Bible is real
Yes!! I’ve been reading this one every night and LOVE it! Also I heard a saying that a bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to a person who isn’t. 🤗so keep going! ❤️
Greetings in the Lord sister. I love your enthusiasm! Have you considered the Simplified KJV chestnut floral? I would also recommend you to get a Thompson Chain Reference bible (it's available in KJV, NKJV, and others) for study.
Hi! I just ran across your vlog! I too would like to order a rainbow Bible in super giant font. Can’t find one anywhere their font size is so tiny. I can’t see the lettering. I too, sat in front of a computer for 30 years and my eyes are gone. I can’t get an email address to Holman so I can request one and see if they’ll do a special order. But, I think thousands of people would order a super giant rainbow Bible if they were made available. I don’t mind paying for it. Sussie from Texas.
Hi Sussie, thanks so much for your comment! I agree I think they would sell more if there were more options for people and maybe more people would read the bible as well. ❤️🙏
Yes I agree i do have one that is large print and that in itself is huge but the study notes are small print! maybe it can be just the commentary because i never actually read the study bible i only use the study notes. This is why I want to get a commentary bible and I doubt they have those in large print either 😣
I have super giant print NASB bible. I love the size of the font! My *perfect* bible would be the SGP that is also interleaved, with journaling paper (instead of a super thin paper that ghosts easy). Yes, it would be an absolute BEAST of a Bible, but I would not care.
😂 I love that! That sounds very close to my dream bible. There’s a girl on youtube who has a GIAAAANT bible it’s probably like 10 lb lol. But it looks cool! Her name is How to faith a life- if you’re curious 😁
@@DejaDrewit Oh!! Another bonus of the super giant print Bibles -- if you are an avid notetaker in your Bible. If you have a SGP Bible, there are less words per page - so more space for notes for each verse. :) (I add pages to mine as needed!)
After reading KJV And NKJV for 23 years, I decided to listen to NLT beginning of this year, and I love it! is so easy to read, but I would always read my KJV, and advice other to do the same, I bought a Chronological NLT Bible to start January 1, 2025 I’m so exited to start! Blessings to all in JESUS name. 🤲🏼🤍🕊️
Thank you for sharing that! I have actually really been enjoying this bible and definitely appreciating the different translation of some verses that I overlooked in the past. It helped me see a new understanding of certain verses so I decided it is good to read different translations and doesn’t mean we have to stick to just 1, 🙏❤️ i will check out that bible thank you!
I haven't found the perfect Bible yet but then I'm not looking for a perfect Bible. I tend to collect different translations except for one. I do have Bibles that my parents had and are very well used that they're falling apart so I look at them with great care.
Oh I love that you have your parents bibles! I hope to pass mine to my son one day. I’ve really enjoyed this bible and it’s helping me see some verses in a new way, quite different from the NKJV i am used to. So I think it’s definitely good to have different translations. And since we will spend the rest of our lives reading the same book over and over I think that really helps make it more interesting and new in a way! Thanks!!
The “best” bible is open to what you define to be best. I do love the extra large print but for me the “best” bible for me is a study bible specifically the SPIRIT FILLED LIFE BIBLE It has all the notes and research that I need to do my studies. The one you have there has no notes or commentary. I do understand that you need the extra large print. I am happy you found one to help you read! Have you ever listened to the Bible on recording? That is awesome too especially a dramatic recording
Hi! Yea I do listen to it on the youversion and have several study bibles and apps I use for the commentary. :) i’m really loving this one so far and totally forgot it came with an app with extra stuff! I’m going to use that more and see how it goes! Edit: i’ve heard of the spirit filled bible and many good things about it. It’s on my wishlist! 😍
Soon as I saw the text, I knew it was a Tyndale Filament (I have two KJVs in the series). Tyndale uses 2K Denmark typefaces which are easier on the eyes.
I have Macular Degeneration so I need giant print. I think I have most translations out there in 16-17 point font. Unless you print your own I don't think there is a giant print with wide margin out there. Spiral Bible makes a 16 point KJV Gospels with note taking area but it is expensive and they never completed the New Testament. I find it funny that many publishers give you super giant print but they but the notes and helps in small print. If I need large print what use is the reference section in tiny print ? Hope you find your perfect Bible !
wow! where!? I found one but it wasn't as pretty lol I know some people pay to change the covers not sure I'd go that far though unless it had tons and tons of notes and needed a new cover from wear and tear.So far i've been loving this one and go back and forth with my NKJV to check the difference.
@DejaDrewit I'm not in USA, but it's published by Thomas Nelson. Anything in fake leather usually comes in a variety of cover colours or designs. Pretty sure it came up on Amazon Australia. Should definitely be on Amazon, or any Christian online store. Bibles are a lot cheaper in USA than in Australia.
Sis, watch out for those tabs. I ruined my favorite bible with those. They were too heavy and easily tore my pages and I had to eventually cut them all out to spare my bible. I was so upset. And I also have the super large print bible, a few of them. I'm a little bible obsessed. Some girls collect shoes, I collect bibles. lol
Oh no!! Thank you for that heads up!! I’ll definitely be careful with this one because I love it so much. I am the same way, I added 3 new bibles to my cart today 😂
@@DejaDrewit oh... then that's probably true... in the video it looks like the same font size as a couple of mine that are 14 pt... a 2pt difference in size would be hard to notice.. unless I saw it up close..
Hey Selina! I have readers in every room and every purse lol but it bothers me to have to wear them. It makes me feel blind when I can’t read without them 😭 I love it as well!!
When my eyes got so awful.... I did find a GIANT print NKJV.....saved me....and then I was able to have surgical corrections . This one is MUCH prettier!.
If I wasn't so scared of eye surgery I would definitely do it because it's not a good feeling seeing blurry. I just found the giant NKJV but I love the rose gold SO MUCH!! I had to make that sacrifice lol
hi! thanks for watching! Yes but I found the selection was very limited. All the pretty bibles with nice covers didn't come in giant print or the translation I wanted. It just makes me wonder why there aren't better options in giant print, tons of cool bibles with small print. I know it's a vanity thing but it helps some people want to read it :D I'll check out the CSB one thank you!
My perfect bible would be NLT large print, single column interleaved, but it doesnt exist unfortunately. Bible i actually write my notes in is esv double column interleaved, print is small but it has lots of room for notes but i dont actually read it because of a small print
Hey Anastasia! That’s actually my real name :) i really home one day we can custom order our dream bibles and choose every detail of it. That would be so amazing!!
@DejaDrewit love your channel ❤️ and yes that would be amazing 👏 I even wanted to write to crossway or tyndale or holman with my bible layout idea 🙈🤣 maybe one day 🤞. When you said that you wouldn't want to take this bible to church, why? Is it because of size or translation?
I have a hard time seeing print too. I wish it was a study Bible. All Bibles are a translation. Even KJV. I love your lighter color tabs. Will you make notes in this new Bible?
I like the ESV and finding a large print is easy but all of the covers are brown and black. I’m the same way I want my bible to look beautiful and be functional. Yes!!! Thank you!! They are all brown and black and I just personally don’t find that appealing! It got to the point where I said it’s either a nice cover and the translation I want because they don’t make both :/
Seeing people get excited over bibles instead of iPhones in this generation is amazing 😢❤
yes!! we should encourage our kids too because that addiction is REAL. There is hope!
I understand the joy of getting a new Bible too❤

On another note, I wish they would come out with a extra large print journaling Bible. Sadly, all large print journaling Bibles are only 9/9.5 font. I keep hope for one day lol.
That is a beautiful Bible I have had my eye on.❤
I agree! I've been loving this bible! We should start a petition for them to make one 🤣
@DejaDrewit the ESV journaling bible is great but it's 7.5 font and I have to use a magnifying glass 😂
I'm so glad you mentioned this. It's not really missing.❤
It's good to compare various translations to find the one you prefer. Each Bible has its own purposes.

Beautiful bible. I love your channel. Be blessed. Greetings from Germany, Claudia 🌸
Thank you so much! 🙏❤️
Thanks for sharing! It's so great to hear others feel the same way I do. (excited about a new Bible) I have not found the perfect one yet.
Thank you! 😍🙏❤️
Great Bible!! I have many many different versions, for when I study. I can understand your happiness!!!
Thank you! I’ve been loving it! And the app!
Yay! So happy for you!! I have not found the perfect Bible. But I think each Bible is perfect in its own way. However, I think we can make our Bibles perfect by personalizing them. I just found your channel today!
Hi Sarah, I agree for sure! I’ve been loving this one more than I expected! Thanks for watching!
This is such a great video! Thank you for sharing this great Bible 📖
You are so welcome! I love it so far!!
I'm so happy for you!!
Ooh nice! I’m glad you have a favorite bible! I’ve been loving this one❤️🙏
Hi! I totally understand your excitement about getting a new Bible in the mail. I share your excitement! I love buying more bibles. I have to try and curb myself because it’s overwhelming. But I love my bible collection which includes many different translations. God bless!
Haha yes!! I have a few more I want but trying not to buy right now. ❤️🙏
The Thrive Bible for women too! I just ordered one and found one of these NLT giant Bibles today!
ooh it's so pretty!!
I'll check Wonder bible out! edit: wow I just looked it up, it's an actual device! wow!
Thanks, just purchased that Bible from Amazon. Print size is perfect. Bought the tabs also. ❤
Aw thanks so much! You will love it!!
@@DejaDrewitI received my Bible! I do ❤️ it! Thanks again and God Bless. ✝️
I’m with you, the more I like the look and feel of a Bible, the more likelier I will spend more time in it! This one is beautiful! ❤
yes!! you get me!
@ yes this is true. You can never have too many! The app is awesome. How are you liking the Bible with the tabs?
❤ blessings
Sounds like we are on the same PAGE 😅❤️🙏 i’ll have to check out that Thompson chain???
@DejaDrewit yes ma'am, thompson chain reference bible, it's a type of Bible, not a translation, so you should be able to get a few different translations. It's a deep dive reference bible mostly used by pastors. I've never had one, thinking about it tho!
Dude yes! I just got my first Bible and I got this one as well!
Good choice!! I really love it!
You will love the filament app. I love that I have it for deep study, but the Bible has few notes when I just want to read.
I've been using and you're right! I actually also love their narration. : )
Hun iykyk....we totally understand the excitement and love of a new Bible. We care!❤
🙏❤️
I was told the perfect Bible translation is the one you would read. I would read the Message just as an easy reading Bible but my go tos are ESV, NASB, and CSB for in depth study and NLT for kids church teachings. Oh and Lexham Bible on Logos. My ideal translation would be as close to word for word translation with wide journaling margins. I love some of the word play that the Hebrew offers and learning about it from Bible Project Classroom has been beautiful.
Thank you so much!! I have to agree with you that’s a great point!! 🙏❤️
I understand your excitement 😊
🙏❤️
I absolutely love my NIV Study Bible
Thank you! I am definitely searching for some good study bibles :) ❤️
I am happy you found a giant print Bible! I use one and it really is important, I no longer associate Bible reading with headaches and frustration.
exactly! or not having your glasses and not being able to read.
Ooooh 👀 thank you!! 🙏
What a beautiful Bible!
it really is!!
Hi, Thanks for watching! I made a video on how I put tabs on this bible if you want to check it out!

❤️
I'm so excited for you ❤
🙏❤️🥰
As a 49 year old woman I have to agree with you!!
🙏💖😁
I have the giant print version and love it . I highly recommend it . I think the App is best on a tablet.
Thank you! I only used the app once I totally forgot about it!! Can’t wait to dive into it!
That's interesting I'll check that out thank you! I love Youversion! That's something I definitely wanted to try one day, I'll check it out!
Font.
Yes this giant print helps me read without glasses and makes me feel young again lol
I love the audio Bible as it light , portable, has a long lasting rechargeable battery, doesn’t require data or internet, and can be used with or without headphones. Therefore it can go anywhere in a purse or be used at bed. It is a great augmentation to a physical Bible. I have bought and given away several.
What a great idea, thanks so much for sharing! I had no idea that even existed.
I love the Chronological Bible which I have now. Unfortunately it’s NLT translation by Tyndall. But I also have the evidence Bible by Ray Comfort which I read along side it.
Oh I had the evidence bible! I never used it tho :/ so I gave it to my chuch. I am definitely interested in reading the bible chronologically one day ❤️🙏
@ it’s very interesting. I had to read Job before I could read exodus. Job was Esau’s grandson.
I understand ❤!
❤️🙏
My sister and my daughter both have "favorite" Bibles. They were surprised that none of my current Bibles are my favorite. (Mind, I am not rich and have a limited collection.)
I guess if I could make a favorite, it would have:
*The NKJV translstion
*A verse-by-verse layout (It's easier for me to read that way.)
*Double columns
* No red letters (Red letters are hard for me to focus on.)
*Cross references
*Larger font (I am middle aged.)
*Helps in the back (Concordance, maps, etc.)
*Nice paper
*A pretty cover
Hey Rachel I think you just described my ideal perfect bible! I love the red letters just to know it’s Jesus speaking but honestly it can be any other color I suppose. I never realized some people have a hard time reading the red and always wondered why some bibles don’t have it. That maybe explains it! Thanks for watching!
Hi. I Like The Picture Behind You. Nice.
thank you!
Yes!! You get me! 🤓that was my issue as well. First thing I look at is the cover and they’re all black or brown. Some us need a pretty cover lol
I’d love to have a ringed study bible. One like mine but binder style
You can have this done at staples!
Fonte is small
I like how you roll! :)
Hello! I thought you might want to know that I bought my very first Bible based on this video. Thank you.
Oh my gosh! Congratulations yey! I hope you enjoy it! Don’t forget the try the app! God bless ❤️🙏
Lovely Bible. My perfect Bible is the Living The Word Catholic Women's Bible RSV2CE. I love to journal and I love the articles that come in it.
Thanks for sharing that!! I love to journal as well!
@ awesome
Blessings.
Oh my goodness! I thought the Bible I bought in 2018 that’s a 14 point font in a 7x9 size was big. The Bible is so pretty. ❤🙏🏻
😆 yes it’s pretty large! 7x9 though sounds nice!! This one is pretty large. A personal size would be great but it would be suppper thick if they even made one. ❤️
@ The one I mentioned is very thick and heavy, but very easy to read. It’s the RSV version. I misspoke on the size, it’s 7x10.
@ i will have to look into it! I’ve only found 10.5 point in that “small” size thank you! This one in the video is 10.5x7.5 but feels massive for some reason lol. I have a 6x9 nkjv but it’s 10.5 point.
@ I also have an NIV Compact Bible that’s 12 points, very easy to read. It’s thick but lightweight. I can sent you a link for it if you want me to.
@ yes please! Thank you!! 🙏
Hi! thank you so much! I'll check them out!
This suddenly popped you! Thank you Jesus 😇
😍🙏
If there was a Bible that had all of that other info into one that is that large print we couldn’t lift it lol. It would have to be in several volumes
Yes for sure 😂 i thought about that. Or it can be split into OT and NT at least
Yes. That wold be great especially if it was NKJV and spiral bound
I love the NAS wide margin Bible by Steadfast bibles and KJV note- taking bible by Christian Art publisher
thank you for sharing!
Also have you tried using a page sized magnifying screen
No!! I only have a small bookmark size but can’t find it. Wow i will look for this thank you!
I hear you - my vision isn't what it used to be at 44.Still good, but it's not razor-sharp anymore.
I just wish they had giant print study bibles. Yes, I know it would be huge, but I would keep it on a desk.
Yes I agree i do have one that is large print and that in itself is huge but the study notes are small print! maybe it can be just the commentary because i never actually read the study bible i only use the study notes. This is why I want to get a commentary bible and I doubt they have those in large print either 😣
@DejaDrewit okay we are on the same page! Booo on the publishing companies!
@@DejaDrewit I've watched a lot of her stuff. I love her bible - but the print is too small. ;)
@ yes I agree!
I'll have to check out the KJV version. thanks!!
I agree! I have a giant print study bible (nlt application bible) and the comments are small lol. I thought the same thing!! Thank you! 🙏
I have vision issues too. I just looked it up, & the NKJV is available in a 16 point font as well.
wow!
I would like to find an ESV Super Giant print with Wide margin bible. Would that be a needle in a haystack or what? LOL
@@ethanpugh1234hedgehog it may just be! Lol!
I would like to get the English/hebrew bible.
Ooh yes!! I just discovered a hebrew/greek/english bible and it’s definitely on my list!
You can get a 16 font in any translation
whaaaaat how!? I couldn't find anything else on Amazon. is there another secret place I don't know about lol
My perfect Bible would be that print, study bible, and journaling bible all in one...
Yes!!! 🙌
Sister in Christ, place a black sheet under the page your reading. That should help with seeing through the page. Let me know if it works for you❤
Thank you Becaa I will try it!! Perfect that I just found an old black paper drawing pad the other day lol! 🙏❤️
I tried that it really hurt my eyes.
Iwould say that that new NLT you bought is like a 14 pt font.....
It says 16 on Amazon. Hopefully that’s accurate.
@@DejaDrewit oh... then that's probably true... in the video it looks like the same font size as a couple of mine that are 14 pt...
a 2pt difference in size would be hard to notice.. unless I saw it up close..
Try reader’s glasses my mom has this Bible she loves it .
Hey Selina! I have readers in every room and every purse lol but it bothers me to have to wear them. It makes me feel blind when I can’t read without them 😭 I love it as well!!
@ I’m so sorry I’m new to your channel didn’t realize you had readers . Prayers for healing in your eyes 👀
Have you seen where to purchase a KJV with 16 pts?
I've seen one on Amazon yes. KJV Super Giant Print Reference Bible
I have a giant print Galaxy inspired prayer journaling Bible. It’s an NLT with a 16pt font if I’m not mistaken/. It’s huge and easy to read !!!
Wow!! I’ll have to check it out! This one is 16 point also and I love it! Thank you!!
You know you can get just a giant print bible, in the NKJ. Have you looked at the CSB, in giant print.
hi! thanks for watching!
I'm 78 and have one the only thing that I don't like is it is heavy
oh wow! this one is pretty heavy as well so I keep it at home and bring a smaller one to church :)
There is also this one: KJV Large-Print Note-Taking Bible--soft leather-look, navy blue floral
Thanks! I’ll have to check it out! That may be a good option as well despite my struggle with that translation.
maybe you need to get the lenses in your eyes replaced?
Hi Kevin, not sure what you mean, I don’t have lenses in my eyes :) but I may consider contacts in the future.
no not at but i think i have tho its the woman study bible!
oooooh!!! thank you !! I'll have to check it out!
The perfect Bible for any age. The King James Version.
🙏 thank you for your message.
KJV is the only translation you should be reading. Do some research on the changes if you never have.
Will do thank you. Not everyone can understand it though :/
You will never find the perfect bible
😭
The perfect Bible is the KJV. Without doubt. Bibles get reprinted for one reason only. Money !
I could see that. What about the original greek / hebrew version. Sometimes, I wish i could read the original
The kjv is hard for some people to understand, all bibles are the best. It’s Gods words
I have a hard time seeing print too. I wish it was a study Bible.
All Bibles are a translation. Even KJV.
I love your lighter color tabs. Will you make notes in this new Bible?
Hardly anyone uses the archaic KJV anymore
I like the ESV and finding a large print is easy but all of the covers are brown and black. I’m the same way I want my bible to look beautiful and be functional. I want at least 12 point font for comfort. Definitely thick enough paper so ghosting isn’t a problem and a little margin space but it doesn’t have to be much. I also prefer Words of Christ in Red. I will keep searching for that perfect bible along with you.
Yes!!! Thank you!! They are all brown and black and I just personally don’t find that appealing! It got to the point where I said it’s either a nice cover and the translation I want because they don’t make both :/
