Now I am trying to decide how to accessorize it. All I have decided on so far is a Motowolf crossbar with compass, a H2C (Motowolf) phone holder, a Derazer headlight cover, a set of Gcraft rear spools, a set of Kitaco Seat bolts, a cheap bicycle drink holder, and a MOLLE bag for the front crossbar. I am still undecided on the rear rack and top case.
Samurai, Thanks for watching and the kind words. Action Honda is about as close as there is to a Cub House here. There isn't a coffee bar there, and the accessories aren't Gcraft, Kitaco or H2C, but they at least have walls full of accessories, and a lot of Hondas in the showroom and some displays. They are perhaps the only smaller dealer in Florida that only sells Hondas. Love Motorsports, the dealer closest to me, sells a lot of different brands, and is more focused on Side by Sides and ATVs instead of Honda motorcycles. They have very few Hondas and most of their sales are other brands and Side by Sides. Now I have two Monkeys 125s, two CT125s, and two Super Cub 125s. I realize that it is a long shot that you will be able to make it to Florida, but if you do, we will have plenty of bikes to ride. I hope your neck is better. I am almost deaf now, but still getting around ok.
I picked mine up today. Home in the pickup. Put 34 miles on it tonight, totally geeked, have not had a bike in about 5 years, likely my last one. What a dream machine considering the size and 125cc's.

I am waiting on a second 2023 Trail 125 to arrive, and I think that will be my last. I really enjoy my Monkeys. I have completed break-in on the black one, but am still a few hundred miles short of break in on the yellow one, so when I go riding that requires full speed running for 10 minutes or more, I ride the black one. I am still using the yellow one just to run errands around town where I can take it easy and keep the speed slower. Once I reach 600 miles on the yellow one, I will start making riding videos on it in the State Forests around me, all of which are 40 miles or so away and require fast running to get there.

The closest dealer to me, Love Motorsports got one back in January and I think someone had dibs on it, as it was sold on the day it showed up in their inventory, and I missed out on it. For the smaller Honda dealers in Florida is is hard to know when or if a particular model is due to ship or arrive. In what State do you live, and have you seen very many Monkeys in the dealers around you?

Hello, my friend. I am doing ok, but my hearing continues to get worse, and so it continues to be difficult to get the sound levels correct in my videos. I think I will be totally deaf soon. I don't generally talk in my videos, because I don't speak Thai or Japanese, or for that matter, Indonesian either. My UA-cam analytics say that I have viewers in Thailand and Japan, and so I generally keep quite so that they can enjoy the video more, and just listen to the sounds of the motorcycle or nature in the background while I am working on the motorcycles or riding them. I do try to make each video tell a story, with a beginning and an ending, with something interesting in between. I see many videos that I call "Talk and Rides". In those videos, the rider is talking the entire time while they are riding their motorcycle completely ruining the experience for the viewer. Sometimes they are just talking about what is on their mind or the scenery they are passing, or who knows what? LOL.. Some of those "Talk and Rides" have thousands of views and many more than most of mine, so it's clear that some people like that style of video, but I don't. My next step on the Yellow Monkey is to add the accessories to it. I think I will install almost the same accessories as I installed on the black Monkey. I have ordered a Derazer headlight cover, a Gcraft rear rack, and will install a Motowolf handlebar crossbar with compass, a MOLLE bag on the crossbar, a drink holder and a cell phone holder. I only have two of the Quro aluminum top cases. One is on the back of the black Monkey, and the other is on the back of the dark green Navi. I think I will remove the one on the Navi to put it on the yellow Monkey. I will then take the glossy red Prima top case that I removed from the Super Cub and paint it dark green, and put that box on the Navi. That will save me spending more money on aluminum top cases. The Derazer headlight cover and the Gcraft rack are on order from Thailand, so it will take me several weeks before I can start installing them on the yellow Monkey. Anna, Action Honda has the best OTD prices in the State, but they don't take deposits. The best you can do is get on their dibs lists. I think I have first dibs on a 2023 Trail 125, and am still waiting for the call that it has arrived. As far as I know, they still haven't received one.

BUT, we have the 2022 just the way we like it now and the 5270 miles on it is Mostly between 28-42 mph on these back roads up here, broke in like they should be.😎 Was on the waiting list in Tifton GA. And had forgot about it until they called, did it all on the phone 📞 and e-mail, P.O. They delivered it to our drive way, 5,100, but did the tax title & tag here in Florida for another 435**$ , not horrible, but Not good either. 🤷🏻♂️

The weather here has now turned hot as well, so I think it will be September before I make any long distance rides on it. Right now, it is just short rides in the evenings, gradually building up miles.
I never had a Trail 110, but before Honda announced that the CT125 was coming in 2021, I had hopes that an announcement was coming for the Cross Cub 110. I didn't even know that Honda was working on the trail 125 back then.

The following year, Honda imported the CT125 to the USA, and that was as close as I could get to a Cross Cub 110, so I bought a CT125, and then another one. I also discovered the Cub House dealers in Thailand, so my trips changed from going to Japan every winter to going to Thailand instead. So now I have an interest in both Japan and Thailand. I worry that my captions in Japanese and Thai are displayed on the screen for too long or too short a time, as I don't read either language. While I am not a Facebook member, when I go to those three Facebook links, I can still view much of their content, but I don't see any discussions about a mass ride starting at Action Honda one Saturday morning in the future. What do you see when you go to those three Facebook links in this video description? The Port Richey group does seem to post their regular meetups, but with very short notice. I think I will have to monitor their site and just show up to one of their rides to meet them. Port Richey is a long way to ride to, just for an evening ride though.

@@ronaldrose6885 Glad to hear we both feel the same way about Facebook. I did see the UA-cam video about a month ago about a bunch of Groms and Monkeys showing up one night at Ace. That is a long way for me to go for what looked like a motorcycle show, but it would probably be a good idea for me to drive over there one night with the van, just to make some contacts there. My eyesight is about as bad as my hearing, and night riding isn't much fun for me. I think going over in the van and spending the night in a motel and coming back the next day is a better plan for me. I did ask Joshua to try to see what is going on with the Port Richey group. I would prefer to email Cheryl Draga so maybe she will put her email address on her Facebook page. I think a couple of emails back and forth could set things up. We already have a meeting place Action Honda on a Saturday morning. Now all we need is a date and a route for the ride. That doesn't sound hard to set up, but it is best to get a consensus from the riders on the date and route. Let's be patient and see what develops over the next week or two. I have pretty much decided to configure the yellow Monkey, about the same as the black one.. A 2023 silver colored Derazer headlight surround, and a Quro top case on a reinforced Gcraft rear rack. I only have two of those top cases, and the other one is on my Navi, so I am going to take the one off the Navi to use on the yellow Monkey and put the glossy red Prima box that was on my TG50 on the Navi, after painting it as close to Ranger Green as I can get. All the accessories for the yellow Monkey are on order, but haven't shipped yet. I painted the top case that is going on the Navi today, and got a lot of Live Oak pollen and flowers in the paint.. LOL.. I'll have to cover a few bad spots with decals, and also figure out how to mimic the Viper Urban Camo graphics to make it look acceptable.

I love my Honda Monkey. I have a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic that no one says anything when I stop. But where ever I go on the Monkey people always look at it and ask me about it. They are just pure fun to ride and take me back to being a kid. For me it reminds me why I fell in love with motorcycles.

Eddie, I enjoyed your latest video where you conquer the Mud Bog and make it to the top of Everest.. Way above my skill level as usual, and a big accomplishment. My hearing continues to get worse, and now I am having trouble even telling if the engine in the car is running, or if the wheel bearings are failing. Feel free to use any of my video in yours, and if you want any of my raw footage let me know, and how to get it to you. I regret not buying you guys a Dax while I was in Chiang Mai, so I could ride it for a couple of days and then leave it with you. I think I told you before, but the hardest part of the ride in Chiang Mai was the return from the restaurant on the lake back to the hotel in the Old City. It was straight into the sun, and I was looking through old prescription sunglasses, and an older face shield, both of which added to the glare. I drove the whole way with one hand on the throttle, and the other hand blocking the sun. There were several times that I was close to saying that we needed to stop and wait a couple of hours before continuing to get the sun in a different position. Honda USA still hasn't announced the 2023 Trail 125, while Canada announced it (in red only) a month ago. My Canadian subs are now telling me that they are hearing from their dealers to expect theirs within the next two weeks. If the USA does get the 2023 and only in red, then I am thinking of buying all of the CT125 plastics and metal parts to make one of my red 2021s brown. As we know, the brown CT125 is faster than the red .. LOL. The most expensive parts are the metal parts.. the gas tank, the rear rack, trailing link, and the fork tubes. The color change is roughly $2200 in parts, plus several hundred dollars in shipping. In contrast, a color change on a Honda Navi is $50 in parts and free shipping, as you can pick up the three panels at your local Honda dealer.

My friend "Lightfoot" was a the hospital a few miles north of Action Honda, and I had a few hours to kill, while waiting for her, so I went to Action Honda just to say hi to Sonny and Steve. When I walked in the door, the Monkey was up front in the showroom, and had just arrived, and nobody had dibs on it, so I bought it on the spot. In Florida, you never know when a particular Honda will show up. They just show up, and I don't know when another one will come in. Love Honda had one two months ago, and it never made it to the showroom. It was already presold to someone who had dibs for about a year.
Hi Vaughn, Love the look of the new monkey, in particular the plaid seat. It’s a beauty. That dealership looks pretty cool, typical Honda quality. I put my monkey in as part exchange on a CB500x at the end of last year. Despite health stuff I still think I’ve got one or two last ‘big bike’ trips left in me. This summer I’m planning one trip down to Bavaria , The Alps and northern Italy and another for a couple of months to Scandinavia. In particular Finland as I have friends there. Warren, Action Honda is pretty unique in Florida, as they are a small dealer that only sells Hondas. There are large "Powerhouse Dealers" that only sell Hondas, and many smaller dealers that sell Hondas, and other brands. Love Motorsports, my closest dealer, sells Honda, Suzuki, Polaris and Yamaha water craft and they sell more ATVs and Side by Sides than Motorcycles and by a large amount. I think they sell 20 of them or more for every Honda motorcycle they sell. To make matters worse, Love just added Vespa, Motoguzzi, Aprilia and Piaggio, and those motorcycles now take up most of the showroom floor. If you look at their web site at: www.lovemotorsports.com/inventory/v1/ you can see how the mighty have fallen. I envy your trip to Bavaria and the Alps.. All I have seen of Europe is essentially the cities on the the ocean or the on Mediterranean or Black Sea. Probably 30 European and UK cities in all, and all by cruise ships for one day in each city. I visited the Crimea while it was still part of Ukraine, and especially enjoyed the topless beaches in Romania. LOL

I don't know what prices are like in California, but the price for a Monkey should be what is on the Honda Powersports web site, plus title and taxes. That means $4,249 + 200 Destination Charge, + 100 Destination Surcharge, plus state taxes (6% in Florida} plus title and registration fees (about $150 in Florida). Dealers here also add a "Dealer Fee" which we call a "Mystery Fee" The Mystery fee can be anywhere from $197 to more than $1000. I have heard that some States don't charge a Mystery Fee, if so, then the OTD price in those states would be a bit under $5,000 including $4,249 price +$200+$100+Taxes + $150 title and tag. The lowest OTD price I have seen in Florida is just under $5,200, while the highest will be at the "Powerhouse" dealers whose Mystery Fees will bring the OTD price up to about $6,100, which is about the same as your California dealer. You are right at about the maximum OTD in Florida, but people are paying it as those Powerhouse dealers continue to sell motorcycles, even though I don't buy from them. They always get the new models first, and I usually wait until the new models finally arrive at my smaller local dealer and I save about $800 on each, but have to wait a month or two to get one.

Love Motorsports, the dealer closest to me, sells a lot of different brands, and is more focused on Side by Sides and ATVs instead of Honda motorcycles. They have very few Hondas and most of their sales are other brands and Side by Sides. Now I have two Monkeys 125s, two CT125s, and two Super Cub 125s. I realize that it is a long shot that you will be able to make it to Florida, but if you do, we will have plenty of bikes to ride. I hope your neck is better. I am almost deaf now, but still getting around ok.

I picked mine up today. Home in the pickup. Put 34 miles on it tonight, totally geeked, have not had a bike in about 5 years, likely my last one. What a dream machine considering the size and 125cc's.

I am waiting on a second 2023 Trail 125 to arrive, and I think that will be my last. I really enjoy my Monkeys. I have completed break-in on the black one, but am still a few hundred miles short of break in on the yellow one, so when I go riding that requires full speed running for 10 minutes or more, I ride the black one. I am still using the yellow one just to run errands around town where I can take it easy and keep the speed slower. Once I reach 600 miles on the yellow one, I will start making riding videos on it in the State Forests around me, all of which are 40 miles or so away and require fast running to get there.

For the smaller Honda dealers in Florida is is hard to know when or if a particular model is due to ship or arrive. Hello, my friend. I am doing ok, but my hearing continues to get worse, and so it continues to be difficult to get the sound levels correct in my videos. I think I will be totally deaf soon. I don't generally talk in my videos, because I don't speak Thai or Japanese, or for that matter, Indonesian either. My UA-cam analytics say that I have viewers in Thailand and Japan, and so I generally keep quite so that they can enjoy the video more, and just listen to the sounds of the motorcycle or nature in the background while I am working on the motorcycles or riding them. I do try to make each video tell a story, with a beginning and an ending, with something interesting in between. I see many videos that I call "Talk and Rides". In those videos, the rider is talking the entire time while they are riding their motorcycle completely ruining the experience for the viewer. Sometimes they are just talking about what is on their mind or the scenery they are passing, or who knows what? LOL.. Some of those "Talk and Rides" have thousands of views and many more than most of mine, so it's clear that some people like that style of video, but I don't.
My next step on the Yellow Monkey is to add the accessories to it. I think I will install almost the same accessories as I installed on the black Monkey. I have ordered a Derazer headlight cover, a Gcraft rear rack, and will install a Motowolf handlebar crossbar with compass, a MOLLE bag on the crossbar, a drink holder and a cell phone holder. I only have two of the Quro aluminum top cases. One is on the back of the black Monkey, and the other is on the back of the dark green Navi. I think I will remove the one on the Navi to put it on the yellow Monkey. I will then take the glossy red Prima top case that I removed from the Super Cub and paint it dark green, and put that box on the Navi. That will save me spending more money on aluminum top cases. The Derazer headlight cover and the Gcraft rack are on order from Thailand, so it will take me several weeks before I can start installing them on the yellow Monkey. Anna, Action Honda has the best OTD prices in the State, but they don't take deposits. The best you can do is get on their dibs lists. I think I have first dibs on a 2023 Trail 125, and am still waiting for the call that it has arrived. As far as I know, they still haven't received one.

The weather here has now turned hot as well, so I think it will be September before I make any long distance rides on it. Right now, it is just short rides in the evenings, gradually building up miles.
I had a trail 110 back in the early 80's. loved that bike.
I never had a Trail 110, but before Honda announced that the CT125 was coming in 2021, I had hopes that an announcement was coming for the Cross Cub 110. I didn't even know that Honda was working on the trail 125 back then.

I would occasionally see an NS50F and saw many Gyros, Zoomers, and other scooters. On one trip to Japan about 4 years ago, I started noticing Cross Cub 110s and Super Cub 110s. I wanted both, but they weren't available in the USA, and they still aren't. However, in 2019, Honda Imported the Super Cub 125 to the USA. Since I couldn't get a Super Cub 110, I bought a Super Cub 125 and then a year later, I bought another Super Cub 125. The following year, Honda imported the CT125 to the USA, and that was as close as I could get to a Cross Cub 110, so I bought a CT125, and then another one. I also discovered the Cub House dealers in Thailand, so my trips changed from going to Japan every winter to going to Thailand instead. So now I have an interest in both Japan and Thailand. I worry that my captions in Japanese and Thai are displayed on the screen for too long or too short a time, as I don't read either language. While I am not a Facebook member, when I go to those three Facebook links, I can still view much of their content, but I don't see any discussions about a mass ride starting at Action Honda one Saturday morning in the future. What do you see when you go to those three Facebook links in this video description? The Port Richey group does seem to post their regular meetups, but with very short notice. I think I will have to monitor their site and just show up to one of their rides to meet them. Port Richey is a long way to ride to, just for an evening ride though.

@@ronaldrose6885 Glad to hear we both feel the same way about Facebook. I did see the UA-cam video about a month ago about a bunch of Groms and Monkeys showing up one night at Ace. That is a long way for me to go for what looked like a motorcycle show, but it would probably be a good idea for me to drive over there one night with the van, just to make some contacts there. My eyesight is about as bad as my hearing, and night riding isn't much fun for me. I think going over in the van and spending the night in a motel and coming back the next day is a better plan for me. I did ask Joshua to try to see what is going on with the Port Richey group. I would prefer to email Cheryl Draga so maybe she will put her email address on her Facebook page. I think a couple of emails back and forth could set things up. We already have a meeting place Action Honda on a Saturday morning. Now all we need is a date and a route for the ride. That doesn't sound hard to set up, but it is best to get a consensus from the riders on the date and route. Let's be patient and see what develops over the next week or two. I have pretty much decided to configure the yellow Monkey, about the same as the black one.. A 2023 silver colored Derazer headlight surround, and a Quro top case on a reinforced Gcraft rear rack. I only have two of those top cases, and the other one is on my Navi, so I am going to take the one off the Navi to use on the yellow Monkey and put the glossy red Prima box that was on my TG50 on the Navi, after painting it as close to Ranger Green as I can get. All the accessories for the yellow Monkey are on order, but haven't shipped yet. I painted the top case that is going on the Navi today, and got a lot of Live Oak pollen and flowers in the paint.. LOL.. I'll have to cover a few bad spots with decals, and also figure out how to mimic the Viper Urban Camo graphics to make it look acceptable.

I love my Honda Monkey. I have a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic that no one says anything when I stop. But where ever I go on the Monkey people always look at it and ask me about it. They are just pure fun to ride and take me back to being a kid. For me it reminds me why I fell in love with motorcycles.

My hearing continues to get worse, and now I am having trouble even telling if the engine in the car is running, or if the wheel bearings are failing. I regret not buying you guys a Dax while I was in Chiang Mai, so I could ride it for a couple of days and then leave it with you. I think I told you before, but the hardest part of the ride in Chiang Mai was the return from the restaurant on the lake back to the hotel in the Old City. It was straight into the sun, and I was looking through old prescription sunglasses, and an older face shield, both of which added to the glare. I drove the whole way with one hand on the throttle, and the other hand blocking the sun. There were several times that I was close to saying that we needed to stop and wait a couple of hours before continuing to get the sun in a different position.
Honda USA still hasn't announced the 2023 Trail 125, while Canada announced it (in red only) a month ago. My Canadian subs are now telling me that they are hearing from their dealers to expect theirs within the next two weeks. If the USA does get the 2023 and only in red, then I am thinking of buying all of the CT125 plastics and metal parts to make one of my red 2021s brown. As we know, the brown CT125 is faster than the red .. LOL. The most expensive parts are the metal parts.. the gas tank, the rear rack, trailing link, and the fork tubes. The color change is roughly $2200 in parts, plus several hundred dollars in shipping. In contrast, a color change on a Honda Navi is $50 in parts and free shipping, as you can pick up the three panels at your local Honda dealer.

My friend "Lightfoot" was a the hospital a few miles north of Action Honda, and I had a few hours to kill, while waiting for her, so I went to Action Honda just to say hi to Sonny and Steve. When I walked in the door, the Monkey was up front in the showroom, and had just arrived, and nobody had dibs on it, so I bought it on the spot. In Florida, you never know when a particular Honda will show up. They just show up, and I don't know when another one will come in. Love Honda had one two months ago, and it never made it to the showroom. It was already presold to someone who had dibs for about a year.

I put my monkey in as part exchange on a CB500x at the end of last year. Despite health stuff I still think I’ve got one or two last ‘big bike’ trips left in me.
This summer I’m planning one trip down to Bavaria , The Alps and northern Italy and another for a couple of months to Scandinavia. In particular Finland as I have friends there.

Warren, Action Honda is pretty unique in Florida, as they are a small dealer that only sells Hondas. There are large "Powerhouse Dealers" that only sell Hondas, and many smaller dealers that sell Hondas, and other brands. Love Motorsports, my closest dealer, sells Honda, Suzuki, Polaris and Yamaha water craft and they sell more ATVs and Side by Sides than Motorcycles and by a large amount. I think they sell 20 of them or more for every Honda motorcycle they sell. To make matters worse, Love just added Vespa, Motoguzzi, Aprilia and Piaggio, and those motorcycles now take up most of the showroom floor. If you look at their web site at:

I envy your trip to Bavaria and the Alps.. All I have seen of Europe is essentially the cities on the the ocean or the on Mediterranean or Black Sea. Probably 30 European and UK cities in all, and all by cruise ships for one day in each city. I visited the Crimea while it was still part of Ukraine, and especially enjoyed the topless beaches in Romania. LOL

@jasmine7576, ご視聴とコメントをありがとうございます。大変ありがたく思います。このバンは2013年型のフォード トランジット コネクトです。ハイルーフ モデルは2010年から2013年まで米国でのみ販売されていました。このバンはトルコのフォード工場で製造され、米国に来る前に英国で多くが販売されました。2013年以降、トランジット コネクトはスペインで製造されましたが、ハイルーフ モデルはありませんでした。トランジット コネクトは2023年に製造中止となり、現在は入手できません。ハイルーフ モデルは、ミラーを取り外すことなく、どんな小さなホンダ車でも収まるので素晴らしいです。

Hi, I'm based in SoCal, wondering what you think about a 2023 monkey otd for $6,100? I saw on another channel that in CA these go for that amount on average. I'm tempted to buy but it is quite high in markups for a minibike

I don't know what prices are like in California, but the price for a Monkey should be what is on the Honda Powersports web site, plus title and taxes. That means $4,249 + 200 Destination Charge, + 100 Destination Surcharge, plus state taxes (6% in Florida} plus title and registration fees (about $150 in Florida). Dealers here also add a "Dealer Fee" which we call a "Mystery Fee" The Mystery fee can be anywhere from $197 to more than $1000. I have heard that some States don't charge a Mystery Fee, if so, then the OTD price in those states would be a bit under $5,000 including $4,249 price +$200+$100+Taxes + $150 title and tag. The lowest OTD price I have seen in Florida is just under $5,200, while the highest will be at the "Powerhouse" dealers whose Mystery Fees will bring the OTD price up to about $6,100, which is about the same as your California dealer. You are right at about the maximum OTD in Florida, but people are paying it as those Powerhouse dealers continue to sell motorcycles, even though I don't buy from them. They always get the new models first, and I usually wait until the new models finally arrive at my smaller local dealer and I save about $800 on each, but have to wait a month or two to get one.

After hearing your plans for the build, I can honestly say it would be way off topic for a video on this channel. The theme here is "Old and Slow". LOL.. We keep the engines and drivetrains stock Honda, even down to the sprockets, chains and shocks. The videos here are about slow rides, viewing nature while making coffee or a meal by a lake, and adding accessories to our stock Hondas. However, it does sound like something that Joshua, the man I met in this Monkey video would be interested in. @@DanceJeff-qi8ui I have met them, and Anton at Beezdeals knows them well. I think Mooyong at Zeus will mail or ship most anything you want directly as he ships internationally right from his shop. I am not sure if the guys at K-Speed ship internationally directly. I know they sell a lot of parts through distributers who do ship internationally. Here are the links.
