@MancingTanago, Thanks for the encouragement. Old age is starting to take over and I am loosing my enthusiasm. I should probably try to go fishing today. In my next video, I install all the accessories on the red Dax e, and unfortunately, it will be a long video. I already finished the video and will put it on UA-cam next week. After I post that video, I will be out of ideas and also out of energy. Maybe fishing will revive my spirits...

The light helmet for the slower speed of the Dax e vs. a heavy helmet for the Trail 125 and lightness of the bike itself, make the Dax e better in the humidity. I hadn't thought about getting a Zoomer e, but was starting to look into getting a Cub e, but probably won't. The biggest turn off on the Super Cub 125 is the Smartkey system, and while the Zoomer e doesn't actually use the Super Cub 125 Smartkey system, it looks too similar to me with the pushbutton key fob, that I didn't investigate it more. I simply decided that I didn't want one because of the key system, even though I don't understand how it really works. It might have turned out to be ok. The Cub e uses the same card system as the Dax e, and so far, that works very well. I was planning to order a Cub e, but now my energy is fading to buy anything more at this point.

I organized that central Florida meet last fall to Richloam, and a new Florida gung ho 2023 Trail 125 rider was going to organize another ride for April, but he dropped the ball.. turned out to be all talk but no action. My body is willing, but my my mind is shot. It is impossible for me to organize anything now. I couldn't even organize a ride around the block now. I took a long ride on the red Dax e today, and decided that I might have enough brain power left to put the Dax e in the van and take it up to the Florida Barge canal one early morning in a couple of weeks before the day get's too hot. Have a look at this video from Motocheez were he rides the bike path at the canal on eBikes with his wife. I think it would make a good Dax e video, following the same route, with fishing and lunch from one of the trailside gazebos: ua-cam.com/video/8ZD85RyPYyw/v-deo.html

I did make a mistake and accidentally ordered a larger top case. The red top case looks the same but is an inch longer and an inch taller, and doesn't fit the rear rack correctly.

Hi, a friend has 3 of these and he has had all 3 encounter problems (with the NFC Module) and they would not run after that (until he replaced it) I believe its the thing that detects the key/card. Have you had any issues Thanks so much ! (love the vids ! )

I am also very careful not to loose the spare NFC card, as I have no clue how to go about replacing a lost one. Based on the videos on your channel, I assume you live in California. I have been assuming that to get parts, I would have to go to Manila in the Philippines.. The eBike dealers sell Dax e, Cub e, Zoomer e and I assume that they can get parts, but so far, none of them will ship outside of the Philippines. I think I had better start looking for a parts place for Dax e. I found the battery at Popcycle, but they won't ship it: popcycleebikecenter.com/products/honda-dax-battery?_pos=1&_sid=757b69129&_ss=r I haven't even translated the wiring diagram for the Dax e, but am doing it right now after seeing your comment. After the translation, I will see if I can spot the NFC module and find a part# for it. I assume your friend has found a parts supplier, so I will also start looking for a Dax e parts supplier that will ship to the USA. Thanks again for your comment.

@Robinsbro17, Thanks for watching and your comment. After riding the Dax e, it is difficult to go back the Motocompactos. The pneumatic tires on the Dax e make a huge difference, and the higher top speed is also nice. On the downside, the Dax e weighs about three times as much as the Motocompacto, and you can fold up the Dax e. My problem is that I like to have mirrors and a phone holder on both, and when you do that to a Motocompacto, it doesn't fold up any longer. That puts the Motocompactos down on the list when I choose what to ride each day.

Se você assistir ao final do vídeo, verá que a velocidade máxima no teste foi de 28 mph = 45 km/h, conforme medido pelo aplicativo GPS no meu telefone. Se você assistir ao vídeo de acompanhamento, onde o telefone é montado no suporte do telefone, terá uma ideia melhor do desempenho.
