Winds are starting to die down now, but we had 7 inches of rain so far, with more on the way all day today. The only real threat remaining here is for tornados, so far, no warnings near me.

@misternewt, I don't know of any other place to get this kit with the Cub House graphics on it, other than from Cub House itself or Beezdeals. Shipping is going to be high either way. You may be able to get the yellow bags and other parts from StreamTrail in Tokyo, but they won't have the logos, and shipping costs will be comparable. When I buy parts directly from Chinese vendors, shipping costs are also very high and the parts arrive via UPS, FEDEX, DHL or EMS. Somehow AliExpress has figured out how to ship items from China with extremely low shipping costs. I think AliExpress must have it's own logistics operation, similar to Amazon. Products from China also sell on eBay with very low shipping costs, and I don't know how they have solved the shipping cost problems, but they have. They clearly don't use FEDEX, DHL, or any of the big international shipping companies. I don't think any of the vendors in Thailand or Japan have solved the problem, so their shipping costs to the US are similar to shipping from Australia, Europe, or most anywhere now. Costs to ship from the USA to Thailand are comparable to the cost of the reverse as well.

I have two reds, two greens, and was planning to have two yellows as well.. one yellow for the Military Campster and the second for the "Fuel Your Wanderlust". Now I am not sure, as I am almost too frail now to ride a Trail 125. They are starting feel heavy when stopped. I had trouble dismounting from one of the Monkeys last week. I decided that I might have to give up riding the Monkeys or take the top cases off so that I can swing my leg over the back of them.. neither option is good..

@gustwowheeling7337, Gus, It seems like my riding days are winding down. I got home from one of my evening rides on a Honda Monkey 125 last week, and found that I was unable to dismount it. I couldn't get my right leg back over the seat. I thought at the time, I'll either have to stop riding the Monkeys, or remove the top cases.. neither are acceptable options.

Sorry to hear that Vaughn. Well you might have to ride something else from your fleet that can get on and off from. I really enjoy watching your videos I hope your legs feel better soon. Ride safe sir.

@MotoCheez, Thanks.. surprisingly, the accessories forwarder I was using has suddenly shut down as have all the other accessory forwarding web sites at the same time. I was lucky to get the accessories when I did. Right now, all of the fifty or more reports on various web sites I have seen about the Dax 125 coming to the USA have a single source, and that is the California Air Resources Board (CARB) filing. There has been no announcement from Honda or even a hint about it from Honda. I already have two on order at my local Honda dealers just in case though... @747fa, Thanks for watching.. prices here on the fast-food drive in windows have doubled in the past three years. Most now feature "Bundles" with a burger, fries and a fountain drink, and a bundle is about $10, and perhaps twice that in California. A can of Diet Sams at Walmart is still about 40 cents when bought by the case, and a fountain drink at a drive-through is now about $3. My first job was working at McDonalds when I was 16 years old. Hamburgers were 15 cents, fries were 12 cents and a milk shake was 20 cents, so the ad was "For 47 cents you get a three-course meal". I will try to do a Monkey riding video soon. The Trail 125s are starting to get to heavy for me to do much trail riding with them any longer.

@Vintage_Garage Yeah, burger meal or "bundle" prices have gone up here too. I tend to feel a lot of companies are taking advantage of the inflation situation here in my country to raise their prices which, of course, contributes further to inflation. Anyway, look after yourself and if or when you can put out one of those videos I'll be watching. 👍

@danielpredsox, Daniel, as of November last year, Florida in general allows e-Bike to ride anywhere a bicycle can ride subject to local exceptions. The local exceptions are pretty vague. I am pretty sure there would be places in Orlando where you can't ride on the sidewalks. Around me, very few people use the sidewalks and so riding on them hasn't been a problem so far. The biggest risk on the sidewalks is that many have a vertical six-inch curb between the sidewalk and the road, and and posts with a railing on the other side, giving you a pretty narrow path. It would be a disaster to either fall off the curb, or snag on the posts while riding. Also, you don't need a drivers license or license plate to ride an eBike here. Fast food prices are now out of control, and I don't think they will ever come down. All drive-throughs feature "Bundles" now on their menu pictures, and it is difficult to find prices of single items on their menus. As I understand it California prices are even more tough with Burger King bundles (sandwich, side, and drink) approaching $20. A single can of Diet Sams when bought in a 24 pack case is still around 40 cents, while a fountain drink at a fast food drive though is pretty much about $3. I didn't notice that boot on the trailer in front of the Panera Bread, so I went back to look at the video, and I see what you mean. I think it is an anti-theft device by the owner of the trailer, but I am not sure. When I moved to this neighborhood 15 years ago, the only business at the corner was a Circle-K gas station. I was the first customer at the Walmart when it opened about 10-12 years ago, then McDonalds was next, then very little until the past three years, and the explosion of new construction this year is related to the Suncoast Parkway expansion. The Suncoast Parkway is a direct route to the Tampa airport and Tampa.

@giovanny4316, I really don't feel much vibration in the seat or pegs on any of my Trail 125s, but do sometimes feet slight front tire bounce and certain speeds on all of them. The bounce is noticeable in some of my videos taken from the chest camera. Another way of saying it is that I feel the same vibrations in the pegs on the Trails, Monkeys, and the Super Cub floor, so I think the slight vibrations I feel are normal, and I don't even think about it. I typically ride at about 45 mph, and really don't see any increased vibration up to flat out.

@@Vintage_Garage I have an appointment to my local dealer on Saturday, I hope is nothing serious, some people say it’s probably the rear wheel or engine mount bolt.

I have one on order at my local Honda dealer, but Honda still hasn't officially announced the price or the delivery schedule so the rumors are just that at this point.

@gustwowheeling7337, Gus, thanks. The color match isn't really that great though. The red on the Dax e has a lot of metallic sparkle in it that I couldn't add, and has a bit more blue in it. It is most noticeable in the front fender which almost has a metallic purple tinge to it. About all I could do is get the shade close to right. By the way, BuyEChina seems to have bellied up and I haven't been able to find an alternative source for Dax e parts so that I can get the smaller rear top case the size of the one on the green Dax e.

Thanks for the good wishes. My old age skin is very thin and if I brush my arm against anything, the skin will tear and there will be a little bleeding. It always heals in a day or two. My spirits are still low though. I haven't re-sent your no-knot eyelets, but I will, in a small box or padded envelope with a customs form. I think the first ones didn't arrive because I didn't fill out the customs forms for Indonesia. The value of the eyelets should be less than $3 US in total, about 48,410 Rupiah. I am still watching your videos, but haven't yet commented on them. The last two were both great as have all of them been. I have been driving "Lightfoot" to her cancer treatments, and it is becoming harder and harder for me to concentrate on even small tasks. I am not sure if I will be making any more UA-cam videos. I will as soon as my spirits return. My health is good, but my mind is weak.

@@Vintage_Garage I always hope and pray that you are always healthy and stay enthusiastic. I am not very good at motivating someone because I have no knowledge of psychology. To keep you motivated, maybe you can try attending a community in your city and interact with them. I think you should stay enthusiastic because many are waiting for the results of your content work. I was so worried that the Kitaco camo graphics wouldn't look good, that I bought a complete set of Honda stickers, and then also decided to get all four yellow frame panels with the original stickers already on them as well. I was planning that worst case, I could switch the frame panels back to original, but after installing the Kitaco graphics, I decided that I liked them, so now I have four yellow panels I may never use.. LOL.. I am not sure, but to me the Banana Yellow on the Monkey looks a bit more orange than the Turmeric Yellow on the Trail 125.

My 2024 yellow Honda Trail 125 did finally arrive, and now I wonder if I will have enough energy to accessorize a Honda Dax 125 when it arrives in the USA in 2025. It is tough taking care of loved ones who are sick.. hang in there. Thanks for pointing out your UA-cam shorts. The Shorts format is such that they are best viewed on a smart phone, and I watch UA-cam through a Roku big screen TV in wide format, so I never gave watching shorts a chance. The light helmet for the slower speed of the Dax e vs. a heavy helmet for the Trail 125 and lightness of the bike itself, make the Dax e better in the humidity. I hadn't thought about getting a Zoomer e, but was starting to look into getting a Cub e, but probably won't. The biggest turn off on the Super Cub 125 is the Smartkey system, and while the Zoomer e doesn't actually use the Super Cub 125 Smartkey system, it looks too similar to me with the pushbutton key fob, that I didn't investigate it more. I simply decided that I didn't want one because of the key system, even though I don't understand how it really works. It might have turned out to be ok. The Cub e uses the same card system as the Dax e, and so far, that works very well. I was planning to order a Cub e, but now my energy is fading to buy anything more at this point.

I organized that central Florida meet last fall to Richloam, and a new Florida gung ho 2023 Trail 125 rider was going to organize another ride for April, but he dropped the ball.. turned out to be all talk but no action. My body is willing, but my my mind is shot. It is impossible for me to organize anything now. I couldn't even organize a ride around the block now. I took a long ride on the red Dax e today, and decided that I might have enough brain power left to put the Dax e in the van and take it up to the Florida Barge canal one early morning in a couple of weeks before the day get's too hot. Have a look at this video from Motocheez were he rides the bike path at the canal on eBikes with his wife. I think it would make a good Dax e video, following the same route, with fishing and lunch from one of the trailside gazebos: ua-cam.com/video/8ZD85RyPYyw/v-deo.html

In my next video, I install all the accessories on the red Dax e, and unfortunately, it will be a long video. I already finished the video and will put it on UA-cam next week. After I post that video, I will be out of ideas and also out of energy. Maybe fishing will revive my spirits...

I did make a mistake and accidentally ordered a larger top case. The red top case looks the same but is an inch longer and an inch taller, and doesn't fit the rear rack correctly.

@Robinsbro17, Thanks for watching and your comment. After riding the Dax e, it is difficult to go back the Motocompactos. The pneumatic tires on the Dax e make a huge difference, and the higher top speed is also nice. On the downside, the Dax e weighs about three times as much as the Motocompacto, and you can fold up the Dax e. My problem is that I like to have mirrors and a phone holder on both, and when you do that to a Motocompacto, it doesn't fold up any longer. That puts the Motocompactos down on the list when I choose what to ride each day.
