This is a MASTERPIECE. This will go into the beauty YT history books for years. This is such a well organized, beautifully detailed, and most importantly authentic commentary. Nikk, girl, you are literally officially my FAVORITE youtube content creator! The effort you had to have put into not only finding all the foundation in all the different drugstores, but putting your own cash down to buy them, BRAVO my love! You are on a totally different playing field than anyone on here and i LOVE Tati…I’ve been watching her for years, but I have now watched EVERY video you’ve ever made and in each i’m always amazed at how grounded, well informed and all around amazing you are! i always walk away with more knowledge than i came in with and have learned so many tips/tricks from an actual professional. I just want to say that you are leveling up and up and I also noticed you’re comfort level from just a year ago to now is so much more confident but not in the least bit superior in attitude. Again, such a pleasure to watch and you’re so sweet, like just adorable and i know i’m far from the only person watching you that feels that instant connection with you. I wish SO SO badly I didn’t work on Sunday so i could watch your live video and give you some money because you’ve taught me so much! You’re a GEM! You check every box of what i’m looking for in content, personality, relatability and i totally trust your opinion and recommendations! I hope you keep it up and know you will because i know your schedule is super tight yet you make time to still keep us entertained while providing solid tips/tricks/info that’s super helpful. i just want you to know it does not go unappreciated! You’ve got a great fan base that’s devoted and it’s for so many reasons(all reasons listed above). We have nothing but respect for you and it’s not just because you’re a professional makeup artist….you’re just straight up honest and don’t hold back but still are such a beautiful person inside and out! As far as i’m concerned, you’ve got a loyal (i don’t want to use the word “fan” because that feels fake and not accurate) viewer who cannot wait for your next video! Keep it up cause you’re crushing it! I still am BEGGING you for a brow tutorial because your brows always look so on point and brows literally change the way all your other makeup looks in the end and are such a focal point of the face so please consider it!! Love what you’re doing and i love that you appreciate the people who take time out to watch so it’s a two way street…we love watching you and we feel you’re love for us watching! there is no entitlement in you and you’re just so real and down to earth. i think i can speak for so many of us when i say you’re like a friend we all wish we had. Again, because it’s so true, beautiful inside and out!
    XOXO!

Hi Nikki! I hope you are doing well! You are my favorite Makeup Artist and I love your honesty, and your tutorials and product reviews are the best ever. So, talking about drugstore products, absolutely hate most Covergirl products. That disgusting foundation was one of the only foundations available when I was a teen. It smells like Noxema to me. I call it pancake batter. I still will not spend a cent on Covergirl products at all. 90% of the products are horrible sadly. I have learnt, by purchasing makeup products, drugstore now are inly a few dollars or close in price to higher end products, that you are getting what you pay for the majority of the time. I have wasted so much money trying drugstore itens, that a good portion are not too great, so I will pay the few extra dollars or many extra dollars to buy items to get a high quality item, by professionals, in clean labs etc.. ❤❤

I agree that the regular prices are higher than other “drugstores”, I think that if you have a location near you that has a Beauty Consultant it is worth shopping there for your makeup because we are trained. Your observation that drugstore foundations always skew to the warm/yellow side is spot on. I’m very fair with a rosy undertone, I definitely struggle with finding foundation that works, especially drugstore. L’Oréal True Match has the best range I think and can use the C.05 color. When I first started wearing makeup (in the 1970’s! Yikes!) everything was very warm and medium was the fair color. I would mix in pure white pigment to try to lighten it. I remember finally finding Prescriptives foundation that had a color Camelia Rose that was a perfect match. So sad when Estée Lauder killed the Prescriptives brand.
