Ever thrown off balance? I'm curious if there's more people with the same thing... What do you do with it?

    • @d.b.cooper5775

I think you should just ignore them and let it go. Only negative people will leave negative feedback, a positive person will always find something positive to say. Don't let them pass that negativity onto you, look at the good comments and focus on those. Your audio and video quality are great and i'm sure you know that so just keeping doing what you enjoy and stay positive.

Whenever I see a video by a new UA-camr, I try to be helpful - but I can't control how the message is received, either. It might be easier for you to just "be your own critic" for a period of time, and not even read the comments for several posted videos. That's not easy, but it will help with your inner strength. Then, after you have built some confidence by only letting yourself criticize, you can read other helpful comments. As others have already pointed out, it's easy to separate comments from reasonable people from comments by trolls or ne'er-do-wells. Good luck! Stay strong!

Brother, don’t let random internet people trigger your inner critic and self doubt. From a fellow producer.. You are doing an amazing job and your videos are excellent. Keep going! We almost have the same exact setup

Hey man, please keep doing these videos. I like the fact that you talk about your doubts. I think that a lot of artists are dealing with that, it's definitely something that I recognize. When you have put so much energy into something it is hard to hear these things. And online critisism can sometimes hit hard, especially since nuance is hard to convey in text. Hopefully you can use it to grow as an artist.

Thx man! I actually paused making these kind of video's. I just started nursing-school and that's a LOT! And making them is very labour intensive. Maybe Ill do another when there's more time. But making these video's helped, comments from people who felt supported by the content too!

You seem like a dealt genuine guy with a passion for music and synths! The Bass Station 2 is my only synth I struggle with, but that has started to change. Your video has helped immensely. Keep up the good work! 😎👍🎹

Thanks a lot for this video! Your content is awesome, your jams are always a pleasure to hear. Starting something new, like talking more in videos, always comes with a learning curve - glad you're tackling that, I'm looking forward to more videos where you show things!
The BS2 part, very insightful. I particularly like the "use sub oscillator as a backup plan for more oomph" idea!
And I see you have the Ctrl-V sticker overlay, too! Very useful indeed!

Dude you definitely have to make videos, you have something to say from heart wich is also connected to music. I bet many people in our situation can relate to this, its the third or fifth video I see and everytime you brought me some worthy. Im an undiagnosed Asperger by the way :) and I spent too much time and effort in my hobby last years, without getting satisfied, sometimes it is really more depressing me and I should look on my life again. I bet you can see this struggle. But I just wanted to say, keep up combining those mental and musical topics - at least for me, its fire!

Dear Luctae, thanks for this video. Talking about a topic like dealing with rough times is universal, everybody has to face tough things in (techno)life. It shows that you have guts and honesty, real great how you reflect and it shows character. And, I also have to deal with simular stuff. In the end the love for music and being creative will conquer. And ..... great info about the BS2 ! What a sound ! In the end your track is also a nice gift for the ears ..... Keep on going mate. Warm greetz K@Z

Subbed and looking forward to more of your videos. As far as being throw off, I think it happens to everyone. Your response is great I think -- just note that's what's happening, carry on, and learn from whatever you can. You already have great filming, great sound, great talk! Perseverence is so powerful! Whatever you think is lacking will naturally appear with experience. Best wishes to you.

Kudos for putting yourself vulnerable. Remember that this is the only way to grow, making mistakes and embrace being vulnerable. You will improve your videos the same way as you keep improving your music production. You didn't stop producing to get where you are ;). If feedback or comments are not constructive, let it go, that means that the other end doesn't have the capacity to grow, not your problem.

      @LuctaeMusic  2 роки тому +1

Thx man!

      @@LuctaeMusic klopt helemaal.
      (Mijn eigen track gemaakt.)!
