The woman switched her rifle from safe to single shot then when the suspect was arrested she switched it to fully auto instead of back to safe. I thought it was funny that they’d try make it a point that she didn’t have to shoot a kid by switching it back to safe but they got it wrong.
@@steve4718 When she selects semi auto from the safe position she has the push the fire select forward. In order to go back to safe she’d have to pull it back towards her but instead pushes it forward again and selects fully automatic.

A Two-men entry team did a blind breach without knowing who’s inside and what the house looks like inside. Entire situation resolved in 10 min without negotiator. SWAT team has pistol caliber carbine mixed in with a bunch of AR. And the female marksman switched her gun to full auto in the end. What a clusterfuck of a show. Apparently no one on the film crew bothered to do a bit of research. Inaccurate representation of police tactics of these shows would harm the real life police, as they give the public wrong impression on police capabilities.

I feel like this was a nod to this happening in real life. It was literally this story with a few changes, in Florida a 12 year old boy and a 14 year old girl ran away from their group home, found guns in a house they broke into, and shot at cops. The boy came out willingly and wasn't injured while the girl came out and pointed a shotgun as the officers so she was shot and taken into custody to heal up and face charges. The second this scene started playing it immediately made me think of this

They have probably already been briefed on the generalities of the call. When they arrive, they get the specifics from the cops already on the scene and witnesses.

The teens broke into that house because the girl wanted to steal stuff, but the boy wasn't that sure; they found the gun and the girl got excited and when the police showed up she started to shoot them, so the police called SWAT. They later found out more guns inside the house and found out the owner was planing an mass shooting and the rest of the episode was about finding the guy and arrest him before he could hurt anybody.

Thats actually a common way to mount them when using night vision. It looks pretty normal on some rifles but i assume its just because the 416s they use are very short and the MPXs are usually much hotter at the front end then at the back of the rail 👌🏻
