A ballistic shield room entry would be used to extract her. Also a flashbang *may* be thrown inside if loud explosions are heard.. maybe also tear gas.

It's also one of the most unrealistic shows out there in terms of policing. Lets go through the many mistakes made here 1:The female SWAT officer had both hands on her gun but was somehow able to push her PTT on her chest (also her stick wasn't extended which I don't know how realistic that is) 2:The laser on Hondo's rail looks extremely oversized and it looks like its blocking half the ACOG (Also I don't know why he has an ACOG on his rifle for CQB but whatever) This seems like one of the better situations but this show is usually super over the top

I don't think the real life SWAT teams would not shoot immediately when they see a gun pointed at them, even when the gun that pointed at them is actually a child.
Former police officer here. You're right though, she pointed that handgun directly at the officers. They would've shot her, as she posed a threat of serious bodily harm to everyone in and around that house. Best to eliminate the threat to preserve the safety of the public. Would've been a justified shooting.
