I originally replaced my Aqua Flo-Master hot tub pump when I tried to turn it on and it was humming, but not moving any water. I changed out the old 230v two speed pump with a similar Aqua-Flo XP2 hot water pump. Then, after doing some work on another part in the hot tub, the new hot tub pump wet end started leaking water! I had to fix that before I could address the other hot tub part because it had a huge crack.

After doing some work on my Gecko S-Class control panel for my Garden Leisure spa, I turned my hot tub on, and my pump must have developed some water hammer or cavitation issue, which created a huge crack and leak in the wet end of the pump. Like the spa pack, these can also be used in some Balboa systems, and can act as a seal replacement for the front end. I bought a replacement wet end for about $100, and I will show you how to replace that in this video. It now works!
