  • My old S Class Gecko hot tub control panel wasn't letting the water come up to temperature and stay hot, and I had already replaced all the sensors, so they were all brand new. I had also installed the 230v pump motor and recently did a wet end replacement. The heater would heat up, but the electrical controller would then shut it off when it reached a hi-temp sensor value of 118 degrees F.
I needed to replace the S series with the updated Y series. Although this spa pack works for the Gecko (and affiliated brands), it also works with the Balboa line. By the way, this would effectively be a heater replacement for Gecko OR Balboa.
Here's a link to the parts I've replaced in my Hot Tub (Good for Gecko or Balboa):
    --Gecko Y Series In.Ye-5 Bundle: amzn.to/4ajTbkp
--Aqua Flo Master 230v Spa Pump: amzn.to/49h6gKB
--Aqua Flo (Wet End only): amzn.to/3TkuVrD
    --In.K200-20P Topside Display: amzn.to/3vgfwR8
    --Ratcheting screwdriver: amzn.to/4cjLmgq

I also needed to do a hot tub topside control panel replacement, so this spa pack came with a new controller for that as well, and I show how to do that around 10:25 mark (see chapters below).

I decided to just give up and pay over $500 USD for a brand new control panel, but the S Class controller is no longer manufactured, so I opted to purchase the more modern Gecko In.Ye-5-H4.0. This Y series controller replaces the S Class and also some other controllers, like the M Class and XE, as well as some Balboa systems. I have a 230v power supply, so this controller can easily run 120v/230v 2 speed Aqua Flo Master XP2 Pumps.
