13:40 I’m actually surprised Brad miss the boom mic in the shot he’s usually on top of that kind of thing also it’s not surprising that this movie has a boom mic in the shot.
i THINK IN GENERALL Brad is in a better place in his life. He has a successful show, a hot wife, a house. In the old videos he had that Im stuck living in my grandmas basement thing going for him.
As soon as I saw that cover I remembered this movie from when I worked at Blockbuster. Customers kept renting it thinking it was a Friday the 13th sequel.
Thank you for another wonderful episode. Loved this movie. I remember renting this siiiiick flick at my local tanning Solon/ video store. Happy Friday the 13th. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Take care and be safe.
We had a commercial back at my end where thry made a hommage to old slasher flicks. It was a guy it in the yard wearing a mask and using a chainsaw. The old couple inside said isnt this great we have always wanted someone to take care of the old trees in the yard. Lets go outside and ask if he can help us with that. It ends with the house being empty and you can hear the sound of the chainsaw revving up in speed.

I rented this from a Premiere Video store 20 years ago as a kid. I loved Friday the 13th and this box cover certainly stood out, so I just had to rent it. Obviously, it's not Friday the 13 or Jason, but I still really enjoyed this as a kid, as did my sister.
13:42 when he says, "it has to be Jason:, you can see the boom mic at the top of the screen. Surprised? To quote my favorite reviewer, "Nope, nope, that's a whole lotta nope." ;)
Remember having seen both movies in the videostore, because the other dvd/vhs-cover art was that of a Michael Myers type mask rip-off that did catch your eye.
Awesome movie. It's a shame that the sequel did not capture the weird 00's Disney Channel movie feel that this film has in spades. It really feels like this was at some point slated to be a kids film, but that they at the last minute decided that it would be a very tame slasher.
13:14 - It is at this time I am guessing the Dad who's writing to her is going to be the killer. Also, this is easily the most not-bloody slasher movie I've ever seen. I think even He Knows You're Alone was more violent than this.
I was having Deja Vu for some reason then remembered awhile back I watched someone else's review of this movie. So I was trying to figure out where I seen this before. Anyways good review as always.
Pinhead shows up at the end and tells the survivor you are stuck in an infinite Friday the 13th parody that they must relive again and again for opening the box or some crap ... Making it hellraiser 23
trevor moorehouse might look like a Dollar-store jason, but i think he's kinda cool, in that " really simple, archetypal slasher" sort of way, plus while jason is definitely better, treevor must be doing something right since when you bring up jason to most people they'll say something akin to " oh yeah jason, big guy, hockey mask, jumpsuit, stalks teens at a camp with a chainsaw right?", jason most definitely better, but Trevor seems to be pretty iconic in his own right, even if he'll never be as famous as successful as jason or as Dreamy as Ben Tramer, p.s. R.I.P. Ben
Am I the only one who noticed that when the one guy said “naturally,it had to be Jason” you could see the boom Mike at the top of the frame?I can’t be the only one.
1:30- Yay. 3:05- So true. I only first heard of the name Trevor Moorehouse from your Saturday the 14th Strikes Back review. 8:21- Still waiting for that review to be released from UA-cam Jail. (HE'S BACK...THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK) Dammit. 10:56- That's odd. A reference to "The Crime of the Age" in a review of a Friday the 13th ripoff movie. Interesting. 13:24- I thought you name was either Craig Golightly or Vincent Dawn, according to the Cinema Snob Movies. 13:40- Boom mic in the shot. 20:30- At least Trevor Moorhouse isn't making his victims sing "Jingle Bells." That's a plus.
I'm surprised he didn't do never hike alone or any of the Friday the 13th fan films. or talk about the Friday the 13th tv series, or the burning, or madman or slaughterhouse oh wait it's a texas chainsaw massacre knock off
This reminds me of a movie that I rented in the early 2000s that was a camp slasher. I remember absolutely NOTHING form the movie itself, but there was a documentary that they obviously spent more time on... bragging that they filmed it entirely by camcorder. I don't remember the title, nor do I care to. I just remember thinking that filming a movie on camcorder was a new, possibly big thing at the time. ... I've learned otherwise in the past few years from movie reviewers on UA-cam.

I've heard the legends about Trevor Moorehouse. They say he's more house than man.
LMFAO!
I found this way funnier than i should have 😂
Ohhhhhh boy 😂
"He is more house now than man. Twisted and evil"
“Don’t Go In The Woods Alone Due To The Burning On Sunday The 15th” needs to be Brad’s next film.
And it should be about the legend of Dave.
"You're a loser Bill, I wish I have never met you!" is the line that keeps me coming back to this review 😂😂😂😂
"Maybe if we say 'Jason' enough times, we can trick people into thinking they're watching a Friday the 13th movie!" -- the writers at some point (probably)
Writers? They just took the script from Friday the 13th and made a ctrl-c.
Trevor Moorehouse was great in the The Whitest Kids U’ Know, along with Zach Kruegger, Sam Leatherbrown, Timmy Pennywillams, and Darren Trumeterlector, what a funny bunch of slashers lol
To be honest, upon seeing a killer with a hockey mask and chainsaw, the first thing I thought of was Clark Griswold. lol
National Lampoon's Summer Camp Vacation... I'd watch it.
I was really surprised when Dad showed up. I was starting to think it was laptop-loving Neil Breen talking to her from another dimension.
I was just thinking that😂😂
At least if this was a Neil Breen movie, Brad could have drank every time he says “corruption” or “Artificial A.I.” and passed out after 20minutes.
This really does look like a Disney Channel movie. Also, Trevor Morehouse is not as amazing or dreamy as Ben Tramer.
@Edward Lee Miller And Grady.

@@EssexAggiegrad2011 Hi, Derpy. Sigh.
Boy I'm glad I found this comment
This looks nothing like a DCOM. This is the same year that The Phantom of the Megaplex came out. They looked a lot better than this.
I think we all know who's really killer in Bloody Murder: it was the guy who took that photo of Jason in Friday the 13th part V.
I hope one day The Snob reviews Ice-T’s “Surviving The Game”. It’s seems like it’s a direct to video movie, but done right and released in theaters.
Also has Gary Busey give one of the best monologues in film history.
It’s the 90’s remake of The Most Dangerous Game starring Ice-T as a wiley hobo that we never knew we needed.
He should also do Vanilla Ice's movie. The level of Vanilla's cringe is stunning. It would make for a hilarious review by His Snobness.
How dare you??!!?? That movie was the bomb!!! It was the judgment night for people who thought Helmet was a bit too much….
i had surviving the game on vhs it may be on one of the free streaming services but even mentioning that movie these days would spark hissy fit from the libtards it would be the worst hissy fit the world has ever seen

Good catch.
This reminds me of old school (OG as the kids say) Snob reviews, but with better production. Great stuff; thanks Snob.
If only the movie saying Jason over and over would actually summon him.
If there is a Bloody Murder 3, it should be shot in 3D.
Watching snob gives me a warm fuzzy feeling and has done for over 10 years now! Big love Cinema Snob!
Shh. Jason's onto you, his hidden microphone at 18:41 pops in to let us know how he's staying one step ahead of you all.
Hell yeah! I totally forgot about this one. Thanks Snob.
I love how the first shot of the movie is the most 2000s thing I've seen in a long, long time.

Nothing more fun than a bloodless slasher film.
The sequel more than makes up for it. Plus a longer sex scene and nudity.
@@deathoftheendless I thought he was joking when he mentioned a sequel! 😂😂😂
eh I liked it.
@@thefitnerd5116 I haven't seen the sequel but I heard it's actually way better than the original.
Jason is famous in this movie that he's not in. Flattering is the best way to honor better stars and movies.

A love letter to Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre and every other 80s slasher movie I haven't mentioned.
@STEEL RAIN. It’s more Friday The 13th by way of Scream.

Jessica Morris I believe mentioned this film on a talk show and said it wasn't something she was proud of.
So a soap opera makes you proud but a horror movie doesn't? LOL (I love soaps AND horror) Or was it just that this film was so bad? Oh well!

Shout out to the awesome Friday the 13th novels! Nice
When it comes to campy horror movies (no pun intended), the Cinema Snob has the best jokes. 🤣
Here's an idea for a slasher movie parody. Everyone is a slasher villain out to kill the rest but none of them knows that about the others.
Wasn't that already done? Like twice even if I remember correctly.
This movie is worthy of being described as a redbox horror
I remember this one. I had both on VHS. Never heard of the spin-off.
There was supposed to be a third film but after Artisan went bankrupt the rights got tangled in legal limbo so the spin-off had to be made.
Totally amazing review of bloody murder it’s more hilarious funny then the actually movie, can’t stop laughing 😂 cinema snob, fantastic job.

Those marketing geniuses had to put the word, "BLOODY" in the film's title to make up for the lack of blood in its kill scenes!
