    Actually if your doing a tune up on one of these with factory wires they are wrapped in a plastic shield and fished through under the intake and around the alternator so it's easier to cut the wires and pull them up through. If someone has already been in there and didn't reinstall the wires exactly the way the factory did then your right, it's a lot easier.

    Thanks man. Just got a 03 S10 and it runs little rough. This is something we can do on a weekend. Good job.

      Try cleaning intake such as idle air control valve and mass airflow sensor.

      If you do clean those parts use mass airflow cleaner for mass airflow sensor and throttle body cleaner for idle air control valve

    My radio had the same problem (1997 s10) but I just played with the fuse box and it shut off when the truck shut off

    I think just lifting the front just gives ya more room to get in there and possibly get more leverage n stuff but yeah it can be done doing none of that. Would be nice if you can do that from the top but no, theres gotta be everything in the way to the wire leads lol.

    Ur truck has pcv valve because I can’t find one in my truck 01 Chevy s10 truck

    • @chrisdgg30
      @chrisdgg30  9 місяців тому +1

      I no longer have the truck but as long as I did have it I never had to replace the pcv valve so I'm not to sure, my best guess is it did and are usually on the valve cover should have a plastic tube connected to it.

    Where did you order the cherry bomb? Do you need any extra pieces to get it on the pipe?

    • @chrisdgg30
      @chrisdgg30  8 місяців тому

      I bought it at AutoZone if I remember correctly, and I just bought clamps

    • @chrisdgg30
      @chrisdgg30  8 місяців тому

      Keep in mind the cherry bomb can be placed two different ways depending on the sound you want. The little holes inside are at a sort of slant, slant facing engine is louder

      I had a jeep and used a flowmaster super 10 which I believe is better than the cherry bomb depends on how loud you like your exhaust 👍

      No it did not give any codes when I gutted my cat u can correct me if I'm wrong but I think only get codes if there are any sensors too close or on the tail end of cat side between muffler and cat but my was almost a foot away from cat between engine and cat

    jackstands don't fall

    • @chrisdgg30
      @chrisdgg30  6 років тому +2

      I have seen em fall, also have seen em bend, they do work but not just anyone knows how to use them, a person like you self is confident because you know how to use them I don't recommend them to do it yourself videos only for the safety of anyone inexperienced
