This was by far THE BEST video on how to get to the coil packs. I owe you a bottle of Redneck Riviera whiskey brother! You got a new subscriber.

I have a 2000 s10 hard to start i have to put foot on floor to be able to start it and runs really rough at idle then when it warms up it idles great just loosing power when driving kind of boggs down when hard accelerating..Hoping this could be my problem i have no check engine lights...94,000 miles

I was having a misfire on cylinder 4, and had already replaced the plugs wires and fuel injectors. You may be better off checking plugs and wires 1st before doing the coil.

Do you know the measurements for the cool pack bolts? Mine are stripped and I need new ones.

I enjoyed your video. I wondering how much money do you think you saved by doing this yourself and how long it took you to the work.

The part cost was about $17. This took about 30 minutes with filming. If I would have gone to a shop I would have had to pay for the part and labor. So I’d assume $90-120 per hour of labor so around $107-137 cost if I would have gone to a shop.

Did this fix the issue? I have a p0304. Which would be the same coil as yours since it gos to cylinders 1 and 4

Don't forget the cost of putting the vehicle up on a lift in the shop. Thats where the big cost comes in.

I’ve done spark plugs, plug wires, ignition coils, and fuel injectors and I still have a misfire problem, any idea what I could do next?

Mine was EGR and fuel pressure regulator.

@@ChrisThedudenurse definitely gonna do those next, fuel injectors is hopefully the worst of the misfire chase

Check the ground for your fuel pump near the rear of frame rails

@@LoganMoore-pz2uq interesting what were your issues, mine 2.2 has trouble at high rpm. I got a new pump, tank, regulator, filter, lines. I got new plugs and wires. Still gotta do the coils and ones got a crack so I’m hoping that’s it.

    my 99 2.2
doesn't have an egr from what I can tell. Am I wrong? did they omit this fine piece of engineering for some reason?

Your 99 has a different top end than my 97. 94-97 were mpfi and 98-03 were vortec.
