- In todays video I will be exploring An Abandoned Untouched Titanic Owners Mansion With Everything Left Inside. Nestled in a lush, remote part of France stands the grand Chateau du Pruina. Constructed in the 15th century by a wealthy French lineage, the chateau has witnessed centuries, with its walls keeping countless secrets and stories from generations of the family.
The neighboring villagers often shared stories about the peculiar rituals of the family. Many believed the family held mysterious abilities. Legends whispered of a curse that kept the family tethered to this grand residence. The last descendant of the de Villefort name had aspirations of expanding their empire in America but met a tragic fate aboard the Titanic in 1912. With his demise, the chateau fell into obscurity, and the influence of the de the powerful family diminished.
Fast forward to 2022, the once-forgotten chateau has a new guardian. Intent on reviving its former grandeur, they are pouring resources into restoring the architectural marvel.The vision is clear: turning the historic Chateau du Pruina into an opulent 5-star hotel that captures its rich history. Yet, despite the forthcoming modern touches, the mysteries surrounding the de family and their home remain, captivating the imaginations of many.

You should be wearing latex gloves & a mask when you go in these houses so you won't get sick by breathing in the mold spores or touching anything. Always assume all abandoned houses have black mold & prepare for it. Breathing in black mold does the most damage to your lungs. LOVE your show. Sorry for the lecture but that's what we mothers do.

Some can't sleep in same bed because of one of the two partners will toss and turn, have to scratch alot, and makes many trips to bathroom, keeping one of the two awake. 😵💫🤯

I loved the staircase how it spiral from top to bottom. The scenery is beautiful. Such a shame that the house was left to waste away. Guys be careful of that black mold.

With that much black mold, that is probably why it was abandoned. With that much you can’t just pack up and move because the spores get into everything. You should really wear an respiration device when going into properties that may have mold or asbestos.

That "piano" you had never seen was probably a harpsichord, a precursor to the pianoforte (piano). Mozart and other classical musicians wrote their music on it, vs. the piano.
The top floor is my favorite. Because of the unique shapes of the rooms and some being in the tower. Love it 😊
I don't know why that picture is black and white, but it's "Judith et Holopherne", and the original painting by Horace Venet. Judith is about to behead Holopherene, and Assyrian General who passed out before he was able to destroy her home and her town.

The rooms that are intact are very beautiful. There is Hope this wonderful mansion can be saved and Restored to it's former glory....Right now It is Lost in its own history.... I love the Tall well made doors to each room... Still has the long halls and graceful staircases...Such a beautiful ruin....❤

The painting behind the Piano was titled "Judith beheading Holofernes/ Judith et Holofernes" painted in 1598-1599 or 1602 based on google.

In the basement, it was not a table, it was a full size billiads/snooker table. Traditionally 12ft x 6ft. It was covered with board to protect the baize surface. The balls, cues, racks, props etc are probably on the table under the board.🙂

At 4:20 in the video, you mentioned the black mold, do you wear the bio hazard face mask? The main European adventures always wear them. Absolutely every time! Take care, as only you can do that. ❣️

FYI it's extremely dangerous walking into a place with black mold like that. It can cause permanent damage to the lungs and many other health issues related to the nervous system. You really should have worn a respirator, or at least wear one in the future.
If it is to be converted into a hotel, its best to maintain the chateau by its descendants, since it is registered legally, and it is under insurance. The relatives can maintain ownership of their Chateau and manage renovation, since the cause of abandonment is unprecedented event, the clauses of laws governing insurance, insurability, ownership are also implemented and laws governing consumer protection for its rightful owners.
17:15 The first king size bed was introduced in 1941 in America. Twin size beds were basically the standard globally until mid 20th century. What I find interesting, and I see this is most of the old mansions and castles, is despite there being a gazillion rooms there always seems to be a cluster of beds in one room or all the bedrooms have multiple beds.

The painting: Judith et Holopherne (Judith and Holofernes - the beheading of Holofernes). Italian artist Artemisia Gentileschi's oil painting in 1620. Not sure if this one's the original. I dont think it is.

You say that the owner of this Mansion perished on the Titanic in 1912, BUT there is evidence with the cars in the garage some from the 40's & 50's some one had to be living there into the 50's or even the 60's before the Mansion became abandoned !! 😕
