Amazing like always Doug! The trials and tribulations you went through just make it that much better. If I could do a tenth of what you do, not just with woodworking but everything as a whole, I would consider myself a successful man. Keep it up and try not to work too hard. First and foremost take care of yourself.

I have a love-hate relationship with cedar. I love the way it looks but hate how brittle it is. The tenons or recess cracks every time. This one lived up to my expectations. Fought you the whole way. Good to see you back.

Good to see you back in the shop again, Doug. Of course you had to have problems the first time back but you persevered and it turned out nice. I hope you continue to feel better. BTW - I wasn't sure there was anything behind your eyes (lol). Take care.

Happy New Year Doug, good to see you back. Those colors came out well. Not a bad use of an old telephone pole. I imagine I was not the only viewer who gave a sigh of relief and thumbs up when you said you were going to stop pressing your luck. 👍

@@PohlBarnProductions It's a 1961 Ford 861. I also have a 1958 John Deere 420. I had a Ford 2N that I used before I got the John Deere but sold it early last year. The 2N only had draft control for the 3 point, so that made grading the driveway a challenge because the draft control tries to keep the engine running at the same speed and raises and lowers the 3 point to do that. The 420 has depth control, made it much easier to grade. I got the Ford when I was having problems with the 420. If you have an old tractor, you need two old tractors so at least one of them is working when you need one.
