@@PohlBarnProductions I meant for a change, in a good way, lol? Its a different look, like when you see a beautiful piece of antique glass, with interesting bubbles instead of clear glass.
I guess my phrase made it sound like I didnt like your other pieces. ALL your work has been so pretty and I love it all!! You didnt seem to like this piece much, with the pitting and bubbles, I thought it was very very pretty!
You always have a way of taking the end result not being what you intended and making it beautiful.

Steve, you can see a 3:09 the epoxy-ribbon mold wasn't on stable...the hole kept moving. See how out of balance it was? He could have been hurt. He's lucky there were only cracks. People need to be honest here...not just polite.

As a artist I am my own worst critic. I know how it is to be unhappy with a piece. All that said, I love working with cedar the colorations in this piece are marvelous. I've done some work with epoxies & I do not have a pressure pot. I can honestly say bubbles suck.
All in all I like this bowl.
Keep turning, you teach me a lot. Thanks.

I really like your bowl! The red-pink cedar, with the rainbow colors is quite lovely. I’d call it the aurora bowl, for its glorious pale morning colors. You overcame your circumstances with this one! Great video!

Lovely piece, I really like the transparent resin, with the touch of colour, and the uneven resin finish really does make it feel like old glass. Would love to see you do an all resin version, with the lovely heavy bases you do 😍

the bubbles add negative space in this. Really a good effect. Like taking acrylic rod, wrapping it with cloth, and using these rolls in layers of other fabric to make a micarta with clear/transparent moments and pathways through it.

Uhg! I think every Craftsman/Artisan in the world can empathize with your frustration..
