I am wondering what you, and your UA-cam colleagues, do with all the material you scrape of from whatever you are making? Will it end up as pollution in the oceans? I see a lot of material is wasted here and it has to go somewhere. What happens with it?
lol I am wondering why it is you tree hugger types think I live anywhere near the Oceans ? maybe you should be out there cleaning the oceans instead of bullying others on the internet, friggin Key board warriors!
Good grief he just asked a question. What do you do with your epoxy scrap?
@@PohlBarnProductions Did I say anything about where you live. I don't know and I don't care. But if you ask me why I think you live close to an ocean then I know what type of person you are. I'm afraid I can't write it here or I will be thrown out of UA-cam, but let's just say it is the opposite of intelligent. All the waste you produce has to go somewhere and it is proven that much of our plastic garbage ends up in the oceans. You did not answer my question yet, so we still don't know where does all the material go. Care to tell us?
@@lauriewinblade5214 be didn't just ask a question. He made an accusation... Granted I had the same question and wondered if it could be used as a filler instead on wood or bags of mables inside of of the roughed out bowls.
De Mus, What happens to your turds when you flush them, do they end up in the ocean choking all the happy baby seals...? Save a seal, stop shitting... 🤣
You say "Finial", I say "Door Knob", LOL... Just kidding, looks good Doug, I've never heard of "red barked birch"
I say Trailer Hitch Ball to tow your Camper with !!! LOL Thank You
This box is fantastic!!! I laughed when you said your dogs opened the box in the snow!!!
😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank You Samantha, I was going to show it but couldn't figure out how to blue his address
Great job on lidded bowl and"knob haha " Doug like the wood too. great idea on the finial like the shape.
Thank You Scott
You continue to be my favorite!!!! Since discovering UA-cam and you, I’ve watched a great number of other artists but you are hands down the best of the best. I love that piece so so much. It’s perfect!
Awwww Thank You Janice, I do my best to keep it real !
It turned out awesome. Love the shape and effect the finished product has!! Nicely done!
Thank You Thank You
It's still really pretty Doug .The wood grain is absolutely beautiful
Thank You Sue
Glad the branch and bark didn't mess you up. It really was in my firewood pile then I saw the grain. I set it aside....when I was organizing my wood I thought why am I saving this...glad you were able to make it a piece of beauty. Yes birch does smell good.
Thanks for sending Doug the firewood it looks really beautiful the grain is stunning😁😁
Thank You Rick, thanks for sending it, I still need to get to the others you've sent,
Never a hurry, i love to see your work no matter where the wod comes from.
Absolutely stunning. Well done 😊👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank You Marie
That finial started out looking like a trailer hitch ball. Finished product looks good Doug.
Thank You Renea, I know then I panicked and didn't know where to go with it
That turned out great Doug!! Kind of didn't matter what you wanted Sir it still turned out beautiful. I love the grains in that wood and the colors. Awesome!!
Awesome, thank you Carrie!
It looks great Doug. I love all of your bowls and every video I seen. Thank you for sharing Sir.
Thank You Patrick
Thanks Doug, for the mention, it made my day seeing that my sticker reached you. Love the piece and the videos. Keep them coming. Steve from SDF Woodworks.
Thanks again For the Sticker Steve! by the dates on the envelope you should get mine in a couple weeks
@@PohlBarnProductions thanks mate. I’ll keep an eye out for them. 👍👍
Amazing how something originally meant to be firewood ends up as a gorgeous bowl. Love it!
Thank you very much Chris! I've made a few pieces that were from the log pile
It's lovely, Doug. Beautiful grain on it.
Thank You Pauline
Gorgeous! PLEASE don't worry about the length of your vids. It's always fascinating to watch, and time flies. I was thinking it looks like a pie keeper. Whatever it is, IS a keeper! Thanks Doug!
Thank You Kathi,
No matter what you "wanted", those colors and that wood together made a beautiful bowl. When you say finial I think of those tiny fancy knobs which I don't always like. I love this one! Thanks for sharing your craft with us!!
Thank You Gaynl, this is more of a knob or a trailer Hitch Ball ! lol
@@PohlBarnProductions I think that the finial is well sized for this project! I get what you're saying about the trailer hitch though!! :)😃
Hey, Doug !
Looks great as always.
Love the chatoyance you got on the piece.
Thank You Nancy
Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful wood grain. I think it turned out awesome. Great job. Love it. 💕😊💕
Thank you so much Joalla!
This is a very pretty lidded bowl! The grain in the wood makes it very eye-catching! I agree a bit that the finial wasnt quite right, its more of a handle or knob instead of a finial but its also got a pretty wood grain. Thank you for sharing this project, Doug!
Thank you very much Texana!
It's a masterpiece of wonderful work. Cheers Doug, tons of thumbs-up 👍
Thank You Thank You Sony
Hey I like that finial!! Looks great buddy! Thank you for all you do brother! Thank you for the share too!👍🏻👍🏻
Thank You Thank You Bruce, You bet
you say 'finial' and I say "Hey, I learned a new word for fancy handle today!" LOL Looks great Doug! I like how the pewter blended in versus standing out, makes for a pretty, rustic look!
Thank You Jeff, you mean trailer hitch ball !! LOL yes the colors worked out well for this project
Wow that red barked birch is beautiful! Nicely done! It was fun being in the workshop today. I hope you have a great weekend!
Thank You Linda, You too
Beautiful form, Doug! Loved every bit of this!
Thank You Thank You Seth, I'm Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful wood, amazing bowl. I like the finial…….then it popped into my head, Doug should create gear shift knobs……. ♥️
Thank You Maddie, I believe I have a gear shift knob video in the 1M view range, lol
@@PohlBarnProductions silly me to think you haven’t created one, the guy with the vintage vehicle…………I’ve seen it done on someone channel, I bet it was yours.

Thank You Liz Glad you like it
That turned out nice. Love the grain in the wood. Thanks for sharing
Thank You Kim
Looks great, Doug. And to think it was destined to be firewood! Nothing wrong with the finial. It's just a substantial handle for the lid. Take care.
Bill
Thank You Bill, you could tow a trailer with it !
You always amaze me! This is absolutely beautiful! I love the way this masterpiece came out, wood and resin are terrific! Keep up that great sense of humor! Great job!

. Great Doug! The colors you picked and the wood coloring and grain are complimentary imo brother. That friction polish glassed out pretty good. I rather like the big finnial. But then I have weird tastes..🤣 have a beautiful weekend mi amigo. 🤝 🎶blinded by the light🎵😎

That's a cool project Doug... the large finial adds to the character. I really like the way the colors turned out, the subtle contrast enhances the beauty of the grain. Great job and enjoy your weekend.

Thank You Glenn
Great Work Mr. Doug!! That’s Beautiful!!👍
Thank you kindly Charity
It's funny to see you get flustered at the start of the project and at the end its amazing. I mean, you have taken a piece that has broken apart, put it back together and have it turn out super nice. This one is great as well, really like how the grain looks.
Thank You James, yeah I'm not a fan of things not going my way, lol I will make it work !!!
Beautiful, beautiful job. That's for making it.
Thank You Jack
It’s a beautiful piece. Well done.
Thank you very much Kaleigh!
Looks amazing love the colors of the resin and wood.
Thanks so much Mikk!
Beautiful and gorgeous pot! That's awesome.
Thank You Thank You
It is amazing how that resin eats up the edge of your tools....The what not Bowl of inspiration by DOUG!
I really think its the Mica powders that take out the tool edge, it seems the more of it I use on a project the more often I am sharpening my tools, Thanks again Richard
That is a beautiful piece. Nice work Doug
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice one Doug. I always like the one with imperfections in em.
Thank You Zed
Nice. Liked the colour choices and the chunky finial.
Thanks a bunch Mike! now I'm gonna use it to get my boat to the lake ! lol

Thanks so much Paige!
You do amazing things. This is definitely one of your best!👍🏻
Thank you so much Scharlotte 😀
Doug, that turned out real nice mate well done
Thanks again Alan
Doug you said "firewood" though birch well with that red and the pewter Gray that you chose makes it look like ash. It's a beautiful piece of Birch and who cares if that finial is to big or how some have said a fancy word for a door knob. Artwork is artwork doesn't matter the size. Love the piece. Stay healthy and look forward to next week's project.
Thank You Steve, but I do believe I could tow a trailer with it ! LOL have a great weekend !
Nagyon nagyon szép munka,mint mindig.Szuper ötletesség és kivitelezés.Várom a következő videót!Nagyon szeretem nézni,ahogy dolgozik,kiváló szakember!!!!Üdvözlet!!!!!🙂👍👍

The bowl and lid are nice. I like the color of the resin even though you don’t. Thanks Dougie.
Thank You Thank You Douggie, lol you didn't comment on my trailer hitch ball finial knob thingy ma bob ! LOL
Looks great as always thanks for sharing it with us this week till next time stay safe
Thank You Thank You, You too !
Cool project, Doug. Thanks
Thank You Derek
Good morning Doug it’s Friday morning in Brooklyn New York have a great weekend
Thank You Liz, I'm in the same timezone as you are, just on the other side of it
It looks amazing. Even with a large finial. Also, stop caring about the time. For me, the longer the video, the better. It is relaxing to watch. I watch CNC 5 axis videos that are at least an hour long. 😂🤣 ✌Doug
Thank You Greg, I'll do my best to stop worrying!
You've turned a beautiful lidded pot Doug!!
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up for support
Awesome, thank you!
@@PohlBarnProductions You're very welcome Doug!

Not too bad for a chunk of firewood. Thanks for sharing
Thank You Garth, You've got that right!
It looks really good. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Frances!
Good looking bowl, Doug. Good job.
Thank You Edwin
Love the pewter color. You should make something with just that color
Thank You Laura, I'd planned on using the pewter on Henry's urn, Blue Pit so that color was my plan along with some white
I think it looks amazing! Love it!!!
Thank You Thank You Scharlotte
You could easily make a vase out of such a lid. This was a really interesting option. In the sense that you open the bowl, turn the lid over and transfer the contents of the bowl into a vase while you are looking for something in the bowl.
GooD)))))))
Thank You Meront, that's an interesting Idea !
@@PohlBarnProductions 😉😉😉
That came out awesome!
Thank You John
Greetings Doug, There are some fantastic grain on this mate looks amazing. You could always use that Finial to hang some tools from if the bowl ever breaks!!!LOL. Keep smiling.
Thank You Peter, or tow my boat to the lake!!! LOL
I like the fennel, just the right size!
Thank You John, I like Fennel too if it's roasted, Darn auto correct ! Finial I would guess you meant.

Wasn't.sure about that orange...what was I thinking your color choices always are spot on perfection. That's a cool lidded bowl even the big finial.

Doug your to hard on your self my friend your wood turning skills are amazing you are not afraid of showing your problems and how you get over them. Like this piece it the only one in the world. You need to understand just how many of your followers cannot wait till your next video.
