Man you're making me want 410's for my 06 gt manual. That seemed to be a big difference. Sounds way less slugish with the taller gear. Not that it was sluggish before but yeah.

"IMO" 3.73's seem to be in that sweet spot between fun and practicality fun to cruise around the back roads and good for the highway, love the 4.10's but not so much on the highway doing 120 and rpms are like at 3k in 6th

it's not a ratchet, it's the stock shifter. That TCI ratchet is pretty bad ass but it's over-priced in my opinion. You don't gain too much out of it. For the same price you can also get from TCI a stall converter. I put the 3000 in my 06 GT and it makes a huge difference. . In the video you can see the stock converter engages around 2000, so the motor isn't quite in it's power-band yet.

hockeyplaya001 not sure how much you know about drag racing but usually the automatics pull out of the hole faster & run more consistent & last longer than manuals. Also no matter how hard you power shift you cant shift as fast as an automatic & if you are getting close you're breaking stuff. Ever wondered why all the single digit et cars runs autos & are consistent while the manual cars are inconsistent on both their times & launches? Read up & come back tell me I'm wrong if you feel the need to be "that guy"
Brian Langdon Also turbo cars with automatics tend to run laps around manual turbo cars. You don't loose boost with Autos & so you also stay in the powerband. Am I saying a stock auto is faster? No. But with the right ring & pinion gear plus valve body, stall & torque converter you can actually beat manuals of the same car with more power all day. Of course not ones with goobs of more power..

Why would you show us the difference in rear end gears on two completely different surfaces? One in the dry, then on a wet road?! Hell 2.73's will sound like four tens on a wet surface. lol
The slicks made the biggest difference. And the speedo looks like it needs to be fixed with a tuner as well.
Dude you can do a burnout in an automatic. Simply hold brake down, hit the gas, let off the brake slowly until your front tires lock and rear burnout.

Its a way to measure usable oxygen in the air for combustion.. lower or negative values are better then higher.
