Another outstanding video FourEyes. I know you don’t post videos that often, but when you do, they are worth the wait. That Mustang is a beast. IMHO The Front is a good resemblence to the original, but it's too clumsy, these Halogen Headlights with large reflectors look too old-fashioned, yes, they hadn't Xenon HID headlights for the Mustang back then, but also a bunch of other cars like The Audi A4 B6, the first gen A5, the Mercedes W211, W204, Volkswagen Passat B5 GP/B6, Touran GP and several BMWs like the 5 series E39 had projection headlights with halogen lamps that looked very similar to the optional Xenon headlights (almost every car uses such projection headlights, AFAIK just the Volvo V70 used Xenon with a reflector). And also the turn indicators, not sure about the regulations, but you might use a clear cover and also an amber bulb that is silver-plated, so it just shines amber when in use; in Germany we call this "Spiegelei-Effekt" (meaning it looks like a fried egg) and it especially affected the Porsche Boxster 986/911 996 where they combines the turn indicators with the main headlights that were always separated in the previous 911 generations. And I know that for a lot of cars like my A1 even the manufacturer itself offered two more styles of LED rear lights, the normal is red with a white lower section for turn indicator, reverse light and fog rear light, Audi also offered these dark tinted and full red tinted, Porsche does similar, the 997.2 had the option (it was default for the Sport Classic and Speedster) to mostly white rear lights (except the reflector).

Hearing that "once I was done paying off my student loans" line, and seeing the amazing work you've done with this car, really resonated with me. These videos are exactly what more creators need to make, the level of detail and comparing every last detail is what separates you from the rest. I honestly don't know how more people don't appreciate this.
Another A+ video! I can't think of another channel, homebrewed or big budget, that has the same feel to it. The timing, the visuals, the mix of car noises, dialogue, music, and even the drama of the endless problem-solving, is off the charts, all while holding back on the cheese.
I got my 2005 GT convertible up to 440HP crank. This video was a beautiful memory. That 2nd gear comment under hard throws was so true. Daily it was fine but under stress, it just never worked well. Had to upgrade it. I ran a Watts Linkage for the rear end with BBK control arms. Really helped stabilize those launches. Also, watch the lashes they break down quicker then you'd think. Don't forget a good Watts linkage. It makes all the difference on the car.
I'm so excited to see how it does. I'm a big fan of this model and amazed how you've done certain mods to be a contender against others in a class above yours. I think you do a great job explaining successes and failures. Keep up the good work.
This car sings beautifully and your shifting is also excellent. Mainly in the last race the gear changes were incredible. What fear of falling behind does for our coordination... 😄
I can not stress enough how good this video is. So interesting and so well done. Really cool seeing each step of the process this succinctly and also seeing what each mod did to the car HP-wise.
I've been following your progress for the past several months, and I'm impressed with what you've been able to obtain with the 3V 4.6. Its great to see videos like this to see someone maximize the potential from these older motors.
This is the best Mustang for me because of the reasons that you mentioned. That car literally change the modern muscle cars and gave us an unforgettable era. Normally I'm not a muscle car guy but I have a huge respect to this car. Amazing job and effort to upgrade it. I believe you had so much fun doing it. I never felt like this is a 18 min video, enjoyed so much.
I just wanna say my deepest respect for not going down the foolish road with the tuning. Most of your tunings are actually useful and not just bling, just how it should be. Great to see there are car guys that don’t follow this Japanese trend, really made my day.
Dude, its not like those stupid AK47 tunes are what make up Japanese tuning entirely. The majority of Japanese tuners do the same thing you guys love doing: pushing as much power as possible. Only difference is the cylinder count.

This was a very well documented video that showed what a step by step upgrade can do for the 4.6 Mustangs. I was very impressed with the way you put it all together and look forward to watching any future videos regarding such builds.
You greatly inspired me with this 3v mustang. Mine started a long time ago as a v6 and was swapped to a 3v v8. It was upgraded with most bolt ons you have and a bbk exhaust system instead of kooks. The car is currently in the shop now receiving everything you have on yours except for the return fuel pump and transmission. Mostly likely it will be receiving 4:10s as well. New Brembos going on as too and a hood with a ram air intake and vents. A cat delete too to free up as much power as possible. The entire suspension has also been done on top of all this with the cherry on top being 285 wide square setup of Michelin pilot sport 4s on 10 inch by 19 lightweight apex race wheels. I am so excited to get the car back when it’s done! I’m just hoping it can keep up with a gen 3 10 speed like yours can! Thank you so much for the guidance and for helping me make my 3 valve a true beast!

That's a stunning amount of commitment to speed, I don't miss my s197 but it is nice to see someone wring all the potential out of it they can with an enthusiasts budget.
There’s definitely a reason. Look at how much work he’s put into that thing for just making 400hp. $9k for an engine rebuild and didn’t even make 400hp
@Bruhsecuter Well we dont give two fucks if you like the 3v. They are hated for no reason. Having a 2010 3v, I can tell you 90% of the mustang owners with coyotes are little dick elite prick wads . They talk so much shit about the 3v, but act like the 2v doesnt exist, and then act even more like the OG windsor 5.0 wasnt slow in stock form.
@@terrabnadia1793 Its all in the heads. Aftermarket heads would have made way more power. No reflowed stock head will flow better. But he built the motor for boost, in stages. I'm not a mustang fan and I still have to admire how well done this video is. Great job on both the production, and getting 400+whp out of a 3V!

Except he dumped like 30k to get there. Kinda a joke
And to add to that he was limited by fuel swell since he only had access to 93 octane I think it was, which makes it even more impressive
@@jasondeftones1 Well yeah sure it was expensive, but he also pre built it to be able to handle the turbo kit with no problem, and it was also harder for him to get higher power since he was limited on fuel selection etc, for example he can't get E85 where he lives, that would have saved him money. But its still impressive that he can get a decent engine this powerful N/A

@@Four_Eyes I think it honestly is a real treat doing these longer, more interesting videos as compared to more frequent postings. This is my first time seeing any of your content and I got to say that you are a fantastic Producer. Not only am I baffled on the cost of what you’re doing but the incredibly comprehensive manner in which you bring it to the viewer! Well done Sir 4 eyes.
Honestly, I’ve never been a fan of the gen5 look & feel but it feels like you are awakening something inside of me… can’t wait for Stage 4! Great build so far!
I've always thought the front view looked great, the side view looked pretty good too, and the rear view was horrible.
No offense but you're clearly younger than 20 lol. These cars looked awesome to a kid in the 2000s

thats what makes a built 3v so much fun nothing like having a charger jump on you and you start gapping ... most ppl i race and i start pulling on let out thinking theres something wrong with their car because a 3v pulled on it ... then i tell them i have a inhaler

and not a single cheesy ad in sight besides namedropping some of the stuff he bought or his tuner. it's refreshing.
