      I already know human being is all the time searching for healing exercises, or technics to keep body in balance, mind... Yoga, tai chi, pilates and many many more...     I had to come back to this video to say thank you so much! I've been suffering from pretty bad leg pain for the past few days. Random sharp pains and felt like my leg was out of socket. I did the first exercise in this video this morning before work (didn't have time to do the rest of them). And didn't have any leg pain all day at work. You're a life saver!

    For two weeks I have been dealing with thigh pain 24 hours a day and I could tell there was a place that needed work and I would massage it to no avail. This video helped me target that area and it is so much better! Thank you!!!

    Thank you so much for this video. At 73 I thought I understood all about muscular pain but I suddenly got an awful painful throbbing pain in my right front thing muscle so bad I was in tears. After a bit of Googling I found you on UA-cam …. After around 10 minutes of repeating your thigh knuckle rubbing the pain has stopped, the area is tender but I feel I can take a breath again. Bless you.

    Good. I’d say 70- 80% pain relief instantly. Just did it and feel comfortable. Will see how I feel tomorrow.
    I have chronic pain in legs .

    Hi @DrRowe, my pain released after I did as you suggested in this video. This helps to sleep. I was unable to sleep hole night due to this pain but now its gone. THANK YOU SO MUCH 💓 💗

      Dr Rowe, your ways to explain things are very simple, easy to follow I like them, I am from UK, had my right knee replacement done about 7 months ago, it went well for few months, but now my knee gets stiff on the outer side, I have followed your instructions to soften it, it remains soft for sometime, but then stiffens again, I want to know if there is anything else I can do ?

    You’re a saint! I hurt my leg when stepping in a hole earlier and it was so painful. I did the massage with some skin cream and instant relief. You’re awesome!

    Thanks a lot , i got pain in inner thigh 2 days ago and could hardly sleep for 2hours on previous night . I am used to switching sides in bed and could not move. Last night @ 2 am, I watched your video, followed your exercises and it waa like a miracle. My 50% pain disappeared and i could sleep for 4 hours. I will repeat these exercises for somedays until the pain go away fully.

    I just saw this and thought I'd try these exercises to relieve my left upper thigh pain. I hoped it might work because I've had this pain since having to continuously walk up many stairs at work. I got immediate relief! I am so grateful!!! My thigh warmed up and I thought I overdid the fist pressure, but I guess it was breaking up the "adhesion" and allowing blood to recirculate in that spot... I am going to definitely keep doing these exercises. I'm totally stunned and moving about comfortably now!! God Bless you!! Thank, thank you!! 👍🏽💖🌞

    Played football after a long break. Couldnt move my leg due to thigh pain. Did this massage and it decreased. And i can lift my leg without screaming. Thank you, thank you so much :')

    Dr Rowe great video on how to release pain over the knee. As a physical therapist I notice a lot of knee pain people experience is simply caused my stiff quads and can be easily managed and improved on their own with techniques and stretches like this! I’m a fan of manual therapy and massage and I use it on all of my patients. My favorite stretch for knee health and to keep the quads both mobile and strong are reverse nordics. Although for some it can be challenging kneeling I find it helpful for people to use padding underneath the knee! Give it a try and great post thank you!

      My knees hurts a lot but my thighs hurt even more from lifting 25-50 pound boxes all day working.
      Makes sense my thighs are why my knees hurt.

      Dr. Rowe this helped me with my leg pain today thank you, do you or Dr. Mike have anything for stiff knees having pain? Had total knee replacement 7 years ago, still stiff, doesn't bend right, dr just tells me give it time, when I know something went wrong with surgery! Thanks!

      @@debbiecasalina4475 I work with a lot of patients who suffer from the same problem after knee replacement and I found that addressing the stiffness in your quads and hip flexors can really be effective! I recently made a video on my channel on how to improve knee mobility! I think this could potentially be very helpful for you! Wishing you the best!

    Dr. Rowe I have excruciating pain to the top of my right thigh to the top of me knee. This pain is the so bad I can’t cry 😢I went to my PCP with no answers. Wish me success if there is none I’ll be looking fir a wheelchair. Blessings

    Thank you ! I pray these works , I only get the pain in the upper right thigh after sitting to long ! I had a muscle chemo a few years ago and my body / muscles have never been the same , it hurts so bad as I’m trying to go into a standing position, that midway I have to freeze , then gently rise up until pain subside , it’s the weirdest thing !

    Thank you a ton. I'm on hospice and dealing with terminal restlessness causing me to pace, valium has helped the pacing but you can't stop terminal restlessness. The pain meds I'm on (FYL patches and dilaudid 10mg/ML Hourly PRN Don't help this type of pain at all) thr tennis ball helped. I could actually feel my toes warm up and feel circulation again. It worked great. Thank you!

    I'm an avid walker every day but lately my one leg has been painful from the top of the leg down, I did these excersies and wow it made a good difference, now I rub the thigh like he demonstrates every day😊

    Finally after suffering upper thigh pain in my right leg going to orthopedic tomorrow hopefully get some answers. I will definitely try these techniques to relieve the pain. I can barely lift my foot up to put my sock on in the morning and you should see me trying to lift my leg to get in my Jeep Wrangler.

    I don't know how to Thank you Sir, am a Physiotherapist and suffered from hip pain radiating to my foot for 20 years long ,MRI'S X RAYS, Doctors and Surgeon provided no help , finally your Tennis ball massage over my Pyriformis muscle and got relieved overnight ,it was just a miracle Sir, thanks a lot again ,after that I treated many of my patients suffering from Pyriformis Syndrome just with a ball and a thera gun..

    I've got bone spurs in both of my heels in my feet, esteoarthristis in both of my knees, lower back problems & carpel tunnel in both of my hands all these health problems for years. The massage that is done on the legs I do on my boyfriend's back. I wear a walker boot on my left foot, a knee brace on my right knee & 2 braces for my hands.

    I have had this in my left thigh for over 2 years now. It's for no reason, and I tried everything. Family doctor, no idea, er doctor, no idea. Now I have foot Tendinitis for the last month.

    I think the exercise most suited for my severe and chronic quad pain is the massage technique. Looks like it would feel amazing. I have stage 4 bilateral hip OA and my thighs are in constant pain

    Very nice exercises Dr.
    I'd like to suggest that if your balance is not good, like mine at 76; to do the first type (5:27) place a chair against the wall so as to be able to lean into it while holding the top of the back of the chair, OR by employing a railing of some sort to grab which allows your knees to go forward under it.
    I.E. One does not need to perform this/these positions standing in air trying to keep balance with nothing to hold onto..

    My left thigh, front, about dead center, exactly where you were pointing to, on the first exercise, where you said you're hurting.
    3 questions:
    Can I use a rolling pin instead of knuckles.
    Is this coming from the back? I know you can't diagnose, but it looks like the same place on you. Is yours coming from your back?

    Thanks - the top side of my leg aches considerably (I think it's due to pregnancy, having to lay on the same side for many months - so that it gave my baby more room)...I think it's the top of my femur bone that's aching, difficult to know if it's the bone or the muscle but I will try the exercises that you've suggested, thank you x
