It's an RBB rust bucket. 77-80 were the worst years for MGB..smog and bumpers.. lowest HP.. 68 down from 95 Weight up 300 pounds. Best feature on the car... battery shut off switch. Why no shots of the engine bay? There is such a thing as a car for free that is not worth the price. .. this is one of them.
Pull handle MGBs are the most desirable.You ruined a potentially restorable car. There are some people who just do not understand, nor should own or work on, British cars. I would be embarrassed to post a link .
@@jeffhildreth9244 no worries, I bought my '64 as a stock MGB with a SBC/4-speed already stuffed in it (a REALLY BAD idea, a flexy flyer) I just finished it, and it's BIG FUN (NO MG under it's body now). It's a favorite at the local all British shows here in Northern California. It does EVERYTHING better than any stock MGB and is more reliable. See with new paint/wheels @ 1964 SBC MGB refresh on UA-cam
