I'm posting it here cuz why not. I... tend to tell I'm woke. Or at least, you would identify me as such. I mean, I'm concerned by inequalities, think people could use better life conditions and less shitty-paid jobs, and support LGBT people. But look, I'm not like those portrayed in that video. Sure, there is people like these, and I already met some. But thinking we're all like this is just wrong. If I'm getting robbed by a black man, that looks like a man, and wears ruined clothes, I'm gonna tell it as is : likely homeless black man. I don't care if he's actually a transgender (or transracial lol) or God knows what is the latest trend, he robbed me, no pity. And I'm actually upset by the woman here too !
The point is : I laughed at this because that's legitimately funny. But "woke" became a word that's solely used to despise people, and _this_ isn't what's really going on. We're not stupid, actually. That "segment of the population" you're talking about actually exists - there always is, always were, and always will be, out-of-control people that go totally nuts -, but that's less than 0.01% of the left-leaning people, which is then overrepresented in medias to 100%, precisely because those medias want you to believe there is not discussion that's possible with the "woke morons".
