One bit of advice for new players especially on new accounts ( free accounts ) is so make sure and pick your first virtue from jump street and then do the kill deed quests in each of the zones you mentioned. The stats and effects you gain from virtues can vastly improve your ability to succeed in each successive zone. For free players this also gives the much needed LOTRO coins, which I would spend, personally, on bag space and vault space early on. The quality of life can't be over stated. After that I would get the 78% speed mount upgrade. Again, quality of life and it's account wide. I have found, again, personally, doing the deeds as you level makes much more sense as you get them when you need them and they actually mean something. Going back ( and I have done it this way, it sucked.... ) and doing them later feels like such a time suck when you're over-leveled for the area. It's hard to talk yourself into diligently doing them at later levels, especially when the rewards are so minimal compared to the gear you get. - Take care.
Lonely inn = Forsaken inn** Awesome video, much needed in the Lotro community. A lot of things to cover and nearly impossible to cover in one video alone.
I love that you specifically name quest hubs, especially with how large Breeland is and not knowing where to go. This was clear and gave me a better path to follow than just the zones listed out by level.
Nice guide mate. It deserves an update now as you can go to Cardolan and Swanfleet as well. Loads of stuff to do, great world to explore, months you can play and not discover all. Everyone who likes Tolkien should enter and venture there, no exceptions. Have fun!
The answer is simple just do the main quests, like the book/chapters along them complete few extra deeds and side quests, and move on to the next main quest area and so on.
I usually level to 25 in western Lonelands, equip Tortoise Stone, then switch and do western North Downs, without starting Book 3. Then eastern Lonelands, leveling to 32, completing Book 2. That will let you do the Foreword to Book 3 and gain a stable connection to Candaith's camp near Weathertop. Then back to North Downs and complete Book 3, while staying 32 with the Tortoise Stone, then on to Evendim after that.
Thank you for uploading. I always wanted to play. But stuck in level 20 bcs to many undone quest and dunno where to start again. Moslty slayer quest, time consuming and bore to death
im a long time wow player, since 2004 on and off pretty much - started playing this a few days ago and i really really wanted to get into it but the graphics are dogshit, the game looks bad, runs and plays bad - why if the devs are still fixing and adding xpacs why the hell dont they revamp the graphics?!

Love these guides! I’m a returning player after years away and feel like a lost newbie. Really appreciate your work!
I'm glad you are enjoying them and that they are of some help.

Super helpful! Thank you so much for this!
7:48 It's easier to go through the middle route. The west has drakes and the east orcs. The middle is just clear and less time travelling to.
I was not aware of this middle route. I only saw the left and right routes
Best guide i've found, thanks man!
Gee I wish I had seen this video a year ago when I started.
Great video mate!
