Very true. Even the most Dedicated and Passionate doctors who opted for this profession become Disillusioned or Lose their Will/Desire/Interest along the way and end up working just because they don't have any other options as it's too late. Continuing on this path especially in India requires Patience to deal with Department politics/Hospital Management/Patients and their Attenders who always think we are out to get their money/Own Family as we barely get enough time to spend with them. These are things which no one explains when we chose this path. At the end of the day if you are peace with missing out on stuff which you could've done had you taken a different path then this Profession is for you.

      Not at all bro
In MBBS you get a good amount stipend
After passing MBBS you can easily practice as a doctor
Join any govt hospital as a house staff which also pays you well
You can join pvt hospitals after that as a RMO
      Which also pays you well
There are several government vacancies also
(Trust me,competition is very less there)
Which you can easily join and earn well
      Now lets come to PG
As a PG in a government hospital pays you very well
Then after completing PG you can easily join any govt, pvt hospitals or set up your own clinic
You get a really really Good amount of money
So I know doctors have to study hard and work Hard
But trust me doctors have really really stable financial life
There are several departments also there your
      "on call" load is less
I know someone who is a child specialist age around 40
He is a MBBS and after that done DCH(diploma in Child health)
Now he is earning a very good amount and have a good upper class life
      He has 3 clinics
No "on call" No "night shifts"
      Living a peaceful life

After doing MBBS,PG,SS only then as a doctor you can earn a decent amount

my entire family has doctors! , i am 17 rightnow , my cousin she was selected in aiims after my birth . i remember all-through these 17 yrs she has only studied , rarely came home , she completed her MBBS,MD,DM, some examination n sleep cycle (sorry i really dont know) after her marriage (my jiju is also a doctors MD,DM,MBBS he was from afmc) let me tell you, she had to shift to diffferent city due jiju"s bond with some college/state/hospital , i wont lie she got selected at a very good post at top 2 hosptials of city and obviously her skills etc ,with very very high salary just bcoz of her degree . Definitely very hardworking journey of 15-16 yrs and more but the respect , love , money , fame you get from society is unparalled !

      @@theguider33yes that's why everyone starting a business is a millionaire 😂
Bro get back to reality. And stop watching those become a millionaire in a day shorts
Of course after becoming a doctor many people opt to open their own clinics and hospitals ( essentially doing business) but that doesn't mean that it is easy to become a millionaire without any sort of formal education.
The amount of iitians with successful startups are more than people without any formal education
Also doctors don't earn in pennies
Experienced doctors can earn up to 15 lakhs a month

I've made up my mind but somewhere this thing of pressure is always knocking at my mind's door........can somebody suggest me what to do???
My parents want me to become a doctor and i can't ignore their dreams which they want me to fulfill..... I think i can manage but this stories of all the pressures and depression are always making me rethink about my decision again and again .... What to do now???

But i think nowadays after this much education, teaching, training, when they become Doctor ( in the terms decided by so called Universities and Different medical Departments ) they behaves ( except some really kind ) either like they knows every thing even if they don't decide without doing too much tests or they gets very big Ego and behaves rudely with their patients and their Relatives mainly in Government Hospitals ( this is not just heard by someone but experienced by me multipal times )😒
In Old days Doctors mostly treat their patients not only with medicine but also by giving words of sympathy like their own childs. 🤗
I think the reason of this change is nowadays education in this field is too much costly and they try to make them succesful Doctors rather than healer and so this profession becomes more of money making than passion....! 😒
If anybody can stop all this than it should be Doctors like you who can change the mindset of other Doctors as mentioned above....! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I actually wanted to become an isro scientist since my childhood. My role modal was Kalpana Chawla and I grew up learning facts about space and universe but when I came in 9th class, all my dreams shattered knowing that I'm not very good in deep analysis and maths obviously and then in class 10th, i thought of becoming a cardiologist as I'll get the opportunity to save people's lives and i am opting for PCMB ( maths as a side subject ) and will start preparing for neet and want to be a super specialist but at the same time i wish to travel in different countries and do some adventure so that before death i dont have any guilty that i have missed seeing the world. Also i want to be an influential person who can raise their voice for the bad thoughts of the society and wants to write a book about the evil social roots. As a person whose 11th didn't go well I recommend you to study hard in 11th attent all the lecture solve DPP after every lecture revise the previous lectures before going to new lecture for eg going to watch lec 4 of mole concept revise lec 1 2 3 and please make the best use of your time 11th is too crucial please understand it's importance having good class 11th will give you a 2x boost in class 12th
      Good luck junior ❤

There are certain fallacies in your description... Firstly, only a small percentage of students get past NEET UG in one attempt, and again only a handful of doctors get past NEET PG in their internship year! So, by the time one completes MD or MS, he or she is usually 29 years old. And the bond is not uniform in all States... So, after you complete your bond service, mostly you are 30+

Actually wrong ..by age 24 u complete mbbs with internship..then 1 to 2 year of preparation and startinng of pg at around age 25 or 26..thereafter 3 years to complete pg..so u complete pg at the age mostly 30, rarely at 29..so never at age 26😅 but this is mostly for who qualify neet pg with either 1 to 2 year of preparation..great proportion of students cant qualify neet pg with 1or 2 years of preparation which is the reality

I am a nursing student. But at some point my family really wanted me to try neet. I tried but wasn't interested. Couldn't clear it . But I was very lost at what to do . Everyone around me kept encouraging me for neet , something I wasn't interested in doing. And I couldn't see how to proceed after mbbs . Nobody talked about neet pg, ss or anything else. I hate the hype around neet. They don't want you to clear vision pretty often. It's more of a publicity stunt at this point.
