    today's video was a little unscripted- but i hope you all enjoy it nonetheless!! there is some moments where i pause and keep repeating the same thing because im looking for the words for my next point, so just ignore those lol.
    let me know how you liked this video! it took me forever to make and i hope it was worth it. i want to make the best quality content for all of you, so if anything is wrong please tell me! i appreciate critiques.

    Oh my gosh thank you for this! There's so much misinformation on the objective levels of skills of idols due to these ktube channels that just have these spicy hot takes or even present themselves as calm and 'informative' on things. Every time I invite new friends to my group and they see me talk about singing objectively they're like "huh??? wait? I've been told a lie??". This is due to the many misconceptions that are spread around now regarding this. It's THAT bad atm. People think great idols are bad and people think bad idols are great. It's wild.

      RIGHT! especially that wendy video calling her a bad vocalist in the title- like watching any of her other performances proves that point wrong.

    What upsets me over and over as well is the huge difference in views on these videos. It's like all the toxic ktube content or all the disingenuous get like hundreds and thousands of views. Whereas there's so many real authentic kpop enthusiasts out there on ktube who only get like idk max 20-100 views for an absolute banger of a video. I've seen so many ktube videos that deserved like 100k views and ktubers that deserve 100k subs. And then we have... things like Kookielit. How can actual fans even compete with alleged content farm teams that mass produce videos daily? It's unfair. I feel viewers should be more responsible too. Stop watching these stupid poor shorts, start watching real content. I beg 😭

    • @belllievia
      @belllievia  7 місяців тому +5

      i wouldnt be surprised if the people behind the channels had no interest in kpop at this point. they all feel made only for revenue and im sick of it. not to mention content like that is constantly shoved in our faces because shorts are everywhere. everytime i go to open youtube on my phone? its a short. and since im into kpop that short has a very good chance of being one of these ridiculous content farm shorts. i hope as a community we can all boost the good videos and report the disgusting ones like i mentioned in the video.

      @@belllievia Oh my gosh I feel you so much. I know I have a very wild take, but imo shorts don't belong on youtube really. I know some people enjoy them and not all shorts creators are toxic/unserious, but I can't help but to feel it damages the normal average channel rather than helping it. People will just click a short instead of a well produced video now, which is sad. Originally they were supposed to rake in new people on your channel, but I only see people stick to the shorts and not move on to the real videos instead. And if they do: They don't have the attention span to sit through a video longer than 10-15 mins. The average watch time will drop to like max 1-2 mins for a 30 min video. Which is saaaad. I do agree we as a ktube community need to work together to fix this problem!

    It's so unfortunate that ktubers like these are who usually get the most subscribers and views. Yet positive and talented don't 🙄😭 like I for one, I'm not very talented honestly BUT I do positive videos but yet I'm almost 3 years in and not even at 2k yet

    This is why I really don't like news based ktube content. Like I GET having inflammatory thumbnails for engagement, I've done it. But they will straight up lie in those thumbnails or just say really disgusting things... Just very boring content. And god I hate the "KPOP UNPOPULAR OPINIONS THAT WILL GET YOU TRIGGERED" thing. It's honestly so disheartening seeing that lazy content get the most views on this platform, because some of us work so hard on our content; it's purely just rage bait.

    • @belllievia

  • @nmixxcoaster

    Thanks for talking on this topic! As a ktuber, it really upsets me when I see some creators getting views effortlessly with content, which is harmful, because they want drama. I'm trying to create content, which will be liked by the audience, and that's probably why I don't get much views lately - because people want DRAMA, not videos about praising idols in a good way.

    Oh my gosh how are you so underrated? I completely agree. I think all the toxicity is soo normalized to the point that people start thinking “wait people will love my videos if I say this?” and it’s especially sad to see young fans fall into this. Most of them don’t even AGREE on what they are saying, they just clearly wish to be famous and loved on some level. I used to have this tik tok account which started off really sweet since I am a nice person after all but since I got literally 0-100 views and I saw this “toxic” and “problematic opinions” content getting millions of views even, I started making that type of content. It made me soo anxious to get so much support and hate at the same time. Overall on tiktok I just believed everything I saw and gave into others opinions. I deleted all my accounts when I realized how toxic tiktok made me and currently Im 5 months free from tiktok💓
    I hope we can normalize positive content again. No kids/young teens deserve death threats for just making content that everyone else does yk? Of course it’s a different story when it comes to adults/UA-camrs since they make money off stupid drama.

    If you ever wondered why you don't get views and is floping, the reason might be that your content is not toxic, you want to spread positivity and don't make hateful videos, ppl just like to pretend they're all for positivity while letting those positive videos flop
