Just wanted to drop a comment saying thank you for this awesome comparison video. This video showed me exactly what I wanted to see between the trims. My local dealership only has ONE RAM Hurricane and it's a bare bones Big Horn. This video made up my mind that I'm going with a RAM (I was also considering an F150) 1500 SST Big Horn Level 2. Thanks again. I'll also call this dealership and let them know them letting you shoot this video got RAM a sale.
I don’t understand why people wouldn’t want more power and torque even if it’s an inline 6 twin turbo. I have a 5.7 and I love the sound, but other than that, I am wanting the new Ram. I have had two Rams so far a 2010, 2018 and I am looking at the 2025 Ram. I love the interior, ride, exterior and the overall performance of the Ram
Only reason I'm looking at these is because my local dealership (and I assume Stellantis) is putting massive cash on the hoods of these things right now. At my dealership they have 5 or 6 of these from 40k-42k brand new right this second. Tons of cash on the hood. Making me half interested in trading in my 2021 Chevy Colorado.
September 2024, Currently 15% off MSRP. Dealer in Huntsville is discounting up to $10,000 off, plus the manufacturer rebate! The 24's gotta move, and some dealers are aggressive.
great info video, I just picked up Lemarie night edition with few other upgrades. Lemarie feels like LIMITED EDITION with right upgrades & you save few thousand dollars.
Good review. Between a big horn night edition or Laramie sport. Only thing I’m not a fan of are the big horn wheels. They are black plastic clad covers.
I’m in the ‘25 Laramie this week. Great truck. Only thing I wish it has is the surround camera of the upper trims. Still a slight bull in a china shop feeling in urban parking lots.
I was torn between the night edition big horn and the Laramie sport. I like the night edition looks slightly better but the interior on the Laramie is much nicer so I went with the Laramie.
I can’t get over all the engines on those RAM trucks are sourced out of Mexico. Nice trucks but against my large purchase fundamentals, support as many American jobs as possible.
@leecrumble3921 yah, I believe you are right. Thanks! Think is, it seems between 75k-125k people start having issues with the oil cooler leaking or rocker tick...however, then I hear how Ling the motor can run... it's tough to make a decision on whether to buy a truck with that motor.
The prices of these new trucks are insane... You guys buy or lease the new ones that deprecate $1k a month the first 2 years. Then I'll pick one up used 2-3 years old for half price.
Thank you you did good job on this video all those three trucks looks great i comparing those trucks to my 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn the 2019 Ram looks a lot nicer From outside and inside
this is exactly why I have not got a ram lol, it’s so damn confusing buying a ram , some tow 7000lbs some tow 10,000 lbs, it’s almost impossible to tell what toes what … i need a truck that can tow over 10,000lbs been searching for a ram for months and it’s impossible to find
@@CTECH-REVIEW they over complicate it causing people to buy something else :) nissan titians are nice it’s simple , it’s either 9000 tow capacity for all models or 11,000 tow capacity for the XD that’s it no in between hidden stats and so on. I just feel when shopping for a ram most models are melons and have terrible stats only a few and very few will actually have good stats .
if you are looking to tow 10,000 pounds stop looking at 1500 class trucks, none of these are meant to do that. They rate that high yes but nothing in their drive line is intended to two this for extended periods of time, it's very hard on a vehicle to tow at 90% and above your max two rating.
Good review. I’m seeing a front camera on the grill. I’d like to see how to access and view it. I’ve heard no dipstick. Show how you check the oil. What do the drive modes do? As in dose it just put the vehicle in 4wd or does it actually do something?
Its not a front camera...I thought that too, its a dummy spot where a camera would go. Drive modes help with trans tuning/engine calibration, possibly ABS sensativity! Drive modes on Ford trucks have a big change between them!
Can you please test if the auto/start has to be disabled every time you turn on the car or it keeps your old setting, where if you want it always disabled. thank you
You doing a video on the RHO? Curious what you have to say, I'm looking at buying a sport offroad truck this year for a personal, but already have a 22 f150 lariat high pckg that I'm going to use as a work truck but when I looked at the 24 Raptor 35 it just seemed like alot of the same even though it's a Raptor.
2019 looks the best yet and v6 e torque enough power and good on gas all you need in a ram 1500. like the saying goes you can scratch your arse or tear it to pieces you decide.
@CTECH-REVIEW It is! A friend of mine has one and in PR where we pay 20% over the MSRP and he got that one for $63k. Big horn, backcountry with technology package 3, panoramic sunroof, 2 tones, off road pakg, have everything on it! Rebel here are over $77k (basic) 2024.
Laramie is always overpriced unless there are substantial dealer discounts and manufacturer rebates. Traditionally, the Laramie's rebates are always less than Big Horns. When they have the 15% off all, deal isn't too bad. BUT still a big price gap between a nicely equipped Big Horn and Laramie..
$59k for that bottom trim is a joke. Way too high for the features offered. And honestly, I'm not seeing anything in these trucks that would convince me not to buy a GMC Sierra instead.
that 12 inch screen looks out of place to me, truck looks much better with the 8.4 screen, the 12 inch screen just looks like it’s to big for its own good looks awkward tbh.
They changed the outside of the truck, new engine, but kept the inside the same. An then made a price tag through the roof. Guess I’ll be going back to GM 😢.
Yes the only change inside is the display and gauges. Both the GM and the Ram are nice trucks. I personally like the Ram just for the hurricane engine over the GM truck.
@@CTECH-REVIEW Thks for the reply. Was trying to provoke to get an answer. I am in Europe hoping import a full size (RHO?). I am 6′10" and noticed the 40.9 front leg is way below that of Sierra (44.5) and even Brco Wildtrak (43.1). Any suggestion welcome :-)
@@user-pq5bk1vp3g Yes I'm 6'8 and I will say the leg room is tighter on the Ram vs the Ford and GM. I tried a GM and while it does have more leg room the lack of adjustable pedals made it feel like the pedals where closer then the Ram, also when you put the seat all the way back in the GM the armrest on the door is to far farward and felt uncomfortable. The Ford is honestly the best as it has a longer front door so it just works better when you have the seat back you are not sitting behind the B Piller and it is easier to get in, I'm just not a big Ford guy and find the styling boring. I ending up getting a Ram again.
I just purchased a 2025 bighorn trim 2 midnight edition. Upgraded from a 2022 bighorn midnight. I love the new truck
Nice upgrade! I bet that’s a great truck.
Fantastic comparison. I've watched a lot of RAM reviews. This is one of the best.
Wow, thanks! That’s awesome. I hope you enjoy my channel. A lot of comparison videos!

Suspense! Did you decide on Big Horn or Laramie?
@@precisionsoundworksstudio Laramie! The interior was the primary reason, exterior look of the grille + bigger wheels OEM was the secondary reason.

24 Ford F-150 XLT or 25 Ram 1500 Big Horn?
