Such a beautiful space! I love the fireplace and the mantel around it. Would you be able to share the dimensions of the mantel and built-in cabinetry? Or tips for deciding how big to build the fireplace for a 17 feet wall?

I came across these lovely white shiplap built ins in one of your portfolios and used that as a design inspiration to get shelves done in our living room! Ive been struggling to really get the decor in the shelves right and this just made my day!! quick question: if you have really graphic art work in the room (I'm talking geometric shapes, all possible colors), how do you choose colors for the decor in the shelves??

So I guess it's a lesson, but who's home is this? Are there any pieces that mean anything to her at all? Could anyone live here? She described her shelves as a burden? Why would anyone install a component that caused them such despair? And then find relief in objects that don't matter to them? Such consumption, no heart.
Glenda Isaac sometimes finding a start point can be daunting. This video is just to help people get started. Try not to read too much into it! She ended up replacing some of the accessories with personal trinkets and family photos.
those 2 armchairs chairs are yuck. putting dark blue and white chairs would have been a better choice.
Huge bookcase but hardly any books. Really? This is more like a showroom then something in a home.
Owning the amount of books to fill this entire built-in would be a dream! But a decorating opportunity/"showroom" is just as exciting for some people! We don't see any problem with wanting to fill your home with more decor, but to each their own :)
