Show some cozy spaces? Your larger projects are very impressive! But most people aren't able to afford to live that way and still want to be able to create a beautiful, sophisticated look in a smaller space.
Agree on Studio McGee items being huge! They are out of scale in my small house. Even decor I’ve gotten from their website looked great online and totally out of scale in my 1500 sq ft home. If my house was 3000+, it might have been more to scale. I like small n cozy spaces and want ideas to make them beautiful too
Thank you for the tips! I would love to see more videos on styling & maximizing smaller spaces (apartments, corners, entrances), wall images, mirror selections & lighting.
I struggle with picking out pillows and curtains that add interest to a room , so that it's not too busy but at the same time not too safe. A video on this will be much appreciated!
Thank you Shea! I’m so excited for this new series! I really appreciate how you go into depth and explain the reasons for your styling selections. It is so helpful! I would love to see anything and everything you are willing to share!
Dear Shea, My name is Di and I'm from Sydney Australia,I've just purchased your book for myself for Xmas and It's my bible ha ha I read it every night once my husband and daughter have gone to bed. you are amazing mum, wife and business woman. I will be heaven if you post your how to videos. Xx Di from downunder
I love learning design from you! I have purchased both of your books and they are amazing. I would love to see a tutorial on how to style surfaces, i.e. counters, consoles, coffee tables, etc.
Love all your videos! I would love to see more behind the scenes working at the design studio, in depth process of the designers working with client to create mood boards to final plan. Also, the entire process of designing new products and how to go about getting them manufactured. That would be awesome!!😍
And how you personally went about designing and commercially manufacturing your first ever product. From your book you mentioned you started with pillows, but how did you jump from that to having furniture, lighting and decor produced? Being a designer, how did work out how that different business process operates? I run a small Traditional Chinese Medicine business (with background as a trained potter, and photographer) and I would love to perhaps one day, commercially develop related products in my field, and even though your field is different, seeing behind the scenes at that process would be very inspirational 🙂
I loved this bedmaking video, thank you! I would also love to see your tips on shelf styling/bookcase styling, and how to style an entry console table. Thank you for sharing your wonderful design ideas!
Its way too warm here in Sydney Australia for so many layers. How do I get the hotel look with 1 quilt in Summer and a feather quilt in Winter? Where do you put all the cushions at night? Thanks
Great video! Gorgeous bed styling. I would like help with drapes. Where do you buy quality drapes that match the styling of the bed in this video? I am struggling with this.
Beautiful styling tips for a bed!! I agree with you about having a fluffly duvet vs a coverlet. I like to sleep with fluffy bedding regardless of the temperature!!! It looks so more substantial and inviting!!!
This is so helpful! I'm so excited about these educational videos! I'd like to delve deeper into design proportions, for example... how to match the right coffee table to a sofa, how big a rug should be, the size of lamps in a room or on the bedside table.
Love to also see...how to style pantry/back kitchen shelves and organization. How to style entryway indoor console table. How to style front porch. What to put on a large kitchen center island.
Hi Shea, I love all the projects you do. Thank you for sharing your expertise. If you could show us some styling tips for regular homes (meaning smaller and sometimes older homes) that would be great. Thanks!
I’d like to see videos on furniture placement, or how to choose window treatments for various window sizes. A lot of us live in homes that were built in the 80s or 90s. Rooms aren’t symmetrical, fireplaces are off center, windows are oddly placed, maybe too high or not centered. How to hang curtains in a kitchen nook with angled walls?
Shea and Studio McGee team, thank you for these educational videos!!! I am a huge fan of yours and I have been waiting for this for a long time! I am interested in everything you have to share in this series! Could you please teach/show us how to design a kitchen? Lots of love from Argentina!
Yes! I’d love to learn more about how to work with the colors you can’t easily change-flooring, trim, cabs and countertops in my case-to decide on a updated color palette that can help drive selections for new furniture, rug and decor. I’m updating the living room side of my great room space and need any tips I can get!
Thank you so much this helped a great deal and showing us different was was very helpful can you show us how to set two to three shelves with books and some decor thank you so much have a blessed day
Lots of us have area rugs that have enough pile that another rug on top really doesn't work. Ideas of how to bring more texture, pattern interest to a room when you are stuck with that beige carpet?
So glad you’re doing these videos. I do have your book which is beautiful. I’d also love to see videos on more detailed things like what to put on top of the nightstands or on a foyer table which I always have trouble with.
Hi Shea thank you for the tips and decorations they look amazing and wonderful. Can you give tips on what type of sofas can one use for the bedroom. Much appreciated for all the decor, you're a Guru.
I love this!! Staying in the bedroom, I would really like to see how you would decorate behind/above the bed. I’d also love to see how you would style around a media console/sideboard in the living room.
Great video. I would like to see how you style picture frames above sofas. Sizes, textures where to buy them, where to get the photos and the proper matting. Thx
Thank you for sharing sharing your knowledge and talent! I would like to see any of your educational videos but I'll also be more specific and suggest styling an outdoor space.
I would love to see minimal Built In styling, along side the Fireplace and also minimal Kitchen Countertop styling please. My husband & I live in Utah, as well!!!❤😊
This is so helpful! I would love to see more videos on kids rooms, styling a kids room etc. I’m kind of lost as to what to do with my kids rooms. I did take Shea’s tip of asking them for colors and then going more muted with those colors and that was brilliant!
Thanks for linking up the bed sheets. I love tender sheets! I used to style beds for a very extravagant department store. Great content! I would like to see styling up rooms with furniture placement. I’m new to channel and love your style
Hi Studio McGee, thank you for your tips on making a bed. I would like to see what some of the ways are to peel back a bed for sleep. thank you so much for your demos.
I absolutely love your design styles Shea. The tips are so helpful. I would be so grateful for a video with tips for styling a great room with a corner fireplace. I truly can’t stand corner fireplaces but we don’t have another option currently. Please help if you can! Thanks!
Really enjoy watching how Shea puts her bedding together so nicely and hearing her thought process about why she does what she does. I got her book and decorating takes time and you need a good eye for detail so before I make any purchases I like to study and research. I would like to see the items put on a link with sizes of pillows (i.e. big, medium, small doesn't tell us the actual size). Shea is using for ease of finding on her official website. I am watching the video and going to the website but seeing difference is color (i.e. the duvet is chocolate online versus hearing "rust" on video, the pillow is charcoal on website versus hearing "blue"). I just want to make sure I am buying the right item so there are no surprises or returns. If a link was given that would take us right the merchandise. Shea does a fabulous job and appreciate the educational videos since dressing a bed is an art! Beautifully presented:)
this was awesome and so doable! please keep sharing more of this! also can you guys do a video on how to hang our curtains and drapes to make it look designer? thank you!
Hi Shea! I love your how-to vids. I would love to see a vid on how to style a room with a darker wood antique peice as a starting point. I have several heirloom peices like this but all the videos I see on the internet use lighter antiques. Thank you for your wonderful videos!
I really loved seeing all the options of styling!! Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to show us. I am not a fan of a million pillows. I just like having two on the bed. I had several for a few years and my husband and I are minimalists and we just were not enjoying it and reduced down again. I make quilts, so that part is simple for me to add to the bed, which I usually drape over not under.
Would be interesting to see how to style bed with two duvets, me and my husband use separate single duvets, can’t figured out how to style it better. Thank you ❤
Hi, perhaps you may have already shown the following- how to choose the correct size and style night tables for a small bedroom with a bed that has an upholstered headboard. Also in order not to be so matchy- matchy , how would you coordinate the night tables with the main dresser so that it does not look piece meal either. Thanks, I love your instructional videos.
Eu escolheria a base neutra (off white ou bege claro) edredons e almofadas nesses tons, mais claros, talvez com estampas pequenas, como por exemplo flores
Love your style!! Very helpful video! I would love to see how to style some of the "not so pretty" items in your home. For example, some puzzles and legos without having to have a dedicated game/media room for it.
Living room shelf styling, please! I change mine up all the time-but find I get bored quickly. Would love to learn your ethos on fundamental pieces as well as those that are good to swap out throughout the seasons. Especially since we’re transitioning from winter shortly (at least here in Ca!). Thank you! and PS. Your book is on my coffee table. Just lovely!
You can shop this bedding & more here: bit.ly/McGeeBedding
Have your book. This video makes it come alive. Thanks
Love to hear that! Thank you! 😘@@annemcmahon7350

Show some cozy spaces? Your larger projects are very impressive! But most people aren't able to afford to live that way and still want to be able to create a beautiful, sophisticated look in a smaller space.
Couldn’t agree more, most of their furniture is so big it also can’t be used in urban settings. A shame because i would like to buy it
Agree on Studio McGee items being huge! They are out of scale in my small house. Even decor I’ve gotten from their website looked great online and totally out of scale in my 1500 sq ft home. If my house was 3000+, it might have been more to scale. I like small n cozy spaces and want ideas to make them beautiful too
Totally agree. They are not realistic
You can get the Ideas from what is shown. Just incorporate into your small scale decor. It can work for yous, since yous like, and do follow!!
I agree. Show smaller homes for us middle class folks! LOL 😂
Thank you for the tips! I would love to see more videos on styling & maximizing smaller spaces (apartments, corners, entrances), wall images, mirror selections & lighting.

That's how I style all my beds in my home. I love watching your tube videos.
Great video! I like how in depth you went with explaining the reasoning behind each decision and offering alternative options. Really informative!
So glad! Thank you so much! ❤
It was so helpful to see it all in action rather than a still picture. Thank you.
So glad! Thank you 💞

Living room shelf styling, please! I change mine up all the time-but find I get bored quickly.
Would love to learn your ethos on fundamental pieces as well as those that are good to swap out throughout the seasons. Especially since we’re transitioning from winter shortly (at least here in Ca!).
