Still have my Heli M!!! Thing still drives tacks at 60 yards 10 years later!!! I will probably eventually get one of the newer Mathews bows, but will always have my Heli M as a backup bow!! When my son is old enough, I’ll pass the Heli M on to him!

I got a Halon 32-6 in 2017.....they wanted me to trade in my 2012 Heli-m. No chance I'd let that little bow go.

Long-time firearms guy, but shot a #45 recurve for fun for many years... Got invited to a bows-only guided hunt next year (2024) in Alberta, and purchased this bow used and completely tricked-out from a reputable local retailer this-year for that hunt. This is my first compound, and I'm still amused by the IBO speed numbers game, and how it's still going on. It's like "magnumitis" for gun-guys. If every bow nowadays has an IBO in the 350+ range, and everyone swears you need that to kill deer/elk/hogs whatever...then how did anyone ever drop a deer 10, 20, 20, 40 years ago ?? It's not like the animals now are wearing body armor... The retailers and marketing guys would have you believe that you need a .300 PRS to drop an Elk out West, when a .30-06 did it extremely well for 6 decades.
When you're shooting a 475-500 gr arrow/ BH combo at ~275 fps anyways in a hunting setup, all that speed hype makes it sound like this bow, and ones before it are obsolete.
Are older bows obsolete if they still get the job done ? How much "hunting power" am I giving-up by using a 10-year-old bow ? I just don't get it.
For the record, Gold-tip Hunter XT 400, Iron Will Wide 125 with bleeders, 75 grain brass insert.

My 1st bow was a Mission Riot in 2012 started out at 45# draw seem like it took forever to get to max 70# I heard a lot about this bow at the time. The bow shop had only 1 in stack at the time I wanted to try it out it was set ay 70# I had no problem pulling it and it was smooth drawing. I gave the shop $75.00 to hold it for me 2 days later it was mine. I still couldn't draw 60 # on the Riot but the Helim was no problem.
