I had been seeing fresh elk tracks at this spot and was lucky enough to have this 6x6 bull come in. I got a good clean shot at 30 yards! Thanks for Watching! thaHooligan
Thanks man! Your comment on my other video popped up in my email, but it didn't show up on my video for some reason so I couldn't respond. Cool to know another local youtuber and thanks for the sub, I got ya back and I'll check out your video as well man. 👍
yea I'll be back out this week or weekend for deer. I had 3 bucks come by before the elk, but couldn't get a clear shot at the one I wanted. hey maybe I should do an elk jerky giveaway! haha
Came back to leave a comment.. guess i forgot cause i was just as freaked as you were.. that's a lifetime trophy, bro. such a great Kill. invite me over for dinner.
I'm still using it! I've thought about getting something newer, but this one still shoots great and its light weight. I've killed elk, deer, hogs, bobcats, and coyotes with it, it gets the job done every time!
No Christmas now you killed Santa's transportation, lol Question, do you eat it or just make some kinda jacket or sale it to some guy that chop it up and sales it or do you hang it on the wall? nice kill.
Some people take them to the butcher to be processed, but it costs several hundred bux, so we do it ourselves and yea we eat it. "We" being me and my family. None of it is sold. I will have the skull mounted and we will probably get the hide tanned. Thanks for watchin man!
+Matt West that has crossed my mind a few times. just wasnt sure about making another separate channel for hunting and shooting videos since I dont really post on a regular basis. Its just when I get an idea or feel like shooting and recording it. The hunting part is also very unpredictable since I dont shoot everything I see. Actually my channel started out shooting and hunting. It was only about the past 6 months that I started doing more motovlog type videos.
thaHooligan well it can be something to consider, with you having one side being motovlogging, that attracts a certain crowd, then a hunting channel could attract a different crowd, two channels but managed at different times a year so it wouldn't be over whelming. seems both would benefit from your shooting vids, just one for hunting/fishing would have it's own staple of viewers/subs, and like wise the other.
Man, that is awesome!!! I've been putting in for drawings ever since I moved to Lawton,Ok. I'm hoping to get drawn before they put me in the ground. 😏

Dude congratulations on that beautiful 6x6. my uncle got a Kansas 5x6 last year. So you hunt, shoot and ride bikes, I'm thrilled I subbed.
+Chris F hell yea! thanks Chris! \m/
Great job! File this one under: "How to fill the freezer with meat in one shot". Cheers and congratulations.
+Tim Kreitz Adventures thanks Tim! it definitely filled my freezer and a few family members freezers! lol
Bro you have to send me some jerky if you make any!
Fuck the bow must have some power , that arrow went straight through it. wow. who's mathew helim? oh just googled it and it's the bow .
yea that's the bow I use. it's set on 70 pounds, compound bows are pretty powerful.
That thing was huge and it only took one shot to bring it down.
Makes me want to try it one day.
I was trying out the head mount that day and the arrow flight was blocked by the bow. bummer, but lesson learned. thanks for checkin it out.
How did you like that bow, just picked up used one for cheap

Ya know I'm startin to think that you aught to have an outdoors channel.

what county???
+Mike Watts this was in the special southwest zone, which consists of Kiowa, Comanche, and Caddo counties.
Private land I'm assuming?
