That was my first bow. When I was like 22. I'm 35 now. I shot it up until like 8 years ago. It shot so good. I could literally hit a quarter at 2p yards 9 out of 10 times. I had the regular q2 without the harmonic dampners. At least I don't remember if it had them.
Helk yeah love this bow! This was my first bow. Gave it to my brother a few years ago and he used it to get his first archery elk. Classic.
I have two that are identical set ups that I hunt with each fall. These are some of the smoothest most forgiving bows that I"ve ever shot. The proshop that I purchased the bow from in '99 at the time offered free servicing for life. Pretty sure the bow techs hate me and this bow as I bring it in each year for inspection and servicing and then remind them on the service ticket to waive the labor charges because it's still "under warranty." lol
Mine is 20 years old and was given to me by my uncle, still my main bow
A classic for sure. Dang good shooting g bow!
Picked one up mint time capsule$100
got one; love it- even at my low draw weight (42#) it is still a smooth shooting, accurate bow....
My stepdad just gave me this same bow yesterday I can’t wait to tune it out new string and all on and get to shootin it
I’ve been looking for one of these used for a few years. You can still get parts for these if you need to. Cool video.
nice series , you going manufacturer to manufacturer in this ?
I bought that bow off of the rack and hunted with it till 2007 and sold it and bought the Hoyt Katera and have been kicking myself every since. I have been looking to buy another one but haven't been able to find one and that one you have is exactly the same draw length and poundage . Man I loved that bow it shot great and put a lot of venison on the table.
That is awesome
Reezen was 2009
Back when Mathews made great bows and that were unique. Todays bows are so similar and really not that much difference
do you think today's Mathews can last 20years?
Easily
I still hunt with a MQ1 made 98-02
