In awe, nearly 99 percent beautiful and positive responses to this...I was right to do this and I was right to offer love in the face of so much heartache. Finally in a place of clarity, free from addiction after 30 years of abuse and 15 years of incarceration, I was very angry and resentful to those around me but more importantly I was angry and resentful to myself for allowing my life spiral so far away from who I truly am. I had to come to terms with the things I had done and wouldn’t let them define me and steal the joy from my life. I wish now to be able to inspire others to change their own situations but just don’t really know how. Wow what an inspiration you are. You help restore my faith in humanity and a great example of how love can triumph all boundaries. I hope you are filled with the peace of knowing you made a difference in my life

Anyone who's seen the fear of 13 will know that his story has been independently verified (not that anyone could make it up). Simple, uneducated comments without a lot of substance fall on deaf ears and are mostly not real people or accounts anyways, so I would urge folks not to waste their energy on such things. Shout out to the person that defended you in that tic toc on the very first comment that said... blah blah blah you do the crime you do the time!
So many people came to to your defense and that is how I knew your name!
I hung on your every word.... I believed every word you said because you said it with such passion and such conviction! If we don't advocate for ourselves, nobody will advocate for us! You advocated yourself right off of death row and walked right out of the prison a free man😊
