Fantastic video! You never cease to amaze me in your funny, resilient and very informative way of getting these old beasts to run. I'm sure you've been told this millions of times, but you are an inspiring and great teacher. I had a 62 C10 in about the same shape and changed its starter in the parking lot of a gas station in the pouring rain laying in a puddle. Looking forward to getting my 86 Bronco dialed in with your helpful hints.

I’ve really enjoyed your channel. You set a great example of a hard working Dad and family man. You definitely deserve all your success. This video is one of my favorites because I’m a big fan of the old farm trucks being brought back to life. I’ve saved a few myself through the years. It’s rewarding to put them back in service. I’m a Jeep nut so when I saw that old Gladiator in the background, I was hoping you could do a future video of going back and saving that one too. I’d love to come up and drag her back home.

I have been starting engines out on the ground sitting in pastures since the 70's. I just rebuilt an Autolite carb' on the kitchen table , this evening. It was from a 1967 F600 Ford farm truck sitting in a field and hasn't been started in more than 10 years. It gets in your blood...I love your laid back attitude. I am more inclined to throw a 25 cent cuss word in there every now and then. LOL Keep on bringing the old ones back alive !!!!

The c10 we have in our family was a 1964 sidestep variant with a long-bed used on the farm. My dad got it for the first time in the 90's and rebuilt it's engine from scratch. Right now it is named Lazarus because it has been restored all over it over 3 times and the most recent was about 3-4 years ago.

my neighbor had one that burnt a valve. He took the head off to take the valve out and slapped it back together missing one entirely. ... ironically, that was 1989. Things changed so fast. I remember the generation that taught me.. bitching about the brand new electronic TBI in the trucks. If some of them could see them still running 30 years later.. I wonder what they'd say.
