My keys was always attached to my handlebars so when pricks tryed to steal my keys all they could do was take them out the ignition but not ride off with them I'm surprised more bikers don't do this to prevent the keys being stolen at lights and in traffic

My bike won't let you remove the keys while the ignition is on. You have to turn them to the off position first.

Well you are lucky you got off lightly, these are the type of kids that end up being stabbed and their mothers say "they are such good boys, never say boo to anything" the police are not given the powers to deal with these types of kids.
And even if they were, people would look at their sweet faces and say " he's only a child letting off some steam" well this is what you get when you don't look after your kids properly and allow them to roam the streets.

Someone once said to me that the police are just tax collectors, taking money from those they know they can and giving it to the govt.
Of course I didn't believe them but judging by what I have seen I find myself re-evaluating my position on that statement.
I notice cameras, won't stop crime but will provide a platform in order to issue fines to people who may make a small infringement of the law.
And they only ever seem to work when it suits them.
So you park your motorcycle on a red line for a short time you get the ticket in the post, but the person being mugged in plain view of the camera has no chance of any help getting to them.
It kinda makes you wonder about the value of the cameras other than to issues parking fines or similar to honest hard working people.
The criminals don't give a damn about the cameras cos they have no number plates to identify them by.

I know which countries I would invest my money in, and it certainly wouldn't be those who treat people from oversea like crap.
Foreign investment is what keeps Britain's economy healthy without it this country would collapse, however saying that the people who invest understand that there needs to be some control over who and what is brought into the country in order to keep it healthy.
So it's all about finding a reasonable balance, coming down hard on hate crime regardless of what that hate is, because that sends a positive message to the world that it's not ok.
And at the moment the UK is failing in some areas but do ok in other areas.
