The Yorkshire Beast 200 Mile Sportive

This was an epic day in the saddle. 200 miles with 17,700ft of Climbing. The weather forecast looked like it could be very wet but on the day Yorkshire gave us a treat. This is a short video of one of the best days on the bike with my bike mates Gid, dan and VPCC members Calvin and Adrian.

This was an epic ride in Yorkshire. Have you ever cycled round the dales?

I threw my hat into the ring for this years beast, done it solo. It was difficult (obviously) prior to the ride I'd never ridden more than 130 miles before. We rode it in reverse (dales then yorkshire). I remember getting to Glaisedale and literally having to pull over as I was that tired I was crying, so physically & mentally exhaused. By far the hardest rode I've ever done. 14 hours moving time for me, which I think, for solo, is respectable 🤭☺️ Would definitely consider doing it again
