Thanks Stace, love your videos. Total newbie here and booked in for my learners 2 day course in 3 weeks. I don't have bike just yet, so loving the comparison. What is a good first bike to learn on, scared of heavy bike. I am 1.72m, so tall as you as well.
Thanks so much! 😊😊😊 Congratulations on booking your course! Exciting times ahead!!! Deciding on your first bike is tricky. Lots of things to consider... style, price range, engine size, kind of riding you want to do... in town or long trips etc. I learnt to ride on a cbr 125. It was a great bike to learn on, very light and super forgiving... but I outgrew it really quickly. I upgraded to a ninja 250 after about 2-3months. I was super happy on that but it wasn't too good on the highway. So yeah... depending on your financial situation and your confidence.... you might be better starting on something a little bigger so you don't have to upgrade so soon. Hope that helps and good luck with your course. Catch you on the next vid!!!
Thanks for the video…. My Vulcan is getting delivered tomorrow. Booked in for learners 3 weeks from now. Hope to see some learner videos…… plan on a ride to Melbourne sometime
Interesting comparison! I watched videos like yours before I bought my 2020 Vulcan S almost a year ago...coming up on 7,000 miles! I do dislike the OEM seat...cheers! You sound Aussie...are you?
Thanks for your comment! The vulcan is seriously awesome hey. I bet after 7000 miles your butt would be sore! Lol. Yep I'm an Aussie. Live in the sunny state of QLD 😁
Another Great Video :) Love that you have so much fun. I have the Vulcan S 650 and my better half has a Ninja 400. I totally agree with your comments. The big difference for me, between the sports and cruiser is the wind buffetting. Soooo much more comfortable on the Vulcan. I also feel a bit "gumby" when on the Ninja :) It was interesting your comments on the difference of the engine brake (throttle off) with the rebel. The Vulcan is very harsh on the engine brake. Vulcan will always be the winner for me :) "Come check out my bum hahahaha :)
Haha! Thanks for your comment. Love hearing the positive feedback so keep them coming haha. It's funny how your other half has a ninja 400... I had been looking at one before deciding on the Vulcan. They're such a good looking bike. Glad I went with the Vulcan though because it's so good for camping and cruising. Also... the butt measurement is going to be standard for every bike I ride from now on haha :-)
Thanks heaps 😁 I'd totally choose the Vulcan over the CBR. It's such a great bike. Big enough to be comfy on the open roads but you can still open it up like a small bike. Seriously heaps of fun!!
I'm looking at getting either. Rebel 500 or a Vulcan s 650.... I dunno. Need go sit on them and see which is best, I hear the rebel is a bit cramped for a tall person :/
They're both great bikes so you'll be livin the dream with whichever one you choose. Good idea to have a sit on them. See if you can take them for a ride too. 😉 I had my heart set on a rebel but knew it wasn't the bike for me when I saw a picture of me on it. I just looked too big! But the rebel is such a smooth ride so... hard decision! Good luck!!!
Personally my opinion is that the Vulcan S is much better than the rebel 500. I’ve known a couple of people who’ve had the 500. While it’s a good reliable bike, you WILL get bored with it. The Vulcan is so much more versatile and will keep you entertained with what it can do for a long time.
Here's the link to it on the official gopro website... but you can probably pick it up from JB HIFI or another electrical store. 😉 gopro.com/en/au/shop/mounts-accessories/handlebar-seatpost-pole-mount/AGTSM-001.html
Yeah it might be something I do in the future... but I actually don't mind the stock mirrors. When I bought it, it had bar end mirrirs which looked frikkin awesome... but couldn't see a thing haha (I hope that's what your mean by 'factory protection mirrors'... otherwise I have no idea)
Just discovered your channel! Great comparison on here, thank you. Greetings from Kentucky, US
Thanks for your kind words!! Hello from Australia!! 😁😁😁

Congratulations! Welcome to the vulcan crew 🖖 You'll absolutely love it. Great bike. Stay safe... dress for the slide not the ride.

Nice video, was looking for this! Which one would you choose though for your end all be all, the cbr or the Vulcan?
Thanks heaps 😁 I'd totally choose the Vulcan over the CBR. It's such a great bike. Big enough to be comfy on the open roads but you can still open it up like a small bike. Seriously heaps of fun!!
Rebel 1100 with cruise control for me thanks. I love this bike.
NIIICCCEEEE!!!! I bet it is smooth on the road. 🤩🤘

Honda Rebel is the winner for me 🤩
No way
VULCAN S YESSSSSSS 😉

They say the equation for bikes is 'n + 1 = perfect no. of bikes' where 'n' is current no. you have. We need one for all situations!
I just need a dirtbike now!!! 😁😁😁
@@TheVSChick do it!
Why not take factory protection off, on side mirrors?
Factory protection? Which bike?
@@TheVSChick On the vulcan?

Vulcan is amazing....what's ur height and ur ergofit from dealer?
I bought this baby second hand so I didn't have the luxury of the ergo fit. I just jumped straight on and luckily it was perfect. I'm 173cm 🤷♀️
How good is the Rebel? 😍
To be fair... I had a lot of fun on it! 🤫
Honda rebel is the winner for me…
Good choice! It's such a great bike. I'm a little biased towards the vulcan obviously but I reckon the rebel ticks so many boxes!
I don't like you rubbing all these bikes in my face been saving for 5000 years for a rebel :))
Haha! Your day will come my friend!!
