Thank you sir! My family and I camp in the deep woods. My son is in charge of the fire and he has researched many fires. I’ll have him try yours. Thanks for sharing!
the second last log you cut is by far the best log fire you can make in Australia we use alot great for cooking holds well in the wind rain and although its work to cut out with chainsaw its by far the best log fire thank you for sharing your hard work and professionalism
Wonderful! I just tried #3 and #6, and both worked as shown. We really liked the swedish torch! I found the rocket stove to be difficult to get going, but I'm sure with more practice and better cutting technique on my part it would work better. Thanks a bunch for the video!
Uve just saved my life If any disasters happen and I'm without a home without electric and in the elements... You saved my life... Absolutely amazing video... Fantastic.
Thanks for all your great videos. Love what you do. Please keep on doing more outdoor videos that include survival and diy projects because of your honesty and keen knowledge. Thanks from Charlotte, NC...MW
With that first fire, youre supposed to put dirt between each log. This prevents embers from falling down and catching the next level prematurely. Love the video, learned a couple things.
And here's me for years just randomly plonking wood here and there once I get some small twigs burning. Good video. Now i'll look like a camp fire guru.
I like the all night two and three logs and the rocket stove, pity I would need a chain saw but I bet you could make it with three small logs tied with two strips of wire? great video.
It would take more work of course but you can make all 3 with the folding saw. The chainsaw is to make it easier but if you got the folding saw you'd be set.
Straight to the point. Every outdoor video should be like this. Perfect.
every video in general should be like this. straight to the point.
This guy has it figured out
You'd like Alfieaesthetics as well then.

I'm an Eagle Scout (yes, even @ 66) and feel you have produced an excellent tutorial on building camp fires!
How often did your troop bring chainsaws with them for camping?
I could watch you all day, just to learn how to do the cool accent. The fact that I'm learning how to construct fires is a bonus!
Does anyone else love it when he says "boom"

That well-known bushcraft essential, the survival chainsaw 😂
Grows on a tree. Is related to th AK poplar
You can use an ordinary saw, be it that lovely large Silky Folding, or just an ordinary woodsaw.
Good for truck camping, prep at home, haul out to camp
Always keep one in your survival pack lol

Save lint from your lint trap on your dryer. Makes great kindling.
Yes it does.
That's what I use to knit my sweaters
Actually "tinder" -- the light stuff that catches very easily, say with just the sparks from a bit of flint and steel.
Rolled in Vaseline too.

#4. Get ready for burning log to roll through your camp.
I wanted to have a counter argument, but i thought about it rolling off into the woods and catching everything around the camp. i wouldn't use #4.
this is why you place rocks around the logs or dig a small pit to place the logs in
I'd have to agree, I'd use a log drop to get an all night fire instead of what he made.
Isnt that what happen in mexifornia?
Yuuuup. You really need to post the sides with some greenwood.
What a top video. Useful, simple and without all the macho bollox. Well done bud!
