Since you asked for cooking advice (who could give you survival advice?), I have two things to add. First, always cut with the flat surface of your veggies down. Cutting onions, for example, with the curved side down can lead to accidents because it's unstable. That goes with potatoes, carrots, etc. Anythng round should be cut so it has a flat side and then further cut with the flat side on the board. Second, if you find your toothpicks burning during coooking, you can cut them short and pre-soak them in water or a flavorful liquid of your choice ahead of time. Keep the videos coming Bob.
I really like how you explain the slightest things to people who might not understand what you’re talking about, like the percolator. I’ve also seen this quality in your other videos. Thank you, for the great educational content you provide.
