I love these Louisiana swamp videos, catch clean and cook, hog hunting etc, can’t do this in London.
This was really informative! Thank you!
Great Show! Very informative and the crawfish balls look delicious!
Man they so good try them out
One of the best crawfishing videos I've ever seen. Feel free to share more like these for sure. Take care.
Thank you so much God bless
Sure looked delicious. Also, it was really neat to see how the crawfish are harvested.
They are good. They are so expensive this year because of the bad drought last year. In my part of the state, they aren’t caught in the wild like this. They trap them in flooded unused rice fields.
Bravo what an awesome, informative Red Swamp Crayfish catching adventure!
Watching this awesome outstanding video makes me feel like I am right there with y'all!
The Louisiana Red Swamp Crayfish is one of the most widely transplanted and proliferated species of Freshwater Crayfish which is now found in many parts outside of it's native range in the southeast USA to all over the world from North America ,Europe, Asia and Africa.
The Louisiana Red Swamp Crayfish can even adopt itself to survive, living in Brackish and milder Salt water areas.
Those Crawfish Balls look fantastic, way to go!
Stay Safe and Keep up the awesome adventurous videos coming, Subscribed!

Tin Can Lake, Bayou des Glaises, Bayou Pigeon, Lake Zadrick. Beau Bayou Love the Basin. 25 cents in 1978 is like 1.16 today
Hi from south east Australia, loved this vid, we catch yabbies here similar to crawfish, nothing on that scale but plenty to eat. When the sea is too rough it's great to venture into fresh water, tight lines 🎣 🐟 🇦🇺 🇺🇲
That’s awesome man hope you learned a new way to cook them
@OutsidetheLevees Don't know if you'll see this, l tried the crawfish budan balls, bloody delicious man.
Oh wow!!!! I’m from Morgan City, La!!! That cool that y’all came to my hometown!

Jay.
Cool video very interesting! Thanks for sharing this with everyone.
Thank you so much for watching
Very informative video Jared... gracias amigo!
Thanks bro God bless
Beautiful vid! Save the Basin! Save Public Access! I've never been able to explain this to folks in New Orleans, even since we were stopping the logging in Bayou Brown ten years ago. North of here, land companies will put fences over the water and keep people from fishing. Anyway, love to see the wild harvest!
the fact they do this is just sad and pathetic. at the very least
Fascinating!
my man! thank you!
Very informative, great videos. Thanks
Thank you so much I’m glad you enjoyed it
*I remembered catching crawfish back in '77 along the side of the road in Belle Chasse, LA.*

Hope to come to Arkansas soon. God bless.
Give me advance notice and we can fish the Mississippi River around Memphis Tennessee for catfish. Jugs and tight lines usually getter done

My father-in-law used to take us to Pat's on the Atchafalaya Spillway. Soooo good!
Sounds like awesome
Memories
Someone I know (caugh) caught a little alligator south of Morgan City and released it in the Quad at LSU back in the 90's. There was a write up in the Baton Rouge Advocate and the LSU Revellie. To this day there is still not a break in the case.🤣🤣🤣
Lol. That's funny. Thanks for watching.
Those looked good
Thank you so much!
I got a chance to fly over that place in 2005 in a helicopter, and man all you can see is swamp in every direction. I have always wanted to hunt and fish there, so hopefully one day soon
It’s a treasure!
Thanks!!!! Now i have a hankering for some crawfish. Lol
Me too lol
Amazing but one thing going with the rubbish would it not be easier to on one side of the tray to have a ramp facing upwards to the edge of the boat then you can just scrape all the rubbish straight off the edge
Thumbs up from somewhere close to Fort Knox, Kentucky
Heck yeah! Glad you enjoyed it
Just curious, how long does your season last and I assume they breed in large quantities. Greetings from Idaho.
December or so till June
Like always great show. So when are you going to make a cook book? Keep up the good work. Love the videos.
Hopefully in two years cook book will be out. Bless you!
Nice vid.

Thank you 😋
Man that sure looks good...
Appreciate you. God bless
Got me urges for some crawfish dinner
That looks so good, have all of mine. I’m deathly allergic to shell fish. Incidental contact, don’t even have to ingest.
dang. I hate that for you. sorry to hear that but thanks for watching
What are those kind of traps called and where can I get those kind of traps?
Beautiful crawfish Jared . They are strong and nice bright red color . Question for you. Why sometimes i see greenish mud color like crayfish at my local fish market. is it the feeding ?
Man that’s a great question. I know for a lot of aquatic life color variations has to do with water clarity but I honestly don’t have a definitive answer for that
Awesome
Thanks bro!
@@OutsidetheLevees we will be there the 19th. Maybe we will see you.
Where can we get live shrimp bait when we come
Crawfish, sounding good, it's been years since I've had some.
Yes indeed! Get you some
That’s a serious low idling Vanguard back there 👌🏻
For real man they def get the job done
Great vid. One question: why weren’t they re-baiting the traps?
season is over. thanks for watching
Do you find any difference in taste in wild crawfish from farmed? Shoutout from Allen Parish!
Damn, I'm hungry !!!!!
Crawfish are definitely my favorite crustacean. The flavor is so good and because they live in fresh water they don’t have a fishy taste. Very mild, and unoffensive. I’d choose to eat crawfish over lobster any day.!!
Thank you for sharing .i love the catching but it selling too cheap
They don’t set the prices unfortunately
Quá đã anh ỏi👍❤❤❤
In Australian we call them yabbie, yum o.
That's how WE do it in the basin, inside the levees. Almost as good as st bernard ditch crawfish sammich...😂
Yes indeed! Thanks for watching
Once they bait those traps, how often do they go back to check them? Every other day??
Tjank you for sharing how to cook small lobster we have a lot in Philippine but i cooked it in different way
Thanks for watching
Taku...pronounced green "buh ray"...brother man 🍻
Thank you brother God bless
Hell yes!!!!
Looks fun bro... crawfish fried rice and crawfish lasagna is legit asf also bro..try it.
Next time!
Trying crawfish today for my first time making a seafood boil with my daughter. I hope it tastes as good as everybody makes it look 😂 wish me luck yall!!
...and I thought I was in heaven catching a five gallon bucket of those nuggets overnight. My favorite! 🦞 Whoa!
Amen to that!
