Just so everyone knows, the standard Gemini 2 _(GM2)_ does NOT have a Bluetooth interface. If you want the Bluetooth capability, be sure that when you order your Gemini 2 cab, the model number says "GM2-BT". *BT stands for Bluetooth.*
Great tone and playing , I'm trying a bunch of options to see how I should connect my Helix.
I have a Mesa Boogie Mark V and a Marshall rackmount 8004 amp.
But this Gemini seems to make the most sense and sounds great.
Richard Rooney thank you! Honestly, the FRFR cab options such as the Gemini, Line 6 Powercab and the Friedman ASC 12, are the best way to go now. imho, they sound better than 4x12 cabs. Ad they are smaller, tighter, cleaner, lighter, louder, and have more options and flexibility
Have you tried the Headrush yet ? , its a lot cheaper , I cant find any tests done on it.

Hi I have Helix LT and I’m looking to Buy either the Mission Gemini2 or the Line6 Powercab 212.
can you do a review of the new Line 6 Powercab 212? Or compare it with the Mission Gemini2?
Im torn between the two. Line6 PC212 is cheaper by a few hundred.

Michael Furman I appreciate your question. It you want features and a cab that can be mic'd, go with the Gemini.
Caveat- the Gemini does add a bit of color to your tone. If you like the color, go for it. They are a great company.
The Friedman- tight, ballsy, punchy and 90 - 100% transparent.

Hi Brett, IMHO, both will do jazz, blues, dad rock ,etc. Very well. That said, I think the Friedman does metal better. So, I'd go with the Friedman for that reason

What are you’re thoughts on the ax8 vs the helix? I can’t decide between the two and don’t really know if the ax8 sounds dramatically better or not.
Anthony Vo thank you for the question. Helix all day long buddy. Waaaaayyyyyy easier to dial in and sounds better. I didn't even open the manual.
AX8 comes with a huge manual, lab coat and NASA's phone number

Not yet. I almost got my hands on one, but the guy wasn't willing to let me rent it from him. I offered $100.00 for a 4 hour rental and he refused. Lol what a snob

The Friedman ASC 12 is my personal favorite. I do like the Mission products as well.
