It all depends! on the width of the one you are going to make, and also the thickness of your yarn. The yarn that I used for this was very thin, so for some color I used like 50 strand, and others 30 strands. Also take in consideration the colors that you want to POP (for those used for strands). Good luck! Stay Safe!
Thanks! I used a regular stapler. I did it in two days. I would say 4hours each day (8hrs total) but I had help with the cutting of the yarn. Hope yours come out better than mine. 😁
Hello! To hold the wood stick I used a clothing rack, with type S hook. To measure the yarn I just cut a string and play with it to see how wide and the length I wanted the wall hanging to be. Thanks for watching!
Can you tell me what size yarn you used? I see on one of your packages 100 grams. Is that what I would go by? I am in love with theses pieces. I can’t believe how easy they are compared to the price on Etsy. You did a beautiful job and you chose my favorite color pallet. I just took a look through your videos and I LOVE your creativity. New sub and I’m looking forward to binging on your channel. 💕
Hello, yes!, That's the size I used, and is the soft cotton used for knitting baby clothes I think they also call it Milk cotton. Yes it is easy to make, but depending on the size you want your wall hanging it is a little time consuming. If you make please share you photo. Stay Safe!
The must time consuming part, is cutting the yarn, my suggestion is get a helper to cut the yarn, other then than It took me like an 1hour to put it all together. Hope it come out great!
Si tienes dudas me puedes volver a escribir. Muchas gracias!
You say you cut your lengths to 5’ … how do you make sure they are exactly 5’ when you are wrapping and tying them .. I notice you had a lot of extra over hang at the ends …. Don’t the strands need to be exactly even to get the look … seems if there is any discrepancy the piece would look odd ???
@@creationsdesignsbyjessica2191 I guess my question is if the strands aren’t exactly the same length will the piece look uneven …? .. I’m just about to start one but I’m a bit nervous as to how exact I have to be ? … and it looks like you wrapped your pieces around the strip of wood ? .. is that correct ? … sorry for all the questions I wasn’t clear on a few things from the video…. 🙈🇨🇦
@@amg8497 you are right! My suggestion is to measure the height you want your piece, cut 1 piece of cord/strand and make the U shape, play with that cord/strand until you have the height that you want. The wider you make your U more wide the piece is. It also depends on the wall. But yes all the strand should be the same lenght.
I love it! Exactly what I was looking for!! These were so expensive on Etsy! I am going to try and make it myself now! 😃 Thank you so much !
Thank you for you support. Yes , please try to make it. That is the purpose of my vides. Stay safe!

Wow amazing idea....❤️
Thanks a lot 😊
I love this! Thank you so much for the tutorial.
How long did this take?
Also, did you have to use a staple gun or just a regular stapler?
Thanks! I used a regular stapler. I did it in two days. I would say 4hours each day (8hrs total) but I had help with the cutting of the yarn. Hope yours come out better than mine. 😁
Amazing kindly tell me how to remove frizz of long stranded straight wool yarn to make it look smooth
The yarn that I used for this hanging is smooth, the ones used for baby blankets
This absolutely beautiful! Do you remember how many pieces of yarn you had to cut (total)? Thank you!
Hello! I cut like 20 pieces for each color, because I used thin yarn. If it was a thicker yarn I used less.
Thank you!
@@creationsdesignsbyjessica2191 thank you so much!
I love it and am planning to do it but is it a macrame yarn or wool yarn
Hello! You can used any kind of yarn, for this one I use cotton yarn. Hope it comes out beautiful!
Happy Thanksgiving!
How did you measured the right side to go over to the left side? Also what items are you using to hold the sticks while laying the yarn?

Bello ❤
