I've seen fiber art like this on Pinterest and absolutely love it! Thank you for showing us how to create our own. And thank for clear and concise instructions.❤😊
Oh, it does take a lot of patience! But, it didn't take me quite as long as the one I did earlier in the year! If you want to see that, here it is ua-cam.com/video/swXX0vWZHCQ/v-deo.html 💕
Valerie, I am going to try this one! I love the natural ( not rustic) look and your art is very tasteful. Thank you for explaining everything. I would be lost without the words. ( Many play music with no words.)
WoW Valerie this piece is perfection! Cannot believe it’s created out of a canvas and cord! It would also be tremendously easy to customize in colour and or texture to suit any space. I am sincerely in love with how your piece turned out and want to replicate it as soon as I get more (lots more 😉) hemp cord. Thank you so much for this! ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
Hi Shannon! Yes! You're so right! There are a ton of really neat materials that can be used for these types of DIYS! So glad you enjoyed it! :) Have a beautiful rest of the week!
I recently bought similar to the CB2 art, but it was enclosed in plexiglass. Unfortunately, when I got it home, it had a crack in the corner and I returned it. Would love to recreate it following your DYI, but how dusty does it get and how do you clean it, since it is not enclosed by plexiglass/acrylic?
Oh my goodness Valerie, that is absolutely amazing 👏🏻 It looks SO high end and extremely well crafted. Your channel is brilliant and you always have such fabulous ideas. So glad I found you! 😊🇬🇧
Pristine! I knit and crochet which involves patience anyway. Thank you so much for this tutorial and inspiration, I'll give it a go! 😃 Sending regards and virtual hugs all the way from Germany 🤗✌
I love this, thank you❣️ After you hot glued the first group of hemp to the canvas, on the next set it looked like you hot glued the next set of hemp to the first hemp only and not to the canvas?
Valerie, I am at a loss for finding the help needed for this project. I am confused as to which thickness to buy. I ordered some from California and it is twine. How thick is your cord? 😢 I do want to begin this project. I tried everywhere... Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Amazon.. (I did order from Amazon through a third party seller. It was thin twine. Now I have the expense of sending it back.) I think my issue is there use twine and rope interchangeably. I even found a pic of the different sizes on Temu. I wish I could send it to you. Bottom line, I am confused as to the thickness of the hemp. What thickness did you use? Can you please help me out? Paula
I just found this video & would like to give it a go. Does your string have a thickness I can't make it out. Love this going to look at your other videos Many thanks x
Hi Samm! I honestly can't remember if this had a specific thickness or what it was. I'd say just get a few samples and see if they're what you're looking for! ❤
I love the idea of layering it with some frames too! Would look great leaning on a console table as well. Can even be done in a smaller or larger size! So many different options! 💕
@@ValerieAguiar I have a long skinny, shallow niche going into bedroom, and have been trying to figure what to put there because it’s shallow. Think I will look for a skinny long canvas and see how that would look there. 🌺🌸
@@ValerieAguiar Yes the DIYs are my fave. And you make things that are not just dollar tree things that will get tossed aside in a few days. I also like to make things that even if I get tired to them someone else would definitely still want them. 👌🏾👌🏾
I just placed my first order from your sister’s shop last night, now I get a video from you, win-win lol!! This turned out so good, per usual! I’ve been itching for a project, I may give this a try and make two with slight variations for a large blank wall I have in my living room. TFS!
I was also hoping to find out the diameter of the cord she used. I ordered 2mm but it looks thinner than hers. Obviously as the diameter goes up, so does the price, but I’m thinking as the diameter increases, the yardage required might decrease. So far my pricing for the help cord is making this project cost prohibitive ☹️
Ironing steaming really might make it easier to keep the string laying flat. Put a cloth down over your bundles and steam. I like your piece, it looks like wood.
I love this! Have you ever tried using different colors on one design? Or a single different color such as a denim color?
Great work! You made something that appears to be complicated pretty simple. I am absolutely going to make it. Thank you.
great idea w tape. would have never thought of it.

I have never seen an art project quite like this one. I really love it! Great texture and color. You had a lot of patience w/this project!

Thank you .I am going to try this but with coloured string.
I bet that will look really neat! :)
Great instructions. Beautiful! I'm full of ideas to customize it
I love working with rope this is beautiful!! Truly inspired!!
Thank you so much!
This looks great. Such a complex design. Great effect.
Thank you! Such a simple design but so interesting!
Interesting. Wish you would've shown the C&B inspo piece. Thx for sharing 💥
Hi PJ! It's inspired from this C&B piece I did a while back ua-cam.com/video/swXX0vWZHCQ/v-deo.html 😊
@@ValerieAguiar oh I remember that. I loved it.🙂
I'm in the process of making 3 of these. Only on the first one right now. I would like to frame them. What is the best nail gun to use?
Stunning very creative. What a idea amazing speechless WOW
Thanks Abida! 💕

Valerie Valerie!!! ANOTHER ONE for the win! So beautiful. Where is the diagram you drew??
It's right after the 8 minute mark in the video. I wanted to make sure it was easy to understand the layering and order, I hope it helps!

What size is the cord? 8mm? Beautiful work.
Loved it, almost as much as the other string art you did. But this looked like something I might be able to handle. Thank you for showing us/

Thanks for sharing this, it looks great ❤ just wondering though, would it be okay to use a clear coat or varnish spray at the end?
I'm sure you could use a clear coat or varnish spray at the end and be fine! 💕
