I love this... just getting into macrame, I have tons and tons of yarn from cracheting... I can not wait to try this one. Very pretty and not hard at all
@@ALittleLikeLisa I love to make things, I get board easy.. I have carved wood, built with would, painted, crocheted, you name it, Ove probably done it. This just takes for ever with yarn... I will definitely have to find a good site to order cord kr rope to make big one. Trying to tie knots with yarn makes a project take forever.. 😉
Another efficient trick for unraveling the yarn, from the start and for nice even strands, is to place bar stools upside down (50 inches apart), and tie a knot with the yarn on one bar stool leg, then loop around the other bar stool’s side!
This was awesome and super helpful. I'm making boho wall hangings for my sister in law's baby shower and couldnt figure out the best way to get the angle at the bottom. Thank you!
I totally Love this.........was thinking...this would make a really dif' kinda curtain too...........is that silly or what......lol.......thank you.........hugssss
Awesome job!!!! Very well put together and clear instructions.......Im gonna use this for my baby girls room!!!!!!! I needed an idea and this is great!!!!! New Subbie🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I really love this. Thank you!!! What is the yarn your using for it? I love the sheen. It kind of looks like simply soft. However that's been hard to find lately.
Thank you! And sorry for the late reply. I got the yarn from Michaels with the brown and white yarn being from the Red Heart brand and the mauve from the Bernat brand I believe. Hope this helps!
Anyone else here in 2020 looking for something to do in quarantine lockdown? Just me? Okay. I've got a nice burnt orange and black then a multicolored warm orange/black yarn. So I guess I'mma make some fall colored stuff lol.
hey! this looks so pretty! how do i hang this on my wall? i live in a rental and would stick-on hooks take the weight of this? what would you recommend?
Thank you! I think the stick on hooks would work, especially since this is pretty lightweight. If anything making it slightly smaller would work as well.
You can use renter friendly command hook its available on amazon. U can stick it to wall and remove without any damage they are available in different options like 1 kg 2 kg weight bearing capacity
Kiwi it depends on how long your dowel is. I eyeballed the purple/mauve coloured yarn but the white yarn I wrapped until the pack was done since I needed more in the middle. Hope that helps!
I don’t get it. This is not a complicated piece at all. One knot if you can call it that. But when people walk in the room their eyes are always drawn to it and they always comment. There is something elegant about it. And I’ve never seen the tape trick before. Great idea.
Love it! Short, sweet, and to the point. Thank you for this tutorial 🙂
Only just found your channel. Thank you for sharing your idea, I would like to make this for my son's apartment ☺💖🌹
Yay! I’m glad you found it helpful ☺️

Beautiful!
Gorgeous
This is so beautiful!
Could the yarn be brushed out?
It's hard to brush yarn out, it tends to fall to bits
I really love this. Thank you!!! What is the yarn your using for it? I love the sheen. It kind of looks like simply soft. However that's been hard to find lately.
this is sooo cute!
Wow great... I did mine too.

Really cute. Great tutorial.

Was the yarn you showed in the beginning of the video all you used to make this wall hanging? Trying to figure out how much I will need 😊
Jessica Geertsema yes! Just those three :)
Hi, how much thick of yarn that u used?
This is so helpful! Thanks!
Love it!
So cute! What kind of yarn did you use? Would love to use the same colors
Thank you! And sorry for the late reply. I got the yarn from Michaels with the brown and white yarn being from the Red Heart brand and the mauve from the Bernat brand I believe. Hope this helps!
@@ALittleLikeLisa are they the normal knitting yarns
Stephen Mwai sorry for the late reply. Yes they are.

Haha nice!! This is definitely a good way to pass the time in lockdown
Could u do a tutorial on a much smaller piece, maybe 8 inches long?
Beautiful I saw twice 😍😍 it looks easy but I am sure it's not
may i know how long is the yard you consumed per color?
Maybe I missed the hanging string part- is it one long piece attached to the dowel at each end and how long did you cut the hanging string%?
Nancy Becerra sorry for the late reply. I mention it at the 2:24 mark. The string is doubled up and about 45 inches long. Hope that helps!
really good
A_KIRA _R thank you!

Hey love from India.... How to clean this... Pls reply
Love this! Thank you ♥
I made one, thanks to this video
Where can I purchase this stuff? Like the dowel and other craft items.
Jennifer the dowel you can get for cheap from Home Depot and the rest I got from Micheals. Hope this helps!!
@@ALittleLikeLisa awesome thank you!!! How much did everything end up costing?
@@jennifer6893 I would say roughly around 20 bucks cdn.
Lovely! How’s much yarn did you need( meters per roll)?
Sorry, for the late reply. I used about three full rolls.
The knot she used to attach the yarn to the dowel is called the Larks Head Knot. It’s a macramé knot.
Hermoso y facil🙂
So pretty ❤️🇩🇰😍
Thank you!!
Thanking you so much
Gorgeous! You could sell these!
Haha! Maybe one day!
Curious if you experience the ends fraying at all and what you did to mitigate that?
No, I haven't actually! I'm thinking it could depend on the type of yarn?
How many times do I wrap the yarn around before I stop ?
Kiwi it depends on how long your dowel is. I eyeballed the purple/mauve coloured yarn but the white yarn I wrapped until the pack was done since I needed more in the middle. Hope that helps!
Tengo ganas de hacerme uno parecido a este, pero mi preocupación es cómo se puede lavar cuándo esté sucio.
Muito lindo!!! Você poderia dar as informações em cms?
what thickness size yarn was that? 4?
It's 5 - chunky. Hope that helps.
😍👍🏾😍👏🏾👏🏾
this intro song is the same as Lone Fox's.
It’s just a generic royalty free song...

Thanks!! Yes, it’s a pretty simple idea with a great finished product!
Just dont like the colors but creative!!
BLM :)
Beautiful
how thick is the yarn?
8 ply I'd say
