Adding texture to my diorama | Building Lizardmansion - Episode 2

In the second episode of the Good Mood's new series, we see the vision described in the first episode begin to take physical shape. And I do mean begin. Anyone hoping to see this diorama anywhere near completion will be sorely disappointed. There is minimal hobbying in the video, and important footage showing how the methods described are actually applied to the diorama is absent. This results in a confusing path from what are described as "the foundations" of the diorama at the start of the video to its completed footprint at the end. Moreover, the tips for adding texture to the diorama amount to purchasing overpriced products rather than using real ingenuity. The one method that is creative, involving extracting distinct elements from a larger design on a textured rolling pin, is poorly explained and, bizarrely, discouraged by the host.

I’m always here for texture, basically in everything from fashion and fabrics to food, so it was great to see what you were able to achieve here using it!
Those tiles are so neat and fun - you’re right about their connection to Art Deco too, hadn’t remembered that!
